The class turned quiet as he entered the room. Everyone’s eyes were on him. Myungsoo didn’t take any initiative to explain for himself. On the contrary, he shrugged everything off and sauntered flawlessly to his seat.

Ji Eun was itching to drag him out for interrogation. You were on the same situation as Ji Eun but there is someone whom you want to interrogate more.

“ ~~~ - ssi?” The English teacher, Miss Lee Chae Rin called out your name. Apparently, class has started but your head was just too preoccupied that you are failing to be aware it has.

You stood awkwardly, not knowing what her question was. You looked at Ji Eun for help and she willingly mouthed the question. You translated the sentence on the board successfully and slumped on your seat afterward, returning to your previous passive state.

When the bell rang, Ji Eun immediately dragged you out of the room. On the way, she also grabbed Myungsoo who was on his way to the school cafeteria.

“You two owe me an explanation.” Ji Eun crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow.

“So, are you finally talking to me from now on?” Myungsoo asked warily.

Ji Eun rolled her eyes. “Just spit the explanation out, okay?”

“I don’t have any idea how he got to Jaejoong’s penthouse.” You admitted honestly.

Myungsoo sighed. “I was on the same route as hers so I was basically just behind her and Hyojin. Then I noticed someone was following ~~~. I didn’t know he was Jaejoong. He shoved ~~~ in a car, I thought she was kidnapped. I was utterly surprised when I tailed his car by a taxi and ended up in front of a luxury apartment building. Just minutes after I arrived, tv station vans started appearing then I knew at once there was something fishy going on. I checked the news articles online and found out about the showbiz headline. It was then that I realized that it was ~~~ and Jaejoong on the news article.” He narrated and paused to look at you.

“I concluded the reporters were there to confirm and question Jaejoong about the girl’s identity. I figured I need to help ~~~ and so I protected her.” Myungsoo finished.

“By freaking showing up and hugging her. Way to go, now another issue’s up.” Ji Eun clapped sarcastically.

“Yah, for all you know my career is at stake too. I sacrificed my image too you know.” Myungsoo defended.

“You could have just stayed out of it!” Ji Eun retaliated.

“Stop, okay. It’s in the past. We should be thanking Myungsoo for what he has done.” You went between them and placed a hand of each of their shoulder.
