No One’s POV

“Why did you think of having a walk late a night at a short notice? I’m not even prepared for this.” Ha Rin complained as she walked along the streets of Japan holding hands with Myungsoo late at night.

“It’s New Year’s Eve. We have to go out and at least enjoy the night right? And it’s much more special now.” Myungsoo said and pulled her closely to him not wanting to let go of her hand.

Ha Rin giggled. “Okay.” She simply said since she’s undoubtedly enjoying her time with him anyway.

All the streets were decorated who it were supposed to be fitted for the Christmas holiday season with lights around the trees and people together with their families that has smiles plastered on their faces with excitement and joy.

The new couple walked their way to a bridge and Myungsoo halted at the center of it and breathed out heavily with a smile on his face.

“Why did we stop here?” Ha Rin asked curiously.

Myungsoo didn’t say anything and just gave her a wink. After a minute as the clock struck at exactly 12:00 fireworks began to shoot up the sky.

“WOW!” Ha Rin cheered loudly in admiration with both her eyes and mouth wide open as she clapped her hands together.

“This is beautiful!” Ha Rin stated in amusement and had a wide smile on her face.

Myungsoo faced and watched her feeling glad that he has finally see her smile again after such a long time.

He then turned her body carefully facing him. “What are we suppose to do next after this?” Myungsoo asked her.

Ha Rin thought for a moment. “I don’t know.” She said and pouted.

“This…” Myungsoo mumbled and leaned in again and began to kiss her softly and she responded in no time.

“Happy New Year Ha Rin-ah~” Myungsoo said and leaned his forehead onto hers.

“Happy New Year to you too oppa.” Ha Rin said and smiled.

“It’s my first time to hear you call me oppa again and I missed that.” He told her.

Ha Rin kept quiet and just smiled enjoying the moment. “You don’t know how happy I am that at last, we’ve confessed our true feelings for each other Ha Rin-ah.” Myungsoo stated in glee.

“I know and I feel the same way oppa. I’m really happy to be with you tonight.” Ha Rin stated hugged Myungsoo to hide her now flaming red cheeks.

“Thanks for that fireworks display oppa. I believe you’re the one who prepared that huh?” Ha Rin questioned him as they arrived back at their hotel suite.

“Of course it was me. That’s to show how special you are to me especially at a night like this.” He said proudly and grinned.

Ha Rin giggled. “Alright. I’ll just wash up okay? Promise me that you won’t disappear again. Promise?” She said and held out her pinky at him as she stood by the bathroom’s door.

Myungsoo smiled as he twirled his own pinky with hers. “Promise.” He said firmly.

After twenty minutes, Ha Rin came out the bathroom and surprised to see Myungsoo on top of her bed already in his pajamas smirking at her mischievously.

“Where did you wash up and change?” Ha Rin asked curiously still standing by the edge of the bed.

“I got a room for myself a week ago but I checked out at it just now because I know that I won’t need it anymore now, right jagiya?” Myungsoo stated teasingly and winked at her and pat the space beside him motioning her to sit down.

“Jagiya? Where did you get that now?” Ha Rin asked as she sat down on the bed keeping her laughter inside her.

“That’s how I want to call you from now on. Is that okay?” Myungsoo asked cautiously and looked at her battling his eyelashes.

Ha Rin looked back at him and smiled. “Who could resist that cuteness of yours oppa?” She asked him and pinched his cheek lightly.

“I know you couldn’t.” Myungsoo stated in triumphant.

Ha Rin yawned suddenly. “Time to sleep.” Myungsoo told her. And without a double take Ha Rin laid down comfortably ready to sleep in no time.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” Myungsoo asked with a hint of disappointment.

“What is it?” Ha Rin mumbled not bothered to sit up again.

“Alright. Never mind. Good night.” Myungsoo said monotonously and laid down afterwards facing the wall and his back facing Ha Rin.

“I was just kidding. Good night oppa.” Ha Rin said and pecked his cheek good night.

Myungsoo smiled feeling satisfied and as he peeked to check Ha Rin after a minute, the girl she loves is already at her dream land.

“I love you Ha Rin. Good night.” He said in a whisper and kissed her forehead and drifted off to sleep afterwards.
