Episode 31: Escape From The Palace!

Tae Hoon and the others were brought inside the Palacewith their hands all tied up. They were brought into at the Seonjeongjeon Hall where the others were.

“Oemma!” shouted Sun Joon.

“Sun Joon! Let go of my son you fools!” shouted Ms. Jang.

“Silence! Mr. Choi or should I say Prime Minister Choi, please tie up the hands of our former Emperor and his aides!” shouted Prince Dong Hwan at the man holding Tae Hoon.

“Prime Minister?! Dong Hwan! How dare you! This country already has a Prime Minister and that is Jin Jung Hwan!” shouted Emperor Gojo!

“With pleasure… Your Majesty!” Mr. Choi and some of his men proceeded to tie up the hands of Emperor Gojo, Commader Im and Director Ryu when, the commader and director all brought out their guns and pointed it at Prince Dong Hwan and Mr. Choi so…

“Do you really think that this little plan of yours would work?” Prince Dong Hwan motioned Mr. Choi so, what happened next was Mr. Choi and his men were all directing their guns to the Emperor, Ms. Jang, Commander Im, Director Ryu as well as Tae Hoon, JoonSe, HyoEun, SongHyun and Sun Joon!

“You’re vastly outnumbered my dear brother. What are you going to do?” asked Prince Dong Hwan as he sat on the chair normally reserved only for the Emperor.

Finally, the hands of the Emperor, Ms. Jang and the commander and director were all tied up.

“Now then, lock them up in my dear nephew Tae Hoon’s room. Go! Make sure they are well guarded!”

“Yes Your Majesty!”

“Uncle! How could you?! Where are the Imperial Guards?! Mr. Kwon and Ms. Song?! Where are they?!” shouted JoonSe.

“Oh them? They would be having a new Emperor to serve. There’s my answer nephew.”

“Dong Hwan! Why are you doing this?! You very well know that I was the Crown Prince back then! And whpever holds that position is to become Emperor!”

“Silence you fool! Yes that may be true but I have always been a second fiddle! I am always behind you! Always at your shadow! Well, I’ve had enough of it! Get them out of my sight! Mr. Choi, please call your new ministers for we will be having a meeting here.”

“Yes Your Majesty!”

The Emperor and the others were then brought into Tae Hoon’s room. Inside, Mr. and Mrs. Kim’s hands were also tied up and they were sitting on the bed.

“Tae Hoon!” they both shouted!

“Oemma! Ahpah!”

The men who brought them there then pushed them inside and then locked them inside the room!

“Those jerks! How dare they do this to all of us!” said HyoEun.

“Sun Joon! Are you okay? Did they hurt you?!” worried asked Ms. Jang.

“Neh Oemma!  I’m fine! How about you?!”

“Tae Hoon! JoonSe! Are you both alright?!” asked the Emperor, also worried.

“Ahpah! We should be the one asking you that!” said JoonSe.

“Yes we are! They only tied up our hands. Well, it seems everyone is alright… My Oemma and Ahpah are fine too.” said Tae Hoon.

“Oh no! Your Majesty! Prime Minister Jin is coming here right now! How are we going to warn him?!” asked Commander Im.

“Someone check the windows and see if there are some of Dong Hwan’s men outisde.” ordered the Emperor to which Mr. Kim did. Once hwas able to stand up, he carefully looked outside and saw there were men whose clothes were the same as those of the men who tied them all up.

“Your Majesty! It’s no use! They are on the ground as well!”

“What are we going to do now Ahpah?” asked JoonSe.

Outside the room, someone arrived and told the men guarding the room to leave because they were called by Prince Dong Hwan. Then, the person quickly opened the door and closed it once inside.

“Che-Rin! Don’t tell me you’re in cahoots with your husband!”

“Well, sadly, you’re mistaken. I’m not in cahoots with him! I don’t even know what he’s planning and thinking! Believe me please!”

“Then why are you here then?” asked Ms. Jang.

“I’m here to sneak you all out! Gojo, it’s time to use the library.”

“Ah yes! You’re right!”

“Ahpah, what do you mean?” asked Tae Hoon.

“You see everyone, on before the preceeding Emperor dies or abdicate he shows his heir a secret passage from the library leading to the car garage.”

“Then how come you know this aunt Che-Rin?” asked JoonSe.

“Well, I was with him back then when he was shown the passage back then! Oh don’t worry! Dong Hwan was sick at that time so he doesn’t know about the passage! We have no time! Let’s move!”

“Um, uh, can you please first let us free from these ropes then?” asked SongHyun.

“Oh right! Silly me!”

“But what about Prime Minister Jin?!” asked Commander Im.

“I have already informed him of what happened. He’s waiting at the Kang Residence as of now.” said Princess Che-Rin as she unties the Emperor.

“He’s at our place?! Really?!” asked HyoEun.

“But, what about you Che-Rin?” asked Emperor Gojo.

“I would be staying here then. I have to find a way to manipulate Dong Hwan into thinking that someone let you guys free. Now, let’s move!”

Once they were all free, they carefully and silently went out of the room quickly went into the library. They successfully avoided all the men patrolling the hallways!

“So, where’s the secret passage then?” asked Sun Joon.

“Here, just behind this wall. Now, then, please help me push this wall in this side so that it will rotate.” They all pushed together the wall backward and amazingly, it really rotated to reveal a secret passage behind it!

“Let’s go everyone! Move! Ppalli!” said Commader Im.

At the same time, Prince Dong Hwan’s meeting was over and heads over to the room of Tae Hoon. When he saw that the guards he posted there was gone, he was concerned so, when he opens the door, he couldn’t believe what he saw!

“GUARDS! FIND THEM AT ONCE! DON’T LET THEM ESCAPE!”

“Once you arrive at the garage, Mr. Shin and four Imperial Guards are waiting for you there! Mr. Kwon and Ms. Song as well as another four Imperial Guards have safely escaped just a while ago! They are also at the Kang Residence right now. Everyone, I wish you all the best!”

“Che-Rin, thank you very much!” The Emperor then hugged her and then ran off. JoonSe and Tae Hoon did the same thing and then ran to catch up with the others. Then, the wall turned around again. Princess Che-Rin then quickly gets a book from one of the shelves and then sits down to pretend that she is reading. Prince Dong Hwan then angrily marches inside the library!

“Che-Rin! Why did you tell the guards posted at Tae Hoon’s room to go away?! You told them that I was calling for them!”

“What are you saying Dong Hwan?! I was here the whole time reading this book! How dare you accuse me!”

Meanwhile, Tae Hoon and the others were quickly running inside the passage. Finally, they saw the other end and when they opened it, Mr. Shin and four Imperial Gaurds were there!

“Your Majesty! Your Highnesses! Are you all alright?!”

“Yes but we must go now!”

They all boarded the car (amazingly, they all fit inside!) and the car’s engine started and… they zoomed across the palace grounds! This caught the attention of the men outaide and started shooting at the car! Fortunately, they were able to get out safely and so, they went to their destination: the Kang Residence. As this was going on, Prince Dong Hwan was watchingfrom the library and: “You may all have escaped but! I will find you! No matter what!
