Kai closed the door and walked back to the living room where Kyungsoo was sitting. He was staring into space when Kai sat next to him. Kai poked his cheek.

"What are you thinking about?", he asked.

Kyungsoo shook his head and replied. "Nothing. Just bored I guess".

Kai suddenly had an idea and his eyes shifted to the game system he had. He hasn't played it in a while since his brother Taemin sent it to him when he had moved and he didn't really have anyone  to play it with. "Wanna play?", Kai asked, grinning.

Kyungsoo turned his head to where Kai was staring and a smile crept on his face. He loved playing video games. 

"Sure", he said, trying to sound calm even though deep down he was squealing like a little girl.

Kai got up and turned the television and the game system on. He put in the game Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It was his favorite and he knew it would be fun playing with Kyungsoo. He went back to the couch with two controllers in hand. 

"I-I don't know how to play this game", Kyungsoo lied. He planned on looking like he had no skill in this game but little did Kai know, he knows this game from beginning to end.

"It's alright I teach you", Kai said.

He moved closer to Kyungsoo and told him which buttons did what. Kyungsoo nodded his head like he was new to this whole thing. When Kai was done, he smiled and simply said, "Got it".

They began playing and to make it more realistic, Kyungsoo completely let Kai win at first. Kai reassured him that he'd get better. They played another round and Kyungsoo completely owned Kai. Kai dropped his controller and looked at Kyungsoo in disbelief.

"Y-You LIED!", Kai yelled.

Kyungsoo giggled and dropped his controller because he was laughing so hard. His stomach began to hurt to which he clutched it in pain but still continued to laugh. "I'm So-", he started, "Sorry, b-but I just couldn't r-resist the opportunity". Kyungsoo was gone at this point laughing hysterically. Kai just looked at him. He got up and turned the game system and the television off. He didn't bother to sit back on the couch but went into his bedroom and closed the door.  Kyungsoo immediately stopped laughing. Is he really angry?, he thought to himself. He started to feel bad so he walked down the hallway to Kai's room.

He knocked on his door lightly at first. "K-Kai?"

He didn't answer. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you angry". Kai heard the hurt in his voice and walked to the door to open it.

"Did you think that I'd get -hurt that easily?', Kai asked with a smirk. Kyungsoo shook his head and rolled his eyes. He left Kai standing in the doorway and went into the Kitchen to get a glass of water, Kai followed behind him and just watched as Kyungsoo drank his water.

"W-What?", he said after he removed the glass from his lips, water droplets on them.

"Uh. Nothing.", Kai said. He looked at the clock and it read 6:30. "Oh man, time flies. I'm gonna take a shower and you can too after okay?" Kyungsoo nodded and Kai left the kitchen.

Kai went into the bathroom and locked the door. He the water then the shower. He took off his clothing and went in. He began to think about all that was happening lately. Meeting Kyungsoo, the way his stomach would get the different feeling when he was around him. He still questioned why he took Kyungsoo in but for some reason, he just felt it was right. When Kai was done showering he stepped on. He looked around for his towel and and realized, he had left it in his bedroom. !, he thought. 

"K-Kyungsoo!!!", Kai yelled behind the bathroom door. 

Kyungsoo walked to the bathroom wondering what had happened to Kai. "Yeah! You okay?".

Kai took a deep breath. "I left my towel in the bedroom, can you get it for me?" He felt embarrassed asking him that.

Kyungsoo's face grew hot. "O-Okay". 

He walked into Kai's bedroom and grabbed his towel. He walked back to the bathroom then knocked again. Kai slowly opened it and kept his lower half hidden behind the door frame, sticking his head out. Kyungsoo gulped as he saw water trickle down Kai's shoulder. 

"H-Here", he stammered.

"Thanks", Kai said taking the towel. Before he could close the door, Kyungsoo was already gone. 

Kyungsoo's heart was beating fast and he didn't know why. He's a guy. Why is he making me feel like this?, he couldn't help but ask himself. He tried to get the image out of his head and went to the living room,however, it wouldn't go away. 

After a few minutes, Kai came back, fully clothed. Kyungsoo looked up at him.

"You can go now. I left the clothes for you to wear in the bathroom as well", Kai said. Kyungsoo got up and did what he was told.

Kai decided that he'd get dinner ready while he was showering. He knew just what to make, Kimchi and pasta.

Kyungsoo was finished showering and when he walked out the bathroom he smiled. He liked what he had smelled and saw Kai cooking. He looks so beautiful cooking. Oh God, what am I thinking. He walked up on Kai who jumped because he hadn't heard him walk in. 

"Whatcha making?", Kyungsoo asked cutely. Kai smiled.

"Kimchi and pasta. I hope that's alright", he said.

"That's more than alright! B-But why are you cutting mint? Isn't it supposed to be bailey?", Kyungsoo asked.

Kai looked up slowly. He felt like an idiot. "They look the same", Kai said innocently. Kyungsoo giggled and walked to the fridge, pulling out the correct spices. 

"You're cutting it wrong. You're supposed to cut it horizontal, not vertical." Kyungsoo couldn't help but laugh and Kai's face grew red. How am I supposed to know those things?. Kyungsoo began cutting the bailey with ease. Kai watched in amazement and Kyungsoo's hands danced around the cutting board. He put everything in the pot that had the pasta and mixed it together. He added a bit of some seasoning he saw lying around and mixed it in as well. He grabbed a fork and took a bit onto the fork and positioned it towards Kai's lips.

"Taste this", Kyungsoo said and put into Kai's mouth. He chewed the pasta and a smile showed on his face. "Is it good?"

Kai nodded. "Jjang!", he exclaimed. Kyungsoo grinned and turned off the fire. Kai went to get plates to put the food into.

They were eating in the kitchen together.

"I'd probably be eating minty pasta if you weren't here", Kai joked. "Thanks.

"Don't thank me. I should be thanking you. You're the one who helped me when I needed it most.", Kyungsoo said looking down. 

Kai looked at him and rubbed his back in circular movements. 

"I-I'm glad that I was your only exception", Kyungsoo continued. This time he looked up at Kai who was already looking at him. They stared into each other's eyes for a moment. Their cheeks flushed pink and they both looked away. 

"I'm glad too", Kai whispered but Kyungsoo heard him clearly. 

They continued to eat in silence, taking little glances at each other once in awhile. 

Kai didn't know what he was feeling, but he knew that he could get used to it.
