So here I am today, at the Incheon airport, waiting for the flight to London which will depart in an hour. I still can't believe that I actually agreed to go to London.
Woohyun and Sunggyu both have parts in persuading me to accept the offer as one of the five lecturers which will accompany the selected students for the international dance competition in London.
Four days have passed since the last time I talked with Hoya. Yes, four days ago, we finally had a talk. It's not really a talk actually because we just exchanged text messages.
I scroll down my inbox and re-read his messages to me. He sent the first message around eight at night, right when I was thinking about rejecting Mr Han's offer since he just held a meeting on the morning.
Hoya
"I'm sorry."
I didn't reply his text so he sent another text message five minutes later.
Hoya
"If you're still mad at me, at least listen to me about this. Go to London. We need you."
I sent a reply to him, the first message I sent to him after a while. I told him that I would go in one condition.
"I'll go if you promise me that you'll not talk to me unless it's about work."
It's a one-sided decision and I know it's really selfish but I don't want my heart to waver when I'm in London. I'm afraid that I can't control my emotion if he actually treats me the way he always did.
It took a while for him to reply my request.
Hoya
"Fine, but promise me to take care of yourself."
"Why are you still being so caring after I confessed to you?" I murmur to myself. Did my confession mean anything to him?
"Choi Songsaenim," a girl calls me, giving me a sign to follow her because it's time to depart. She is Kim Hyuna, the dance teacher who is selected along with Hoya for the dance competition counselors.
"It's alright to call me by name, Hyuna," I pat her shoulder, dragging my luggage along. "Let's hope that our two weeks will be great."
She flashes me a smile and asks me my seat number while the three guys follow us behind. I check my ticket once again and find out that we're not in the same row.
I have a bad feeling about who will sit next to me.

"Let me help you," I offer my help to Hyuna, helping her to put her carry-on baggage carefully. She murmurs a 'thank you' before she takes the seat next to the window.
I sit down and glance at the row where Eunye and the others two are. It must be really awkward there. I wonder if I need to exchange seat with Eunye.
My seat is right next to Hyuna while Eunye gets the seat in the three-seats row, right between Hoya and Sunggyu. We found out about it after we got in the plane.
The students sit on different row from us, divided into two rows like us as well.
It's obvious that Eunye doesn't like her luck in the seat arrangement but she doesn't say anything. She takes her seat without a word and she even wears the seatbelt even before the flight attendant tells us to.
"Looks like you're really worried about Eunye," Hyuna snaps me back to my senses. She smiles at me, "She is a really important girl for you, isn't she?"
"Ah," I rub the back of my neck shyly. "It's..."
Hyuna bends down a little so she can look at Eunye, "She is really lucky to have someone who cares a lot about her. It must be nice."
I look at her, noticing that her sincere expression. Looks like she is not one of the teachers who believe the rumors about Eunye as the cruel heartbreaker.
"Thank you," I form a smile. "I'm glad you're the one who is going with us for this trip."
Hyuna quickly straightens her body and coughs, "Ah, it's nothing..."
When the flight attendant steps forward to give us the instructions, I give a glance at three of them again but they're not talking to each other.
I hope everything will be alright until we arrive in London.

"We hope that all of you will have a good time with us," the flight attendant bows, ending the instruction and demonstration. She returns to her seat immediately.
I prop my chin on palm but the corner of my eyes are glancing at Eunye. She is doing nothing but staring at her own fingers, intertwining them as if it's really interesting.
Meanwhile Sunggyu stares out through the window as the plane starts to take off, leaving the ground and flies high on the sky, heading to London.
The flight will take around 11 hours and I don't know if I can stay that long in silence like this. It's really awkward.
No talk unless it's about work.
I only agree with that condition because I want Eunye to go to London. Two days and it's her birthday. How can I give her the present on her birthday if she refused to go with us?
"Thank you for breaking my heart, Lee Howon."
I can't forget that statement from her. Tear rolled down on her cheek and she looked extremely mad. WHat have I done until we turned to be like this?
I promised myself that I would her to protect her from broken heart but she actually said that I am the one who broke her heart.., even when I didn't realize it.
Who am I for her? When did I break her heart? Is it because I defended Bora? Is it because I ignored her too long?
I flinch a little when Eunye suddenly moves. She rests her head on the seat, closing her eyes. I guess she is trying to get some sleep because we take an early flight, considering the time difference between Seoul and London.
"We just took off and you want to sleep already?" Sunggyu suddenly speaks and Eunye opens her eyes again. "Seriously, Eunye?"
"Give me an option other than sleeping," Eunye retorts calmly. "It's not like we can't do anything."
Sunggyu frowns and he takes his iPod from the carried-on bag, "I don't think they will mind if we put on a good music out loud."
He presses the play button and let the music to echo after making sure that the volume is not too loud. I've heard the song somewhere before. It's a good song.

Eunye tilts her head, focusing her hearing on the music. Some passengers also turn around for a while but ignore us afterwards.

"It's good," Eunye murmurs and Sunggyu gives a satisfied grin. Our eyes meet for a second but he doesn't say anything.

The song goes on and after the song is finished, I realize that Eunye actually has drift off to dreamland. It means she really enjoyed the song.
"Ah," Sunggyu stops the song and looks at Eunye with gentle eyes. "She must be really tired."
He gives me a slight nod before returning his gaze to the window. He plugs the earphones in his ears, listening to his own playlist in silence.
Minutes later, Eunye loses her balance; her head is going to fall to the other side, to Sunggyu's shoulder. I hesitate for seconds, feeling a tug in my heart. When she falls to the left side, I quickly hold her shoulder.
I wrap her shoulder and let her head to rest on my shoulder instead of Sunggyu's. I can inhale her shampoo scent and the feeling I already miss of hugging her engulfs me.
Sunggyu is still clueless. Actually I think he has fallen asleep as well, leaning his head against the window.
I tighten my grip on her shoulder but making sure that I won't wake her up. I bury my face on her hair as I feel heat creeps to my cheeks.
What is this feeling?
When did I become this protective towards Eunye?
Am I jealous?
