No One’s POV

Weekends past quickly and during those days Ha Rin had sleepless nights crying and locking herself up in her room.

Even Min Young gave up on convincing her to go out because she knows her sister wanted time for herself, alone.

Monday morning, Min Young entered her sister’s room and found her still sleeping on her bed peacefully.

Min Young walked quietly and sat by the side of Ha Rin’s bed. “Dongsaeng, wake up. Time for school.” She said in a whisper.

Ha Rin flicker her eyes open slowly and sat up with difficulty as she felt her body heavier than usual and touched her head which was throbbing in pain.

Min Young noticed Ha Rin’s condition and patted her sister’s forehead instantly. “Omo! You’re heating up.” She cried out in shock.

“No unnie, I’m fine. I can go to school.” Ha Rin insisted and was about to get off her bead but Min Young laid her back down and covered her with her blankets.

“Don’t. You stay here and rest. I’ll call our family doctor to prescribe you with medicine, alright?” Min Young commanded and stood up.

“That’s what you get from not eating your meals properly and isolating yourself from the world.” Min Young pointed out factually.

“Is now the time you should be telling me off like that?” Ha Rin uttered and closed her eyes.

“I’m just saying. Rest well and I’ll ask one of our maids to get you the medicines you’ll need.” Min Young stated and went out of her sister’s room.

“I heard you talking on your phone just now, who was that?” Dongwoo asked Sungyeol interestedly.

As usual, during lunch breaks, Sungyeol and Dongwoo would lounge at Myungsoo’s office after eating lunch together.

“It was Min Young. I called to ask how she is and her sister.” Sungyeol said.

With the mention of the Shin twins, Myungsoo paused at his work since keeping himself busy is his way of trying to avoid thinking about Ha Rin and her confession to him.

“She said, Ha Rin’s sick just this morning. I hope its nothing serious.” Sungyeol muttered in sympathy.

Myungsoo’s eyes widened. “She’s sick? But why? Perhaps…” he mumbled softly and suddenly had an instinct of himself for it.

Dongwoo looked at Myungsoo and it was obvious to him that his friend got worried immediately judging by his expression.

“How about visiting her? What do you think L?” Dongwoo asked him.

“I can’t. I’m busy.” Myungsoo said monotonously and went back to work.

“He’s right. We can’t. We’ve got a lot of work to do. Let’s just hope she gets better soon.” Sungyeol said wistfully.

“Right. Lets go back to work then. See you later L!” Dongwoo said and him and Sungyeol went out of his office.

As soon as the door closed, Myungsoo dropped his pen and ran his fingers through his hair.

“I want to see you badly. But after what happened, I don’t have the courage to face you Ha Rin. I’m sorry.” He muttered in defeat and glanced at the picture of him and her on top of his filing cabinet.

Tuesday night, and Ha Rin still didn’t have enough strength to go to school during the day. She sat up straight resting her back on her bed’s headboard.

She checked the time by her clock on the wall and it was 10:30 pm. Her eyes spotted her table on the side where the clock was hanging and saw her picture frames.

It was pictures of her, with her family, her sister and lastly an updated picture of her with Myungsoo.

She stared at it for a moment and there, tears began to stream down her face feeling the pain in her heart all over again.

“Why did I have to fall for you this this oppa?” She asked herself.

“I shouldn’t have expected that you’ll love me in return.” Ha Rin mumbled.

“I don’t know what to do next oppa, I’m afraid I’ll be unable to forgert you.” She went on.

“I love you too much to let you go that easily.” Ha Rin pointed out.

“I know it’ll be hard for me, but one thing’s for sure. I never regret my choice of loving you, Kim Myungsoo.” She said in conclusion and closed her eyes and continued to cry more.

Ha Rin knew she had enough of crying for the night. She got her phone from her side table and stared at it looking at her wallpaper.

Out of the blue, she dialed Myungsoo’s number. But after a few rings, she hung up afraid that if he picked up her call, she wouldn’t know what to say.

Morning came and Myungsoo’s alarm on his phone had gone on and he was immediately awakened by it.

He then noticed a missed call and when he opened it, his eyes widened. “Ha Rin called last night?” Myungsoo asked himself.

“That can’t be. At 10:45 in the evening? She sleeps early. That’s impossible.” He said in disbelief while shaking his head.

“It must have been by accident. Right. Accident.” He wondered and convinced himself as he stood up from his bed and went straight to take a shower.
