Episode 25: Murder At Jeju Island

The two girls both looked at each other for a while but then looked away again. So, HyoEun opened the door and entered but not before closing the door so as to not let SongHyun enter!

“Aish! That girl!”

“HyoEun!” shouted JoonSe.

“Oppa!” HyoEun immediately ran towards him and hugged JoonSe!

“Hey! Easy! I thought you were still sick?!”

HyoEun didn’t answer but just continued hugging him. SongHyun then enters the room still mad at what HyoEun did. HyoEun then sees Tae Hoon who raised his hand to say hi so, she let go of JoonSe and approached him.

“Uh oh! Here she goes again!” said Mu-Ryong.

HyoEun and Tae Hoon stood there looking at each other with latter confused at what she’s looking at him for. Then, she hugs him.

SongHyun’s blood was boiling inside her! “That girl! The nerve! Aish!”

“HyoEun… what’s the matter…”

“You were right SeonHo! He… he’s gone! Yunjae’s really gone!” HyoEun begins to cry again so JoonSe went towards them, removed her from hugging Tae Hoon and hugged her.

“HyoEun, I’m sorry.”

“W…why?”

“I… I knew all this time that he really was gone but, it was very hard for me not to tell you. Also, according to his mother, it was his last wish, for you not to cry…”

“Yunjae… Yunjae!!!”

“Um, Tae Hoon, who’s Yunjae?” asked Hae-young.

So of course, he proceeds to tell everyone about Yunjae and the connection he has with Hyoeun and JoonSe.

“So, he was your cousin as well as best friends with JoonSe and HyoEun?! Woah!” said Hye Jung.

“HyoEun, I’ll just get you a glass of water for you to drink. I’ll be right back.” said JoonSe. He leaves while HyoEun sits on Tae Hoon’s bed. She is approached by Sun Joon.

“HyoEun! So babe, how’s it going? Did you miss me?”

“Sun Joon?! What are you doing here?! Aish! Yah! What is he doing here?!”

“I don’t understand…”

“Well, it’s just that, me and HyoEun are in love with each other!” said Sun Joon.

“You wish! You’re the only one who’s in love! You very well know who I love!”

“Me!”

“NO!!!”

Everyone was now laughing at the two!

“So HyoEun, are you good now with Seon… I mean Tae Hoon?” asked SongHyun.

“Hmm, I guess so. Tae Hoon, I would like to apologize for all the things I did to you back then. The fact that you and Yunjae looked so alike has changed me so, be assured that I won’t harm or tease you in any way anymore. So, friends?”

“Sure! Friends!” As a gesture of friendship, they both hugged each other which made SongHyun’s blood boil again!

“Also, I would like to apologize to you too as well SongHyun.” HyoEun said as she let go of Tae Hoon. “For all the teasing and remarks I told you since then. When I think about it, we could’ve been good friends for a long time!”

“HyoEun…”

“Well SongHyun? Are we friends?”

“A… araseo…” Of course, like Tae Hoon, she hugged her as well. JoonSe then arrived and learned what just happened. He was very happened that they were all friends now and so their party continued. He told everyone how much Sun Joon likes Hyoeun so much that it really made everyone laugh!

Somewhere in Seoul…

“I want that man killed no matter what! Do you understand?!”

“Sir, yes sir!”

Eventually of course, it was late already and everybody starts going home. JoonSe and Tae Hoon’s friends thanked them both for the invitation and then they left. Sun Joon and his mom, Ms. Jang Hae Sook said goodbye to the Imperial Family and went home. Later in his room, after saying goodnight to his family and brushing his teeth, Prince Tae Hoon goes to his bed to sleep during his first night at the Palace and, as a Prince.

Somewhere in Jeju Island…

Mysterious shadows were lurking in a tea farm. They were approaching a lone house just right beside the farm itself.

Inside…

“Nado Lovey Dovey Dovey! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!”  Hahaha! Songs these days! Now, time to do my things-to-do-before-going-to-sleep!”

The man grabs a small journal from nearby desk and places it under the sink and locks it with a key. Then, closes all his curtains, turns off all the lights and then goes to sleep. Meanwhile, the mysterious shadows earlier have now surrounded his house and then, they busted inside of it!

“Wha… what?! Oh no! They found me! I must keep that journal safe!” The man quickly jumped out of his bed and went towards the kitchen, grabs the key from his pocket and when he was about to unlock the part below the sink, he heard that those who broke inside have gotten closer!

“Aish! There’s no time! What now?!” With the key on his right hand, he tries to go back to his bedroom when he gets spotted by someone all dressed in black!

“Guys! There he is! Grab him!”

“No! No! Noooo!!!”

A little later, he is dragged by the mysterious men outside his house and into the tea farm. While being dragged, he accidentally lets go of the key on the ground which he didn’t notice! Once at the farm itself, they chained his hands and feet and then they beat him up so badly that his face is covered in blood!

“Wha… what do you want from me?!”

“Nothing! Well, except we have orders for you to be gone Mr. Im! Anneyong!”

“No! Please wait! Nooooo…” Gunshots echoed throughout the whole island… The men quickly leave while the dead body of Mr. Im was left at the very center of the tea farm itself.

The next morning…

“A man has been found dead at the very center of the Kang Tea Farm at Jeju Island. His hands and feet were both chained and…”

The whole nation was watching the news. Although JoonSe and Tae Hoon don’t know the connection of this man with them, Emperor Gojo, Prince Dong Hwan, Princess Che-Rin, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Kim and Mr. and Mrs. Kang know.

“Prince Dong Hwan, please announce to the Imperial Council to postpone today’s awarding ceremony, and also, surround the Kim Residence with some of our Imperial Guards. They may be in grave danger.”

“Of course Your Majesty!”

“Ahpah…” Tae Hoon and JoonSe were both looking at their dad with confusion. “What’s going on?”
