I assure myself not to hold her hand too tight or it will hurt her. I bring myself to look at her in the eyes while her hand is on my lips.
My heart is beating out of control due to the guilt engulfing inside. I know I'm not supposed to do this; to hold and kiss her hand so casually when she is my childhood friend's girlfriend.
However this is the only way I can find out her true intention. If she can act, I'll act to my maximum level to make her spoil out whatever she is hiding from Woohyun.
Including about the Hyomin girl she was talking to on the phone.
The idea just crossed my mind when she gave me Hoya's T-shirt. I know that they're best friends and if Eunye is actually planning something, Hoya should have stopped her in case if that's a bad plan.
Since she looks so close with a guy, even she has his shirt and towel, I think the capture-her-heart method could be an option.
"Y-Y-Yah!" she tries to pull her hand from mine but I pull it back spontaneusly, resulting Eunye to bump onto my chest and I can inhale her sweet scent.
While my right hand still holds her hand, I let my left hand to run, her long hair. I remember that her hair was so much shorter than now two years ago but it almost reaches her waist now.
I always prefer a long-haired girl instead of a short-haired one because I always love to her long hair with my fingers.
We stay in silence for seconds before someone knocks the door all of a sudden. Eunye immediately pushes me away with red cheeks.
This is the first time I see her blush like this.
She walks to the door, leaving me alone on the couch. I cover my mouth and feel that my cheeks are really warm now.
It's just an act...
...but the last one I did is not in my scenario. The gesture of her long hair; I only did that to Bora before because she was my girlfriend.
It just happened like that.
"Sunggyu, she is someone's girlfriend...," I murmur to myself. "What were you thinking?"
"Gyu Hyung?" the familiar voice calls me. I turn and my eyes widen when I see Woohyun is approaching me. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm all good," I clear my throat nervously. I even drop my gaze to avoid looking at him. It suddenly feels difficult to talk with Woohyun after what I just did.
It's wrong but why does my heart still beat so fast just because I remember Eunye's scent?

♥ Woohyun ♥
I raise my hand to knock the door but freeze for seconds, unsure with my decision to come here all the way to meet Eunye in her own apartment. Is she even here yet?
Eunye returned first and she said I didn't need to accompany her. It's still raining outside and I was worried about her. Well, to be exact, I'm worried that she is mad at me because I ask her a personal question.
Instead of giving her a call first, I decided to give her a surprise visit. Now I can only hope that she has returned.
I knock the door thrice and wait for seconds but there is no response. I knock again and finally someone opens the door from inside.
"Eunye," I smile when I see her face. Strange enough she doesn't have her usual bright smile. Her face is red and I start to panic, "Ah, are you alright? Did you get caught in the rain?"
"N-No," she lets out a small smile and glances to the inside of her apartment. "What... Is there anything I can do for you, Oppa?"
I was thinking about the right word to apologize when my eyes find a pair of man's shoes next to her shoes. It looks exactly like Sunggyu's shoes.
"Is Sunggyu Hyung with you?" I blurt out the question even though I know it's quite impossible. It's very surprising if it's true because even I never stepped inside her apartment.
"Oh, he... I met him when I was on my way back and he didn't have an umbrella so...," Eunye stops and steps backward as a gesture of giving me the permission to walk in. "He's inside..."
I feel a pang in my heart but I ignore it and nod slightly to Eunye before walk to the main room. I find Sunggyu is sitting on the couch, "Gyu Hyung? Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm all good," he answers without looking at me when I'm approaching him. "I just wanted to call you. Let's go back."
He stands up and grabs his drenched clothes which he put on the table just now. He walks pass Eunye who quickly steps away from him. Sunggyu wears his shoes and leaves the room, "Come on, Woohyun."
"Wait. A minute," I tell him, approaching Eunye who stands next to the door. "Can you please wait for a minute? I need to talk with Eunye."
He gives me a simple nod before I close the door. I turn to look at Eunye. She still doesn't look really good so I step closer to her and press my backhand on her forehead, "Are you alright? Is it because of the rain?"
Eunye shakes her head and forces a smile, "I'm alright. Don't worry. You need to return now. He is waiting for you."
"Are you mad at me?" I cup one of her cheeks. A sad smile forms on my lips, "I'm sorry, Eunye, I really am."
"Why are you apologizing?" she replies calmly, comforting me with a warm smile. "It's alright. It's just I'm not in a really good mood. We'll talk again tomorrow, okay?"
I sigh in relief after I hear her answer. I lean closer and kiss her forehead like what I always do, "I'll see you tomorrow, Eunye."
When I look down at her so I can see her face, she looks up at the same time. Our faces are only inches away that I can't help but to stare at her eyes and then down to her lips.
My heart beats out of control as I gather all of my courage to kiss her eyes. She closes her eyes and clutches my shirt, making my brain to freeze for a second.
I give another kiss on her nose before I brush my lips with hers gently. I whisper with a really faint voice but I know she can hear me, "Saranghae..."
Then our lips finally meet for the first time.
It's just a second but it feels like forever for me. I pull away and, even though I feel like my head is spinning around because of my uncontrollable heartbeat, I still manage to smile, "I'm glad my first kiss is you."
"Eh?" Eunye's eyes widen in surprise. I can't blame her because I will definitely do the same if I was her.
I chuckle shyly and pat her head, "I know it sounds impossible but it's the truth. I'll see you tomorrow, Eunye. Have a good rest tonight."
Even though I have left her apartment, even though I'm already on my way back with Sunggyu, even though I know it's not a big deal to kiss my own girlfriend...
...the feeling of kissing her lips is still lingering.

♥ Hoya ♥
I open the door slightly just to make sure that the door is unlocked. I step inside and take off my shoes before I look for Eunye and close the door.
I know that she has returned from her date with Woohyun and I come to ask about what happened during her date. I hope something to change her mind from playing with Woohyun's heart.
The rain has stopped and I just returned from a monthly family meeting. This month we went to a famous restaurant and I managed to buy an Opera cake for Eunye because it's her favorite cake.
She is sitting on the couch, staring at the television which shows a music program blankly. There are two empty cans of ice coffee on the table and there are three more cans while she is holding a can.
"Yah, Choi Eunye!" I snap at her. I put the cake on the table and sit next to her. I snatch away the can in her hand and put it away from her, "I know you like coffee but you can't drink too man-"
I stop my words abruptly when Eunye suddenly wraps her arms around my waist. She hugs me tight as if I will disappear if she lets me go.
"E-Eunye?" I pat her back gently with my right hand. I her hair with my left hand, burying my face in her hair. "What's wrong?"
"I am really cruel...," she mumbles to my chest. "I'm such a bad girl. I am even worse than a slu-"
Before she could finish her words of cursing herself, I push her and cover with my hand. I cup her cheek with my other hand, "Don't say things like that. That is so not true. Do you hear me?"
Her eyes are teary and I know she is going to cry soon. I shift my hand from to her cheek. I cup her face and rest my forehead against her, "Look, I don't know what happened but you're my best friend and my best friend is a sweet and nice girl, okay?"
"Am I?" she closes her eyes and sighs. "Please, tell me, you're not lying..."
"You know I never lie," I pinch her cheeks playfully and smile to cheer her up. "At least I never lie to you. Never."
Eunye finally smiles and she diverts her gaze to the cake box, "Ah! Is that a cake for me?!"
She rushes to open the box and her face beams when she sees the Opera Cake, "Opera! My favorite!"
I watch her rush to the kitchen to look for a cake knife and plates for us to eat. Looking at her like this, I think I can delay my question about what happened to her for tonight.
"No coffee for the next three days if you want to eat this," I warn her when she cuts the cake. She puffs her cheeks and she is ready to protest but I raise my eyebrow, "No coffee or I will never buy you a cake again."
"Fine!" she pouts cutely and continues to cut the cake carefully.
I smile and help her to put the cake on the plate. It's alright if she doesn't want to talk about her problem now.
I don't want to see her sad again tonight.
