No One’s POV

“I’ve had enough for one day. You can go back if you want.” Sungyeol expressed in irritation as he entered Myungsoo’s office with Dongwoo behind him.

“That depends Sungyeollie~” Dongwoo teased and closed the door.

“Ahem.” Myungsoo coughed as loud as possible which caught his friends’ attention.

“Ha Rin-ah! We didn’t notice you there.” Sungyeol said as he sat down on the couch and Ha Rin smiled as she was sitting on the chair in front of Myungsoo’s desk with her workbook on top of it.

“That’s quite obvious. You were busy quarreling. What happened?” Myungsoo asked with authority in his voice.

Dongwoo chuckled and sat beside Sungyeol. “Our Sungyeollie was in an argument with a little kid at the mall as usual.” Dongwoo explained.

Ha Rin giggled as Sungyeol pouted. “Could he be that childish?” She asked Myungsoo and he gave her a frustrated nod.

“It was the boy’s fault, I was inspecting the new toys displayed and he suddenly took it from me.” Sungyeol defended himself.

“More like playing.” Myungsoo and Dongwoo blurted out in unison and smirked at their dear friend.

“Same thing!” Sungyeol snapped.

There was a sudden knock on the door and Dongwoo opened it. Myungsoo’s secretary handed him a tray of sandwiches and drinks for them to share.

Dongwoo closed the door and placed the tray on the center table in front of the couch he was sitting on with Sungyeol.

“Perfect! I was hungry!” Ha Rin exclaimed as she stood up from her seat and took a sandwich from the tray.

“Ha Rin-ah, come. I’ll show you something.” Myungsoo called out kindly.

She obeyed quickly but took a halt. “Wait! If its just like the computations you had yesterday then nevermind.” Ha Rin warned.

“No, this is different. Come.” He persisted and gestured her to come closer with his hand.

Ha Rin sighed in loss and stood behind him as she fed him with her sandwich. Sungyeol and Dongwoo are watching them quietly as they eat the sandwiches in front of them.

“Should we really be this close in front of your friends?” Ha Rin whispered on his ear as she looked at the articles about their mall in Japan on Myungsoo’s laptop.

“Who cares? We were like this since yesterday anyway.” Myungsoo whispered back in a matter of fact tone as they both remembered the amazing day they had together.

“But what if—“

“Hey, don’t you guys know that whispering with other people around is kind of rude?” Sungyeol stated and gave Myungsoo and Ha Rin a narrowed look.

“I agree.” Dongwoo added and raised his eyebrow suspiciously.

Myungsoo and Ha Rin looked at each other then to Dongwoo and Sungyeol. “You’re right. Actually—“

Myungsoo was interrupted when his office door suddenly opened with his secretary standing by it.

“Mr. Kim, you have your scheduled meeting in a few minutes.” His secretary informed in a respectful tone.

As if on cue, Dongwoo and Sungyeol stood up from the couch at the same time. “Come on L, we have to go.” Dongwoo said and glanced at Ha Rin.

“Yeah I know. I have to leave too.” She stated.

Ha Rin was about to walk away from Myungsoo’s desk but he stood up from his chair and stopped her by holding onto her wrist tight.

She gave him a confused and reprimanding look aware of his friends’ presence. But he smirked instead and pecked her cheek.

“See you later at home Ha Rin-ah.” He said tenderly and shot her a smile.

“O-o-okay. Bye.” She stuttered as she was obviously caught off guard by his action.

As she went passed Dongwoo and Sungyeol, they exactly have the same shocked expression on their faces. Ha Rin lowered her head and went out of Myungsoo’s office and made her way to his house.

Myungsoo’s POV

“Thanks for treating us tonight, L.” Sungyeol exclaimed thankfully as he enjoyed his food here at the restaurant near our company building after our meeting.

“But what’s the occasion?” Dongwoo asked me inquisitively.

“Isn’t it obvious? Its to celebrate his and Ha Rin’s success in Japan!” Sungyeol expressed and smiled proudly at me.

Dongwoo smiled. “Yeah, who would have thought that you and Ha Rin really make a good team?” He said.

“Exactly! If you’re not committed, I won’t be surprise if you and Ha Rin will end up together.” Sungyeol said jokingly.

“But you’re right. We’re together.” I said firmly. They both choked on their food and gave me a horrified expression on their faces.

Sungyeol spoke up first. “That’s why… Earlier… You…” He trailed off in disbelief.

“I knew it. I had a hunch.” Dongwoo said in a serious tone.

“I figured I should tell you guys because you’re my best friends and I hope we could keep this as a secret between us for now. Until I—“

“Until you had finished your business with Hyuna, am I right?” Dongwoo questioned me.

I nodded. Don’t worry. I’m on your side dude.” Sungyeol said and gave me a high-five with a grin.

I smiled at him gratefully and turned to look at Dongwoo. He sighed and shot me a smile. “As you said, we’re bestfriends right?” He said and the three of us laughed.

“You look much happier when you’re with her than Hyuna. That’s one thing I’ve noticed ever since Ha Rin came back in your life.” Dongwoo blurted out.

“I agree! You should call Ha Rin. So we could celebrate together.” Sungyeol suggested with a big smile on his face.

I smirked as I got my phone from my pocket. “Come out now.” I said softly.

I stood up after a minute as she walked towards our table with a smile that I never get tired of seeing.

“You told them already?” She asked in a low voice as she stood beside me and I encircled my arm around her waist instinctively.

“Yeah, and we’re happy for the both of you.” Dongwoo said and grinned at Ha Rin.
