Episode 9: A Brotherhood Develops

“Seonho!!!” It was Song Hyun, Mu-Ryong, Hye Mi and Hae-young shouting.

Also, at the same time, from the left side, Joon Se’s friends came running towards him as well.

“Joon Se!”

“Hyo Eun was the first to arrive near him.

“Can you stand? Is there anything broken?” she asked.

Before he answered, he could stand up (Since the student landed on their backs so you could imagine how they were positioned. Well, actually, the two bumped into each other so Seonho was below Joon Se while the student was on top of him.), the student got off him first. Now that he was able to stand up, he was being attended to by his friends mostly by Hyo Eun but, he immediately walked towards Seonho who was being helped by his friends and did the same thing.

“Dong-saeng, are you okay?” he asked.

“Neh, Your…”

“Aigoo, just call me Joon Se okay?”

“Araseo.” Seonho answered with a smile.

“Seonho, are you hurt? No, let’s go to the clinic right now!” said Song Hyun.

“No I’m fine! Just a little hurt on my back but I think I can still manage to walk.”

“I see. You three, come with me to my office.” It was the Principal!

“Neh.” answered the two.

 In the Principal’s office…

First, she talked (yes, she’s a woman) to the student who fell and told him to tell his classmates she would be talking to them and their adviser later.  Next, once the student thanked Joon Se and Seonho and left, it was time for her to talk to the two.

“What you did you two was the first time in this school’s history! But please, especially Your Highness, don’t ever do something like that again okay?”

“Just Joon Se ma’am and I just wanted to help a while ago so that’s why I did that. I… I don’t want to see someone die or disappear again before my very eyes.”

“I understand. As for you Mr. Kim, the same thing! Your parents would have been scared to death if anything happened to you! I promised them that I would look after you!”

“But ma’am, I just also wanted to help. That’s all. Sorry for making you worry though.”

“Aigoo… Anyway, because of what you two did, I am awarding to both of you the Student of the Month Award!”

“Really?!”

“Yes, yes but, are you two sure you’re both alright?”

“Neh. We are.”

“Good then! Well, off you go back to your classes. I’ll be formally awarding the award to you two on Friday.”

The two then got out of the Principal’s office and went on their way.

“Dong-saeng, are you sure you’re alright? I mean you were right below me!”

“Neh! I am! Please don’t worry. The pain in my back has already gone down so I’m okay.”

“Araseo. So um, how are you after what happened yesterday?” asked Joon Se.

“I’m fine. I’m not holding any revenge or grudge against Hyo Eun.”

“I see. Anyway, I would like to apologize on behalf of Hyo Eun. I’ve known her and her family since we were little and I hate to tell you but she’s been like that to the poor and I hope I’m not offending you when I said that!”

“Hahaha! Of course! Don’t worry! Me and my family aren’t like that. It’s okay Hyung.”

“Good then. As you know, her family runs the Kang Foundation which helps the poor. Me and my other friends are just as well as confused on why her attitude towards you guys are exactly the opposite.”

“Oh, so that’s why. “

“Yep so, I think it would be best if you and your friends try to avoid her if possible. I’m sure she’s planning something bad for you and Song Hyun again. If she tries to do anything to you or your friends just call me and the others okay?”

“Araseo! But, why are you helping someone like me? I mean you barely know me Hyung.”

“Nothing, it’s just that, well, all of Korea knows that my younger brother, Imperial Prince Tae Hoon is missing right? I guess, maybe, well, if you could be…”

“Be your pretend little brother?” asked Seonho.

“Neh. Well? Will you agree?”

“Well, I couldn’t say no to someone like you so yes!”

“Really? Haha! Then Dong-saeng, see you later this lunch time then!”
