Episode 37: The Return To Seoul
My Brother Is The Prince?!
Episode 37: The Return To Seoul
“Your Majesty! Isn’t that very dangerous?!” asked Ms. Jang.
“We won’t know what might happen if we did that!” said Commander Im.
“Your Majesty, I’d advise you to not go with that plan! It’s far too dangerous as what Ms. Jang implied!” said Prime Minister Jin.
“AND WHAT?! What do you want me to do then?! Just sit here and do nothing while my younger brother plays footsie with Kim Jong-un? While he plays with the minds of our own people?! THIS HAS TO END RIGHT NOW!”
Everyone was speechless. No one would dare to talk. A great and creeping silence filled the entire room.
“Yah, Ahpha, calm down will ya?” said JoonSe.
“Don’t get mad. We’re all just worried to what might happen to you.” said Tae Hoon.
“ Mianhae everyone. You see, I live by some simple words, the famous words which was said by former US President John F. Kennedy. He said: “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.” And that’s what I’m doing. So, are we all in this together?”
“YES!” shouted everyone.
“So, what’s the plan Your Majesty?” asked Commander Im.
“Well, since most of our allies are in Seoul we would need them to secure the entire city. Commander Im and Director Ryu, it would really help if some of your men would be part of this. Do you think you would be able to contact some of them to help us?”
“YES YOUR MAJESTY!” shouted the two men.
“Then please contact them now. Of course, before the city is secured, we should have been able to get inside already. Once we have, we shall first need a base but is somehow close to Changdeokgung Palace.”
“Oh! How about our cafe?!” shouted Dong Wook.
“He’s right Ahpah! Their cafe is near the palace! It’s of walking distance only!” said Tae Hoon.
“Then that will be our base then! We shall execute our plan in the dark hours of the night. Right now, we should prepare ourselves before going back to Seoul. Everyone, goodluck!”
“YEAH!”
The rest of the day, they prepared everything and theirselves for their journey back to Seoul. It was agreed by everyone that their mode of transportation would be riding in the Jang’s private plane which would land in a small runway somewhere in the outskirts of Seoul. Then, once they have entered the city secretly, the Imperial Guards and KCIA personnel who are loyal to the former government would then secure the entrances and exits of the city. Once they have reached Dong Wook’s cafe, they would set up base there and from there, they would call upon all their allies, supporters and friends to help them start a nationwide protest against Emperor Dong Hwan’s government. With Seoul in turmoil, they would be able to attack Changdeokgung Palace and get inside. Of course, the emperor have ordered some of the protests to be directly in front of Changdeokgung Palace itself so that guards would be able to rush in and protect the entrance. (While this is being told, the plan is already happening.)
As the nationwide protests starts, Emperor Dong Hwan was alerted in Changdeokgung Palace. At that time, Kim Jong-un was also there with him. (He’s such a freeloader!)
“So, Your Majesty, it looks like you’ve got some problems in your hands.” said the North Korean leader.
“Don’t worry. I’ve got this all under control. I’ve already told my Prime Minister that this protests must only be confined in Seoul so...”
Then, a knock was heard on the door.
“Yes? Please come in.”
An Imperial Guard came in and saluted before the two leaders.
“Your Majesty, we have a problem.”
“And what is it about? If it’s about the protests, then I knwo it already. I’ve already told our Prime Minister to make sure that they’re only confined here in Seoul.”
“That’s just it Your Majesty, it hasn’t been confined here in Seoul. It has spread all over here in the South! From Jeju to Busan, from Incheon to Daegu! Everywhere!”
“MWO?!! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?! CALL PRIME MINISTER CHOI RIGHT NOW TO COME HERE!!! ALONG WITH THE ENTIRE GOVERNMENT!!! NOW!!!”
“Yes Your Majesty!”
“Aish! How?! HOW?!”
“Your Majesty, now that our country has been reunified, how about I give you a helping hand in this problem? Well?” asked Kim Jong-un.
“Very well then! I shall be entirely grateful to you! I shall take my leave then. I would be at Seonjeongjeon Hall.”
“I will follow after just a quick phonecall.”
After Emperor dong Hwan left, Kim Jong-un reached for the phone and called someone in the North. (Because the country has been reunified, phone lines has now been connected to the North and South)
“Yeoboseyo? Yes, it is I. The perfect time has come. My grandfather and father’s dream would finally be fulfilled. Begin now.”
Meanwhile, a hge protest greeted the government officials who were coming inside Changdeokgung Palace.
“STEP DOWN DONG HWAN! STEP DOWN!”
“ALL HAIL EMPEROR GOJO!”
“END THIS FALSE REUNIFICATION!”
“DOWN WITH THE NORTH!”
Those were just some of what the protesters were shouting. The Imperial Guards were all holding them back from reaching the palace and this was all happening at the front. At the back, it was a different story. Five Imperial Guards and five KCIA spies have just entered the palace from the back. With them are Crown Prince JoonSe, Imperial Prince Tae Hoon, Sun Joon, SongHyun, Mu-Ryong, HyeMi, Hae-young, Dong Wook, Seung Ryong, Jeong Hoon, HyoEun, HyeRi, Min Young & HyeJung.
The battle that shall decide the fate of Korea has now begun...
