AN: Okay, this is my last fanfic that I'll post for a long time, the reason for writing this is that I remembered reading a fic with a similar storyline to this.. Years ago maybe? xD And I just couldn't forget how my imagination wanted to work it out.. Creepy, eh?

Also, if you've read/written a similar story on AFF, I am sorry.. I read that fic on a Hungarian site, not here, I just had a busy week and strange memories surfaced. So no, I am not trying to copy anyone's story^^

Main Characters:

Kim Kibum a.k.a Key

A 17 year old boy who had been diagnosed with a rare and serious illness. When he was fifteen, the doctors told him that there was no hope for him to survive. He knows that he is going to die soon if a miracle doesn't happen, but he wants to believe that it will. He left his hometown when he was 15, and now he decided to move back. He doesn't want his friends to recognize him though because he doesn't want them to be sad. He had changed a lot since he'd left, and he wants to live happily until he dies.

Kim Jonghyun (18)

Jonghyun used to be Key's boyfriend. He was really scared and mad when the other disappeared. He swore to forget him, but he can still remember the younger. He never knew about Key's illness.

Lee Taemin (16)

Key's best friend and 'son'. He knew about Key being ill, and he thinks that the other had died. He is really cute and innocent, almost too innocent.

Choi Minho (17)

A friend of Taemin, he never really cared about what happened to Key since he'd loved Taemin and he thought that Key and Taemin secretly loved each other. He did know about Key being sick though..  He never truly hated Key, he was just jealous.

Going back wasn't my parents' decision. It wasn't because I was feeling slightly better since my head still hurt a lot. It wasn't because I had some hope of surviving this. No. It was because I knew that I would die soon, and I wanted a happy death, surrounded by my friends.

Of course, they wouldn't know it's me. I have changed. I am not the cute, scared-looking boy who I used to be. I have confidence, I know that I am beautiful. People call me a 'diva' I don't care what they call me, I don't care what they think of me. What matters is that I like being like this.
