“I’m glad that assembly was over~” Ha Rin breathed out as she and her sister sat on the last table left unoccupied on their new school’s cafeteria right after the whole school’s assembly to eat their lunch.
“Starting late and finishing by lunch time? Is that even the right way to start a new school year?” Ha Rin kept on complaining.
“Dongsaeng, stop your complaints alright? I saw you earlier; you weren’t listening when the principal was halfway through her speech.” Min Young said in a as of a matter of fact tone.
Ha Rin just shrugged. “I agree that it was quite long for an assembly, but I think its very informative because I’ve learned a lot about the school.” Min Young stated.
Ha Rin gave her sister a nod since as she knew her sister she’s the type of person who would listen attentively to speeches especially if it’s about an important matter.
“Why did we have to be in an all girls’ university by the way? What is it called again?” Ha Rin asked naively and started eating her carbonara.
Min Young exhaled in frustration. “For heaven’s sake dongsaeng, its Seoul Performing Arts University for Girls.” She explained and gave her sister a look.
“Hey, I wasn’t paying attention okay? So tell me, why did we have to go to a school like this?” Ha Rin defended and questioned her sister again.
“I don’t know, maybe dad and mom thinks its safer and…” Min Young paused as she and her sister looked around the cafeteria.
“No BOYS!” They said in unison with emphasis.
“Aissh! I should have known! Wouldn’t it be dull without boys around?” Min Young expressed in disappointment.
“I know! What’s the use of having a pretty face like we have if there aren’t any boys around to admire it?” Ha Rin stated proudly and high-fived her sister and they began to laugh hysterically.
“On a serious note, do you think will have friends in a place like this unnie?” Ha Rin asked.
Min Young looked around the cafeteria once more. “Well I—“
“See, you’re not sure too. What if some people would want to be friends with us because they know our family’s reputation? What if they use us again like the friends we thought we had back in Japan who turned out to be es as hell? I don’t want that to happen again.” Ha Rin let out her fears.
“I know that Ha Rin and I feel the same way. I suggest we should be extra careful now. Being too kind doesn’t work for either of us. Besides, I think they don’t know who we are exactly.” Min Young advised and gave out a small smile but the worry inside her stayed.
“Oh~ now I know why appa doesn’t want our names to appear on the newspapers here yet. Except in Japan, where we had to appear in every newspaper to increase our company’s reputation.” Ha Rin stated upon her own understanding.
“Excuse me…” A voice near them interrupted and instantly the twins looked at the person expectantly.
“We’re wondering if we could share with you. There aren’t any other tables left so it’s okay if we sit with you?” The girl asked again. And the three other girls behind her smiled.
The twins locked eyes and gave each other a firm nod. “Sure.”
The four girls sat beside the twins; two on each side. “I’m Jihyun. Nam Jihyun.” The girl who asked earlier introduced herself and shook hands with Ha Rin as she was sitting beside her and Min Young afterwards.
“Gayoon. Heo Gayoon.” The other girl sitting on Ha Rin’s side greeted.
“I’m Jeon Jiyoon.”
“And I’m Kwon Sohyun.” The girls on Min Young’s side introduce themselves politely with a smile.
“I’m Shin Min Young/I’m Shin Ha Rin.” The twins greeted in unison.
“How cute~” Gayoon gushed and smiled at the twins.
“Do twins really have to speak almost at the same time always?” Sohyun asked in pure curiousity.
“No.” The twins declined at the same time.
They all began to laugh as they enjoy their food altogether and to the twins’ surprise they seemed to be comfortable with their new found friends.

“Are you sure you don’t want us to give you girls a ride?” Min Young asked the four girls as they were walking to the school gates since they only had a half day in school for orientation.
“Yes. We’re sure~ see you tomorrow!” Jiyoon said and the four girls waved goodbye to the twins as they walked off.
After a few minutes, their limo stretched before them and the twins got inside quickly to avoid getting too much attention from everyone around.
“Young Mistresses, are you heading somewhere else first or straight to your house?” Their butler asked the twins.
“Straight to our house please.” Min Young answered politely without asking for Ha Rin’s opinion because she had snoozed off quickly.
