Merry Christmas

Saving All My Love (For You)

No One’s POV

“That’s one delicious Christmas breakfast! Woo!” Bum cheered and held onto his full stomach as he and Min Young together with the adults sat down on the couch in the living room after breakfast.

“I totally agree oppa! We almost finish the whole thing!” Min Young added and giggled.

“And if Myungsoo and Ha Rin were here with us the food might not be enough for all of us.” Mrs. Shin commented.

“Yes. The two of them can really eat well especially if its their favorite dish. They’ll be thrilled.” Mrs. Kim stated and laughed.

“How I wish they really are here to spend Christmas with us today.” Bum expressed in sadness.

“I wonder how they are celebrating Christmas there in Japan.” Min Young thought out loud.

Ha Rin’s POV

As I felt the urge to wake up I sat up straight on my bed early Christmas morning I saw a tray full of food on top of the coffee table.

I stood up and walked towards the table as I looked around the room and searched for Myungsoo oppa but he was nowhere to be seen.

I sat by the table and found a sticky note by it. I read it and my heart automatically skipped a beat and blushed because of this little sticky note.

Good morning Ha Rin-ah! Merry Christmas! You don’t know how I happy I am that we’re together on a special day like this. J Enjoy your breakfast.

-Myungsoo oppa

As I started eating my breakfast, my phone rang suddenly and I immediately answered it when I saw who the caller was.

“Hi unnie! Merry Christmas!” I greeted as Min Young unnie came into view through our video call.

“Hello dongsaeng! Merry Christmas!” Bum oppa greeted back with Min Young unnie by his side waving.

“Hi dear! Merry Christmas!” My mom and Mrs. Kim cheered together and smiled at me warmly.

“Hello my princess. How are you? How’s work going there?” My dad questioned me.

“I—“

“Can’t you at least wish her a Merry Christmas first before you ask her about work?” My mom asked in disbelief.

“Alright. I’m sorry honey. Merry Christmas princess!” My dad said with a grin and I giggled in return.

“Merry Christmas Ha Rin-ah! Where’s Myungsoo?” Mr. Kim asked and as if on cue Myungsoo oppa just came in.

He walked towards me and knelt by my side with a smile on his face upon seeing our families on the camera.

“Hi everyone! Merry Christmas!” Myungsoo oppa greeted and smiled.

“Merry Christmas to you too!” They said in unison and we all laughed.

“So what are your plans for today?” Mrs. Kim asked the two of us.

“Work!” Myungsoo oppa and I said together with no hesitations and without taking glances at each other.

“What? But—“

“No mom, its inevitable. Work is more important for us here for now. So there’s no use of protesting okay? Right dad?” I said and looked at my dad who smiled at me.

“Precisely! But as an order, we’re giving the two of you a day off from work in a few days time for you to enjoy and explore Japan before you come back here. Understand?” My dad said in a command.

Myungsoo oppa and I nodded in understanding and smiled. “Alright son, you can go to work now.” Mr. Kim demanded and in an instant Myungsoo oppa waved good bye to everyone and stood up.

Before he could even leave our suite he stopped on his tracks and glanced at me. I looked back and he smiled at me and left afterwards.

“Yah! Shin Ha Rin!” I heard Min Young unnie’s shout still from her video call but when I looked at her she’s already at a different setting.

“I came here in our room to talk to you more privately. What’s going on with you now? How are you?” She asked me in a intriguing voice.

“I-I’m fine unnie.” I stuttered and lowered my head.

“What’s with the stuttering? Is there something wrong?” She persisted in suspicion.

“No! Nothing at all! Sorry unnie, but I have to go to work! Bye! Take care!” I said quickly and hung up the phone as an excuse.

“You can’t possibly know about what Myungsoo oppa told me last night unnie. Not yet.” I thought out loud and set off to prepare for today’s work on a Christmas day.

No One’s POV

When Ha Rin entered their office something caught her attention immediately, and it was a bouquet of roses on top of her desk.

Ha Rin quickly sat down and read the card attached to it.

Merry Christmas Ha Rin-ah, I hope you liked your breakfast earlier and these roses too. I want you to know that I’m serious on everything that I said last night.

-Myungsoo oppa

Ha Rin didn’t know how to react and that night replayed in her mind instead.

—FLASHBACK—

“I like you too, not just a younger sister but as a woman, it turned out that I feel the same about you too.” Myungsoo said as calm as possible.

Ha Rin widened her eyes and took a step away from him. “Are you crazy?! That’s impossible! You’re… It can’t be.” She yelled out.

“I know. I’m married. But so what? That’s not important now. What matters now is the two of us; I like you Ha Rin, more than anyone else in the world and most importantly, more than Hyuna.” Myungsoo elaborated delicately.

“Now you expect me to believe all these? You’re out of your mind. This is not possible.” Ha Rin stated in disbelief.

“Too bad now that it is. But I understand what you feel now and I’m willing to wait.” Myungsoo expressed in determination.

“Wait for what?”

“I’m willing to wait for you, to tell me that you still feel the same way.” He said and gave her a hopeful smile.

“How can you be so sure that I still have feelings for you?” She asked him and raised an eyebrow.

“Only you can answer that Ha Rin. But I’m hoping and will always will, from now on.” He told her in confidence.

—END OF FLASHBACK–

Ha Rin rested her back on her swivel chair and looked up on the ceiling thinking hard. “What should I do now?” She said and closed her eyes.

“Are you okay Ha Rin-ah?” A familiar voice asked her in concern.

She stood up in shock and she saw Myungsoo standing in front of her desk with a worried expression on his face.

Ha Rin kept silent and gathered all the folder she would need for her meeting for that morning. “Thanks for the roses.” She mumbled evading his stare and left the room.

Myungsoo stayed in their office for awhile and an idea popped in his mind that would need a lot of resisting and control.
