My Brother Is The Prince?!

Episode 1: Ambush!

The year was 1994.

“Your Majesties, the cars are now waiting outside.”

“Really? They’re early today. Come now dear oh and how are the kids?”

“They have just woken up. How are you my cute Joon Se? Oh you’re so cute my little Tae Hoon!”

Meet the Korean Imperial Family- Emperor Yi Gojo, his wife Empress Yi Haewon and their sons Crown Prince Yi Joon Se (older) and Imperial Prince Yi Tae Hoon (younger). Right now, they are leaving Deoksugung Palace in Seoul to head for Gimpo International Airport because they would be going to Japan for a state visit.

As the Imperial Guards and the Palace Maids help the Imperial Family get inside the car, somewhere in Seoul…

“So, is everything ready?”

“Yes sir, everything is ready. Everyone’s in position as well.”

“Good. Expect the money to come to you a little later.”

“Thank you sir. You won’t regret it.”

With the Imperial Family inside, they were all set to go. As their car went outside the palace complex, huge crowds of people were cheering on both sides of the road! There were five identical cars (or limousines if you will) with numerous security escorts on each side.

“Hahaha! Look my dear! Their cheering is making them laugh!” said the Emperor.

“Aww! Oh honey, I hope our two boys grow up to be fine Princes just like their dad.” says the Empress.

“Of course! Hahaha!”

A short distance from the airport in a road in which the Imperial Family would be passing through, the police started making the people leave an area of the road. When asked, they said they received some reports about ambushing the Imperial Family once they are in that road. Finally, that area has now been cleared of all people except for those inside nearby buildings but what’s interesting is that all those buildings have policemen stationed outside, something which made the people curious, confused and anxious.

The Imperial Family’s line of cars consisted of five cars, the first contains several palace maids and bodyguards, the second are all bodyguards, the third has the Emperor, Empress, the two Princes, a palace maid and two bodyguards (remember, they’re in limousines so there’s a lot of room), the fourth are all palace maids while the fifth are all Imperial Guards. On each side were security escorts spanning the entire length of the line of cars.

On the area mentioned earlier, the police started lining up each side of the road. It made the people more and more anxious. The cars of the Imperial Family were now in their sight.

“Everyone get ready. No dawdling! Got that?!” shouted one of the policemen who was apparently their commander.

“Sir, yes sir!” shouted everyone.

As the cars passes by, gunshots, a lot of which everyone inside the cars as well as those inside the buildings and those outside heard.

The police were shooting at the line of cars! They were exchanging fire with the Imperial Guards and bodyguards!

Inside the third car…

“Your Majesties! Please all crouch down! Your safety as well as the Princes’ safety is what matters here!” said palace maid which they all did. The two bodyguards with them (the driver and another one) were on the left and right sides of the car shooting at the policemen because apparently, all the escorts with them were all down! When the palace maid looked on both sides, she both saw the two shot directly on the chest and they both fell down! Seconds later, the policemen hav now taken control of all five cars and they began moving again!

“Let us out this instant! I demand to know who you are and who gave this orders!” shouted the Emperor.

“Your Majesty please calm down because everything will reveal itself in due time.” said the policeman driving their car.

“Oh why is this happening to us?  Let us out this instant!” shouted the Empress.

“Of course we will let you out, once we have the two Princes and the rest of you dead.”

“WHAT?!”
