“Yah ~~~, Where the hell are you?” Ji Eun’s voice was immediate and worried.

“I’m on the way to the training with Hyojin, why?”

“Oh no. NO NO  NO NO!!!!” You clearly heard panic from Ji Eun’s words.

“Why, what’s the matter?” Now you’re beginning to worry. Ji Eun is rarely serious and at times like that, the situation is extremely out of hand.

“Quit training right now. God, why is this happening? Just, just…don’t attend! Check the news-” You could sense Ji Eun was pacing back and forth and biting her nails as usual when she’s nervous.

“Just tell me what’s happ-“ The line got cut before you could even continue your sentence. Perfect. That’s handy. You thought to yourself sarcastically.

“What’s up?” Hyojin asked, pertaining to the phone call.

“You go first. I’ll catch up. Ji Eun was caught in some trouble, I think.” There was urgency in your voice. Ji Eun realy sounded problematic.

“Arasseo. Don’t be late, okay?” Hyojin went ahead and boarded the bus.

Just as you were about to dial Ji Eun’s number, your phone buzzed again.

All the glumness drained from your body and was replaced by a weird thrill. It has been so long since he last called you. You unconsciously stared at your phone wordlessly. But then you realized all of a sudden that you shouldn’t be feeling enthusiastic about this. You long contemplated on whether answering the call or not.

“Yah, are you not going to answer your phone?” A husky, familiar, voice murmured disappointedly behind you.

You skidded to a stop and turned your head

“Hi.”Jaejoong was a foot away, dressed in casual jeans, hoodie, a mask and eye glasses to hide his identity. His phone was by his ear.

“Let me go!” You twisted your hand away from his grasp but to no avail.

“Aish. You haven’t changed.” Jaejoong smiled inwardly as he slipped his hands under your knees and neck. In a short moment, you were carried close to his chest.

“Put me down!” With your palms, you pushed yourself away from him. You crashed on the ground and helplessly whined. Why do I have to be such an oaf?

 “YAH! Aish Jincha! You’re still the same klutz I know.” He sighed as he bends down to pick you up.. Leaving you with no moment to complain, he opened the passenger seat of the same car you kicked before and gently sat you in.

Jaejoong shut the door immediately and went to driver’s side.

As soon as he was in, you spoke.  “I don’t want to see you.” You spat coldly—avoiding eye-contact, afraid that your eyes would show a hint of lying. Jaejoong flinched at your words. He felt so detested.

“Well, I can’t stand a day without seeing you, sorry.“ Jaejoong smiled sheepishly as he reached over you to put the seatbelt. You swattedd his hands away in refusal.

“Why are you always so absurd? Are you kidnapping me now?” You protested as he stepped harder on
