Myungsoo’s POV

“You talked to him that long?” I asked as Ha Rin closed the front door.

She jumped in shock and turned to look at me. “You scared me! what are you doing here?” She asked.

“I’m here to wait for you to come in. and tell me, what things have you talked about with Woohyun that it had to end this late?” I questioned her and stood up as I gave her a narrowed look.

“Did I ask you to wait for me? I didn’t right? So it’s not my problem that you had grown impatient of waiting alright?” Ha Rin retorted and took a step closer to me and glared.

I kept quiet and stared back at her. “If we’re done here, excuse me but I’ll go to bed.” She said and walked towards the staircase.

I followed her and grabbed her hand. Ha Rin wanted to let go of my grasp but I held on it tighter instead.

She couldn’t do anything so we went upstairs holding each other’s hand. She let go quickly as we came into a halt in front of her room.

“I missed holding your hand like that.” I said softly with a smile before she can enter her room.

She turned and looked at me. “Good night Ha Rin-ah, see you in the morning.” I said and winked at her and we both enter our respective rooms afterwards.

Min Young’s POV

Ha Rin entered our room and closed the door with a heavy sigh. “What’s wrong dongsaeng?” I questioned her.

She was startled and looked at me with widened eyes. “What’s wrong with you people?! You keep on scaring me like that?!” She snapped in annoyance.

“Yah! What happened?” I questioned her as she sat down beside me on our bed.

“It was Myungsoo oppa earlier at the living room downstairs, and now you.” She said and exhaled.

“What was he doing there?” I asked in suspicion.

“He said he was waiting for me to come in. And…” Ha Rin began and paused shortly looking at me nervously.

“And?”

“He held onto my hand tightly as we went upstairs and even said he missed holding onto it.” Ha Rin said cautiously and lowered her hand.

I kept quiet and continued on reading my fashion magazine. “Aren’t you going to say anything?” Ha Rin questioned with a sound of surprise in her voice.

“Like what?”

“Like, shout at me or something?” Ha Rin asked.

I dropped my magazine and looked at her. “I’ll just be wasting my voice if I do that. It happened already anyway.” I told her.

She nodded in understanding. “Now tell me, what you and Woohyun had talked about?” I asked her and wiggled my eyebrows in interest.

“Nothing much, he just asked me to keep a promise.” Ha Rin said emotionless.

“What promise?”

“That I should remember, he’ll be here waiting for me when I come back from Japan.” She stated.

“And you intend to keep that promise right?” I asked her in a positive tone.

Ha Rin was silent and just shrugged her shoulders. “I need to go to bed unnie, good night.” She said as she lay down and as usual she had closed her eyes to sleep that instant.

“I wish you’ll be able to keep that promise dongsaeng.” I said in a hopeful voice.
