Episode 24: Her Return

The young man of course, went inside the room after closing the door. Then, he formally introduced himself.

“My name is Jang Sun Joon. I’m the son of one of the members of the Imperial Council, Ms. Jang Hae Sook. It’s nice to meet you all.” said Sun Joon as he bowed his head.

“I see. Nice to meet you!” said Tae Hoon.

“Dong-saeng, he’s just the same age as you are. You two should be able to get along very well!” said JoonSe.

“By the way JoonSe, where’s HyoEun? I don’t see her here.”

“HyoEun has a fever so she can’t come.”

“That’s too bad then. So guys, what are you all doing?”

Outside the palace, a car has just arrived. Then, its doors opened and the first to come out was a couple, a husband and wife.

“My dear daughter, are you sure you don’t have any fever anymore?” asked the man.

“Neh Ahpah.”

“Aigoo! Well, we’re here anyway but, once you feel bad, come to us immediately okay?” Do you understand HyoEun?”

“Neh Oemma.”

The three then goes inside and greets the Emperor.

“Mr. and Mrs. Kang! HyoEun my dear! Good for all three of you to come! But wait! HyoEun, I thought you have a fever?” said Emperor Gojo.

“I’m alright now Your Majesty.”

“That’s good then! Why don’t you all eat? HyoEun, my sons are at Tae Hoon’s room. Would you like to see them?”

“Yes Your Majesty.”

“Mr. Kwon! Kindly Ms. HyoEun to Tae Hoon’s room please.” While Mr. Kwon escorts her, Mr. and Mrs. Kang were both escorted personally by the Emperor himself towards the food. Then, an Imperial Guard arrives and tells the Emperor something.

“Araseo! Mr. and Mrs. Kang, if you will, please excuse me. Some certain guests have arrived.”

“Why of course Your Majesty! Please do meet them.”

The Imperial Guard leads the Emperor towards the gate and standing there is none other than Mr. and Mrs. Kim!

“Mr. and Mrs. Kim! I’m so happy that you could come! Please come over here!”

“Good evening Your Majesty! It’s very nice of you to invite us here!” said Mr. Kim.

“Why of course! You two are the ones responsible for bringing up my son Tae Hoon into a fine young man! Also, I would like to talk to you two about something but first, please, have some dinner first! Hahaha!”

“Why thank you Your Majesty!” said Mrs. Kim.

He escorted them towards the food and when they and the Kang family saw each other, they were both surprised!

“Why Mr. and Mrs. Kang! It’s very nice to see you! Your Majesty, the Kang Family has been very kind to us since we met them back then!”

“Ah! Your families have known each for a long time! Hahaha! That’s good then!”

“Mr. and Mrs. Kim! Who would’ve known that your son Kim SeonHo was really the missing Pirnce Tae Hoon!” said Mr. Kang.

“It may be awkward but, we’ll tell you the truth but first, Your Majesty, what would you like to talk to us about?” asked Mr. Kim.

“Ah yes! Because you have cared for my son Tae Hoon all these years and protected him, me, as well as the Imperial Family and Imperial Council and the government have decided to award to both of you the Grand Order of Sejong the Great! The ceremony would be tomorrow! Tae Hoon still doesn’t know this but I’ll be telling it to him later. Well? Would you be accepting the award?”

“We… we don’t know what to say Your Majesty! It’s an honor! Yes! Yes we will accept the award!”

“Mr. and Mrs. Kang! Finally you’re both here!” A woman said as she approached the group.

“Ah yes! Ms. Jang Hae Sook! It has been a while! Hahaha!” said Mr. Kang.

“You look stunning in that dress!” said Mrs. Kang.

“Hahaha! Oh spare me the compliments! Hahaha! Your Majesty, if I may so but, theses two are Mr. and Mrs. Kim right?” asked Ms. Hae Sook.

“Yes! Hahaha! Mr. and Mrs. Kim, I would like you to meet Ms. Jang Hae Sook, a member of the Imperial Council and was the one who suggested that you two be awarded!”

“Oh! Well, it’s very nice to meet you Ms. Jang!” said Mr. Kim.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you! You look so gorgeous!” said Ms. Kim.

“Hahaha! Thank you very much for your compliments! Your Majesty, you have told them about the award right?”

“Yes! They said they would accept it!”

“That’s great then! Now, please do enjoy yourselves!”

Then, Prince dong Hwan tells something to the Emperor which seems to be something very much important.

“I see. Mr. Kim, would you please come with us? It’s about that matter we discussed last time.” said the Emperor.

“Ah yes! Of course Your Majesty.”

“Mr. Kang, we would also like you to come as well. Mrs. Kang, please do keep Mrs. Kim some company. This would be not long.”

“I understood Your Highness. Mrs. Kim, come with me. You have to tell me everything that has happened since we last met.” said Mrs. Kang.

“Yes of course!”

Emperor Gojo, Prince Dong Hwan, Mr. Kang and Mr. Kim all went inside the Palace and into Seonjeongjeon Hall where inside, the KCIA Chief, Chief Ryu and the Commander of the Special Espionage Division of the Imperial Guards, Commander Im were both waiting for the group to arrive.

“Your Majesty!” they both said.

“So, what have we got?” he asked.

“We have located the location of Mr. Im’s current residence.” said Chief Ryu. (TAKE NOTE: MR. IM AND COMMANDER IM ARE BOTH DIFFERENT PEOPLE. SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION)

“Really?! Is that true! Where?!”

“Your Majesty, he’s currently living in Jeju Island and he’s a farmer right now.” said Commander Im.

“Well then, I commend you all! Job well done!” said the Emperor.

“Your Highness, if I may ask, what is my purpose here?” asked Mr. Kang.

“Mr. Kang, you’re here because it turns out, Mr. Im is working on one of your company’s tea farms.” said Prince Dong Hwan.

“So, Mr. Kang, we would like you if possible, by tomorrow, please tell him that Imperial Guards would be escorting him here to Seoul. Also, tell him he’s not under arrest or anything but we would only like to question him about some things.”

“I see then. Araseo. I will.”

“Thank you for your cooperation.”

“At about what time will he be arriving here?” asked Mr. Kim.

“We’re still discussing it sir but the tentative schedule of his arrival here is at 1PM.”

“Mr. Kim, the awarding ceremony would be held at Gyeongbok Palace at 10AM tomorrow. We would also like you and your wife to be at the KCIA Headquarters when Mr. Im arrives from Jeju. Me and His Majesty would be both there as well.” said Prince Dong Hwan.

“We would be flying him in a helicopter and he would be landing at the KCIA’s helipad.”

“Okay then. Thank you all for everything. Please, do enjoy the night. Mr. Kim and Mr. Kang, let’s go. Prince Dong Hwan, are you coming?”

“Ah yes but I have to go to my room first. I have to get something.”

“Araseo. Let’s go back to your wives then.” said the Emperor as he, Mr. Kim and Mr. Kang as well as Chief Ryu and Commander Im go outside.

The comfort room door opens and out comes SongHyun.

“That was some room! It’s bigger than my room!”

As she walks towards Tae Hoon’s room, at the end of the hallway, someone arrives and SongHyun sees her.

“No way, HyoEun?”

“SongHyun?”
