I flipped the page of music magazine I was reading with bored expression. I wasn't focused to the article because I actually waited for Woohyun to arrive.
After fifteen minutes waiting for him, Woohyun returned with a wide grin as if he just received a big prize. His face beamed when he looked at me.
"What?" I cringed, hoping that he won't tell me whatever I was thinking. I had a bad feeling just by looking at his wide smile.
"I walked Eunye back to her apartment...," he sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulder, "...and I just told Eunye that I like her!"
I sighed and closed the magazine, rubbing my temple slowly, "Aigoo, Woohyun, haven't I told you that you shouldn't rush?"
He didn't reply because he was grinning from ear to ear. Looked like whatever I said wouldn't change his mind anymore.
"So...," I looked at him, "...have you asked her to be your girlfriend?"
Woohyun put his finger under his chin, trying to remember the conversation he had with Eunye, "I guess no... Not yet, perhaps, but she said that she likes me too!"
Honestly speaking I felt relieved when I knew he had not asked her to be his girlfriend because it meant that they're not a couple yet, weren't they?
It's not that I couldn't see good in Eunye but, being a person who had experiences in working with various people with different personalities, let's just say that I had tendency to analyze their personalities.
The moment I met Eunye again since the day she drew distance from me, I knew she was hiding something and I didn't like it, especially because it involved my childhood friend that I had treated like my own brother.
She had changed and I didn't know why. From the way she talked to me when Woohyun was not around, it's pretty obvious that she didn't even want me to be there with her.
I had no idea why she acted so cold towards me but she could easily put on a fake smile for Woohyun.
"Woohyun," I patted his shoulder twice, "don't be fooled by her."
Ironically I knew he wouldn't listen to me.
Just like people said out there, love was blind.

I was on my way to the meeting room when I see the familiar figures, standing close to each other at a corridor. The girl is leaning to the wall with a bright smile while the guy is talking about something cheerfully.
Somehow it annoys me when I see Woohyun can be so happy because of Eunye. I don't understand what kind of spell that she has casted on my childhood friend but I just can't bear with it.
I secretly watch them from far, wondering what they're talking about when it's almost time for us to attend a weekly meeting.
"They said they have the best pizza," Woohyun tells her with excitement. "I went there before with my parents and they like it so much. I'm sure you will love it."
"It's a promise then," Eunye chuckles and tilts her head. "This Sunday?"
Ah, so they're planning for a date. Well, looks like Woohyun has forgotten about whatever I told him three nights ago.
My eyes land on Eunye. She tucks her long hair behind her ear and looks up to give her best smile to Woohyun.
From outer appearance, Eunye hasn't changed at all. Actually she looks more feminine now because she wears thin yet soft make up. Her long hair almost reaches her waist and she wears a white dress under her black blazer.
I don't understand why my intuition keeps telling me that she is dangerous for Woohyun because she looks like an angel in Woohyun's perspective.
"This Sunday will do," Woohyun takes a quick look at his wristwatch. "Ah, it's time already. Come on. We have a meeting to attend."
When Woohyun steps forwards, Eunye quickly takes his hand with hers. Woohyun stops and turns to look at her with confusion.
"Ah, I'm sorry," Eunye suddenly pulls back and smiles bashfully. "I just... Ah, I'm sorry, Oppa..."
Wow, if that is just an act, I think she really deserves an Oscar. That act definitely makes Woohyun's cheeks turn into red shades.
As if he doesn't want her to act awkward, Woohyun takes her hand and smiles, "Let's go."
I hide myself from their sight by taking steps backwards as they turn to the meeting room, hand in hand.
"Nam Woohyun," I heave a sigh and rest my head against the wall, "I hope you're not drowning yourself into deep trouble."

"Here," Woohyun pulls a chair for me and he sits right next to me. I smile and thank him before I put my notes and phone on the table.
It's been three days since the night Woohyun told me about his feeling for me. It also means three days have passed since Hoya convinced me to stop me from continuing this 'assignment'.
Just like now.
My phone suddenly vibrates and I open the text messaging application just to find Hoya's name as the sender.
Hoya
"No lovey dovey act please."
I look up from my phone and find him sitting around six seats away from Woohyun. He is holding his phone and he gives me a serious look.
I give him a sarcasm smile and reply to him that I know what I can and can't do. Besides I still have good reputation to hold.
"I'll be right back," I whisper to Woohyun and put my phone on the table. I stand up and walk out from the meeting room.
The teachers always have to attend a meeting once in two weeks to evaluate about our performances and the students. Since the headmaster hasn't came, I know I still have time to go to the restroom.
I look at my own reflection on the mirror, wondering if I'm doing everything in the right pace. I run my fingers to trail my long hair, "If it's not for you, I should have short hair now..."
It's ironic. Everything is ironic.
"You're such a fool, Eunye," I shake my head and walk out from the restroom, heading back to the meeting room.
It's not the time to let hesitation take control over me. I have decided my next plan and I'm not going to let my past to intervene with it.
Woohyun has asked me to go on a date with him this Sunday and, of course, I agreed right away. We will go to a restaurant which is owned by his friend and I can rest assure that Sunggyu will not go with us.
Yes, it's a couple date. I'm not sure about it yet because I don't remember about Woohyun asking me to be his girlfriend but I know he treats me like one.
Right when I open the door to the meeting room, I see the headmaster is walking to me. I bow slightly and then step inside and sit on my seat again.
That's when I realize that Sunggyu is actually sitting right across from me. Our eyes meet for a second but I quickly look away, pretending to pay attention to the headmaster who just greets us warmly.
When the headmaster has started the brief explanation about our meeting objectives today, I reach out to take my phone to check whether there is a message or not.
My eyes widen in shock because of the phone wallpaper I see when I want to unlock the screen.
Why does my phone have a picture of him at the wallpaper?!
I return my gaze to Sunggyu and I can see that he just realized that he is holding a phone which is not his. He looks at me and we just stare at each other while the headmaster starts the meeting.
Out of all people in the world, why should my phone be with him? No, the first question is how could my phone end up in his hand? How could we end up mixed up with our phones?!
As if I'm not shocked enough, Sunggyu does something on my phone with his hand. I give him deadly glare, hoping that he can get my intention that I don't want him to touch my phone.
"Eunye?" Woohyun whispers to me with concerned look. "Is something wrong? We need to pay attention to Mr Han. You know that he doesn't like to be interrupted..."
I just force a smile to him and then glare at Sunggyu again. Within next second, the phone in my hand vibrates as a notification of a new text message.
Unknown Number
"Stop trying to kill me with your glare."
I bite my bottom lip to prevent me from dropping my jaw or scream at him. I tighten my grip on his phone before I quickly reply to my own number.
"Don't touch my phone!"
Sunggyu raises one of his eyebrows when he reads my reply. He types something again and I wait impatiently, not paying attention at all with the meeting.

"Have a secret here that I shouldn't know?"
This man is unbelievable!
I give him my ultimate glare but he looks back at me calmly. He even spins my phone playfully for seconds but he suddenly stops and reads something on my phone.
Wait, I haven't replied his text message. What is he reading?
My heart sinks when I see Hoya is looking at me. He points to his phone and then to me. I quickly cover my mouth because I don't want to end up expelled from the room.
Please don't tell me that Hoya just sent a text message to me.
Please don't tell me that Sunggyu is reading the text message from Hoya.
Please don't tell me Hoya is talking about Woohyun in the text message.
Sunggyu's phone vibrates and I read the next text message just to see my phone number as the sender.

"Don't make me have a heart to hate you, Choi Eunye."
Okay, I'm doomed.
