"Do you want to order something else?" the waitress asks me politely with a genuine smile. "I recommend you our hot cappuccino, Sir."
"A cup of hot cappuccino then," I add my order list and tell her that it's enough. She excuses herself and let me to have time for myself.
It's just a small cafe but I always love the atmosphere here. Eunye also likes this place because she loves the hot cappuccino. We often came here during our college days.
Eunye's expression when we met just now crosses my mind again. She was talking with Woohyun but she immediately looked away when I approached them. Looks like she's still mad at me.
I don't understand why she is even mad at me. What have I done that made her wanted me to stop being her best friend? What made her acted this way towards me?
"There you are!" a voice grabs my attention and I turn to face a boy who is only three years younger than me. He has a big grin on his face to greet me. "Yo, Hyung!"
"Shinyeol," I smile back at him and tilt my head to look at the person behind him. "Hello there, Junyeol. It's been a while."
Another boy who has the exactly same face with Shinyeol comes out from Shinyeol's back and laughs, "Ah, I think you would not notice me, Hyung!"
"I guess I know you too good then," I chuckle and give them a sign to sit across from me. "Order whatever you want. It's my treat today."
Their face beam and they start to choose snacks for themselves. They also order a cup of hot chocolate and a glass of ice chocolate to complete their order before we start to talk.
"Hyung is doing good, right?" Shinyeol who wears glasses asks me first. "It's been half a year, isn't it? You haven't changed at all!"
I smile and nod, "I don't but you two surely have grown. You're so much taller now. I think you'll be taller than me the next time we meet again."
Junyeol, being the one who is more playful and cheerful, asks the next question, "How is Noona? You said she works together with you now. Does she have a boyfriend already?"
I can only force a smile as an answer for his last question. I don't think it's a good idea to tell them about the 'heartbreaker' reputation that their oldest sister has.
"She is doing perfectly good," I answer them calmly, knowing that they really care about Eunye. "She is working hard as an English teacher now. You two should ask her personally."
Both of them smile in relief before start talking to each other about how they're really happy that they can return to Seoul again even if it's just for three days because of their parents' busy schedule.
"Oh, this, Hyung," Shinyeol takes out a gift box to me. "This is what you requested. I hope it suits your request though."
"Thank you, Shin," I take the box and open it to see what's inside, making sure that it's the right stuff I want. "I'll do what I need for the finishing touch then."
"Eunye Noona will be happy with this present from you!" Junyeol exclaims with excitement. "I really wish I can be here on her birthday..."
I smile to them, knowing that they really miss Eunye, "I'll make sure that she is happy on her birthday next week, okay?"
They nod in unison and they start to talk about what they're doing in Los Angeles. They also ask me if I can play to their place one day instead of waiting for them to come.
Despite the fact that I'm not talking with her at the moment, I actually feel guilty from hiding her family's visit to Seoul for three days.
It's a good thing that I often keep in touch with Eunye's family.

"Come in," Eunye pulled my hand so I stepped inside the house. "They are waiting for you. Come on, Hoya."
"I know, I know," I chuckled at her impatience. I followed her to the main room where her parents were already waiting for me. "I'm not going anywhere. Don't worry."
It's been months since the first day I met Eunye. We became good friends in no time. We talked about almost everything and we shared same interests somehow so we got along pretty fast.
Today was Eunye's birthday and I visited her house for the first time to give her a music box as a birthday present. She told me to come and greet her parents immediately.
I knew that she had a father who worked as a architect and a mother who loved to cook. Eunye also had two younger brothers who were twins named Shinyeol and Junyeol.
"Ah, so you are Howon," her mother greeted me with a warm smile. She exchanged looks with her husband, "He is a good friend for Eunye, isn't it?"
"He is," her father offered me a handshake. "Nice to finally meet you, Howon."
"It's my pleasure," I accepted his handshake and gave them ninety deegres bow. My gaze landed on the twins who looked back at me with curiosity. "Shinyel and Junyeol, right?"
"Woah! He knows our names!" Shinyeol mumbled happily and turned to his twin. "Noona must has told him our names!"
Eunye chuckled and told her siblings to follow her to the kitchen so they could prepare something to eat and drink together. They left the main room, leaving me with her parents alone.
"You're the first boy friend Eunye brought here," her mother suddenly spoke with a smile. "Don't worry. I'm not going to try and hook you with her. I'm just happy that she has a good friend like you."
"She told us a lot about you," her father added. "I can't help but to think that you two are destined to be together from the start."
I just smiled bashfully, feeling both happy and flattered that two of them gave me their faith of being Eunye's best friend.
That day I also found out that her family would move to States and Eunye would live by her own in Seoul. Her father would continue his work and Eunye convinced them she would be alright.
"Don't worry," Eunye turned to me with her usual cheerful smile. "I have my best friend here!"
That's a smile I would protect as a best friend.

I cover my mouth to prevent myself from causing any noise that will make Hoya or the twins recognize my presence. I can't believe what I just heard.
I was surprised enough when I heard the familiar voices from Shinyeol and Junyeol. I never expected that I would see them today because I heard nothing about their arrival in Seoul.
My family always gives me a visit twice a year and I know this month they will visit me. I had no idea why they met Hoya first until Junyeol states happily, "Eunye Noona will be happy with this present from you!"
Hoya actually meets them because he is preparing a birthday present from me?
All of a sudden I just remember that I will celebrate my birthday in two weeks. Because of all suprising things lately, I didn't even remember it...
...but Hoya remembers.
"I'll make sure that she is happy on her birthday next week, okay?" Hoya says to them and I swear my tear is going to roll down if I don't stop myself.
They start to talk about random topics like Shinyeol's school, Junyeol's crush, Hoya's favorite music, and more but I'm not paying attention to what they're talking anymore.
I carefully sneak out from the cafe and, thankfully, they don't notice me because they're too busy and excited with their own conversation. I walk away and finally reach the nearby park.
"You're a fool, Choi Eunye," I sit down on a bench and bury my face on my hands. Tears starts to roll down as I sob quietly, "Why do you even cry?"
I feel ashamed. How could I think that Hoya really stopped caring about me? How could I ask him to throw away our friendship just because of my selfishness?
Now please, someone, tell me how can I don't fall in love with him.
How can I stop this heart from falling deeper?
