“Oppa, are you sure you’ll be okay?”

“I’ll be fine, Soo.” Kyuhyun nodded solemnly, transferring Sun Jung from one arm to another. “The girls are here anyway so you don’t have to worry, okay?”

“Yeah… I… Uh…” Sooyoung groaned, throwing herself on the chair. “I’m sorry. It’s just that I’m nervous enough as is and–”

“Trust me, I understand.” He interrupted her patiently, trying to be calming and supportive. Though he was uncertain of what would happen once Sooyoung and Leeteuk met, he knew it was something that they both needed and because of that, he was willing to understand. “Just breathe, okay?”

The brunette regarded him like he had grown an extra head for a moment before she shook her head and smiled. “Thanks, oppa.”

“No problem.” Kyuhyun smiled back, glancing at the clock as he did so. “You should get going.”

“Right.” She stood up, in a sharp breath. “Are you sure you’ll be okay with Sun Jung.”

“Yes, Choi. Now go.” The curly haired man rolled his eyes good naturedly.

A shaky laughter escaped her lips as she made her way to them, dropping a kiss on her forehead. “Mommy needs to go somewhere for a while, okay? Be good to your daddy.”

                Surprise crossed Kyuhyun’s face at her words and he gaped open mouthed at Sooyoung. He knew how hard everything must be for her and for her to allow him little by little into her and Sun Jung’s lives meant a great deal already. The way he saw it, Sun Jung had two fathers. One was her real father and though he didn’t know about being her father for more than a year, he loved her a great deal already. The other one wasn’t related to her yet he stepped in and loved and took care of her when she needed him most. That didn’t bother Kyuhyun much unlike he expected.

Sooyoung gave him a nod and a small smile. “I’ll see you later, oppa.”

“Yeah.” He gave her a reassuring smile. “Good luck.”

Leeteuk sat her down on her bed before walking over to his temporary one. “Soo?”

“Yes, oppa?” She looked over to him.

“Who’s the father?”

Sooyoung noticeably stiffened for a moment before putting up a guarded façade. “It’s better if no one knows.”

His eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “But why? Your baby needs a father.”

“He wouldn’t want a baby. That’s for sure.” She answered and he could hear the anger, disappointment and sadness in her tone. “He wouldn’t care about me and the baby. He didn’t even love me back when… when we were together. Oppa, can we please not talk about this?”

                Leeteuk winced at the memory; the dorm silent and empty as he sat in the living room. He knew Kyuhyun was probably taking care of Sun Jung now that Sooyoung was on his way to see him. At the pointed request by Heechul and Kangin, the other boys had left to do heaven knew what. No one complained; they all knew it was about damn time that he and Sooyoung finally talked.

                He wondered how things would be like if he didn’t bring up the baptism he had been planning, if Sooyoung didn’t decide that it was high time for him to know the truth. Would they still be happy and together and be like they used to be? Or would her secret be revealed some other way? Would he and Kyuhyun ever know? Too many what if’s and his heart couldn’t help but ache for the happier possibilities. But he knew Sooyoung could only hold onto the burden for so long.

Yet, he couldn’t help but wished that the happiness lasted longer.

“But Sooyoung, your baby is technically considered a bastard. What do you think about that?”

            All the positivity disappeared because of that question. The calm and collected façade that Sooyoung had on disappeared as the question hit her hard. All the color drained from her face and she didn’t know what to say to the smirking reporter. Kyuhyun clenched his first, ready to literally strike at the guy, when someone beat him. Leeteuk was on his feet in an instant, surprising everyone in the room. In long strides, he made his way over to SNSD’s table. Taking the microphone in front of Sooyoung, he raised it to his lips and spoke in a harsh tone.

“The baby won’t be a bastard because I’m the father.” He nearly snarled into the microphone. “Sooyoung and I have been dating secretly for the past months and you have no right to call my baby a bastard.”

He still remembered that day oh too well and though he was hurt so much, he wouldn’t take back his decision, not when it gave him Sooyoung and Sun Jung.

            Leeteuk just couldn’t stop smiling. Why would he? Now that he knew that Sooyoung was having a baby girl, he could prepare even better. His mind raced off with countless ideas and plans, ranging from finding baby names to looking for clothes for the baby. Okay, maybe he was just exaggerating and little bit too excited. Sooyoung was scheduled to give birth in a couple more months so there was no need to hurry. But what the hell; he was just so excited. He opened the door of the dorm and saw that the Super Junior boys were in the living room, waiting for him.

“Is it a boy or girl?” Sungmin was up on his feet once he saw his hyung.

He grinned, handing a copy of the ultrasound to the younger man. “It’s a baby girl.”

“Oh!”

Leeteuk’s head snapped up from the pregnancy book he was reading and saw Sooyoung wincing. “Soo, what’s wrong?” His worried tone reached the ears of everyone else in the room and they all crowded over, asking what the problem was.

Sooyoung shook her head; a smile appearing on her face. “I-It’s nothing, oppa. The baby just kicked.”

“The baby just – WHAT?!” He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

She took his hand and placed it over a certain area of her growing belly. True enough, he felt the baby kick from inside. “Oh my god…”

“She’s amazing…” The brunette cooed as she patted her belly gently. “She’s really strong too.”

“Does it hurt?” He couldn’t help but ask as he felt her daughter kick once more.

“Not really… Just surprising.”

Yunho pushed his way past Zhou Mi and Siwon. “Can I feel it too?”

A tear trickled down his cheek at the memory.

He still remembered how that felt like too.

“Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” Some people from the crowd began to chant repeatedly and it didn’t take long before the chants became louder. Sooyoung and Leeteuk froze on stage.

Sooyoung swallowed the lumped that suddenly formed in . “O-Oppa, what do we do?”

He could only watch as the host temporarily took their trophies from them. “We don’t really have a choice… again?”

“I guess…”

Everyone watched as Leeteuk stepped closer towards Sooyoung; his hand reaching up to caress the side of her face. “Do you trust me?”

She smiled tenderly. “Yes, I do.”

Cheers echoed throughout the venue as he leaned in; her lips meeting his halfway.

Leeteuk was crying again. He lost count of how many times he did ever since he found out.

He was so happy that night, so, so happy that words couldn’t properly express it. When he kissed her, he knew he loved her already and he held on to the hope that maybe, just maybe, she was starting to feel the same way too; that maybe their relationship wasn’t completely for show. He had kissed her that night in front of everybody and though he was happy back then, now his heart was breaking for him and for Kyuhyun, whose he heart he was sure broke that night.

“Hey, Soo. Why is your bed wet?” The smile on Sunny’s face disappeared as realization sunk in. “Oh my god… Is that…”

“Yes, it’s me.” Sooyoung replied, gasping for breath. Before she could get another word out of , she screamed in pain.

Leeteuk was by her side in an instant. “What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Soo!”

“Oppa! The baby’s coming!” She screamed, doubling over in pain. “THE BABY’S COMING!”
