The next day at Maid Latte..

 “Ommo, isn’t that Hara?” Yesung pointed to Hara who sat opposite their table.

“Oh, it is her” KangIn said

“I’m glad we came” Eunhyuk grinned

Then they saw Hara walk towards a guy who just came in.

“Won’t you work as a substitute today?” Hara asked

“No, I came as a customer” Kyuhyun replied

“Then, would you like to share a table with me?” she asked with her puppy eyes but kyuhyun just looked at her with no emotions.

“No, thanks!” he said

“What a waste. How dare he reject Hara-ssi” eunhyuk said

That guy, there’s a limit to how little interest he can show. All he cares about is that boring woman. Hara thought then walked towards the staff room.

 “Hara-ssi, Manager is out for a while..” Seohyun said when she saw Hara

“Why should I care about that” Hara replied

“She should be back soon, so why not sit for a while?” Seohyun said  and forced a smile

“Mind your own business” Hara said

“You don’t like me, don’t you?” Seohyun carefully asked

“WOW, how’d you know?” Hara replied sarcastically

“Alright, then I’ll go first” Seohyun said

Seohyun went to her locker and changed into her casual clothes.

“ARE THOSE YOUR CASUAL CLOTHES??” Hara asked

“Yeah” Seohyun said. “Is there a problem?” And she looked at herself

“OF COURSE THERE IS. There’s not the slightest hint of feminity.” Hara exclaimed

“I grab whatever is cheap” Seohyunexplained

Then Hara walked closer to Seohyun and glared at her angrily. Seohyun was  beginning to get scared of the cute middleschooler. It’s not like she has done anything bad to her to hate her that much.

“How did you seduce Kyuhyun? You must have some kind of secret technique. There must have to be a reason for him not to look at someone as cute as me. If I make him mine, I’ll be even cuter than before but he won’t even look at me and I can’t accept that. Tell me, what did you do?” Hara asked

“I did not do anything” Seohyun said. “And may I clear this to you Hara-ssi…Kyuhyun-ssi and I are not in a relationship like what you’re thinking. If you like him, I won’t mind” Seohyun said with a smile.

“Of course, cause you’re totally boring” Hara said

“Ok, then I’ll go first. Anneong.” Seohyun waved goodbye.

HARA’S POV

The next day, Kyuhyun worked as a substitute again. He was preparing to knock off work when he saw me waiting in the locker room.

“Are you going to let me have your omelet rice today?” I asked

Kyuhyun ignored me so I blocked his way to stop him. I won’t give up on him so easily. I smiled at him brightly but he just looked at me with a bored look.

“Could you move?” He said

“Huh?” I was shocked but then I gave way and he started to walk towards his locker. Aish he can’t continuously ignore me like this. So before he could walk farther away, I hugged him from the back. He suddenly stopped. He turned around to face me and I embraced him tighter.

“What do you want me to do?” I heard him finally say

“I WANT YOU TO BE MINE AND ONLY MINE!” I said to him

I heard him release a soft chuckle then he pushed and pinned me on the wall. He moved his head closer to mine. When we locked our eyes on each other, I was scared. I have never seen such eyes.

“Do you really understand what that means?” he whispered. I gulped on what he said

“What’s…” Seohyun asked shocked when she saw us. Her eyes widened and were suddenly filled with anger. “YAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, CHO KYUHYUN?” she said then suddenly grabbed him and punched him. (Author: Seohyun is so cool. Don’t you think? lol)

Kyuhyun did not say a word. I immediately slumped at the floor after Seohyun grabbed Kyuhyun away. My knees felt so weak and my heart was beating really fast and really strong.

Seohyun let go of Kyuhyun then faced me. She knelt down so we could be at the same level.

“Hara-ssi” She called

I looked up then.. SLAP…she slapped me really hard on the cheek.

“WHAT WAS THAT FOR?” I angrily asked

“WHY ARE YOU GOING THIS FAR, ACTING LIKE THIS WAS SOME KIND OF CONTEST! GET A GRIP OUT OF IT ALREADY!!” she scolded me. “Everyone knows that you are cute without doing something like this.”

“BUT EVERYONE WAS LAUGHING AT ME! People don’t understand me. They say that I’m already old enough not to appreciate cute things. They think of me as someone childish just because I like those stuff.”  I cutted her. “I only like cute things. So if I could get a lot of people to acknowledge that I am cute, then I thought that I could impress those that laughed at me.”

“Do you really think so?” Seohyun stood up. “If you want to impress them, then face them straight on.”

I was taken aback by what she said. Then the tears started falling continuously on my face.

“I don’t know what happened to you in the past, but you’re cute the way you are Hara-ssi” Seohyun pulled me to a hug. Then I cried my heart out on her shoulders.

END OF POV

9PM along the streets..

“Yah, Seo Joo Hyun, why did you punch me a while ago?” Kyuhyun asked while touching his cheek.

“That’s just right for you, you ert” Seohyun answered angrily. “And how dare you do something like that to a middle schooler.”

“I was just scaring her a little. It’s a warning not to mess around with me” Kyuhyun said seriously. “Why? are you jealous?”

“Pssh..why would I be jealous?” she said

“Cause I’m you’re master” he said

“You’re so full of yourself Kyuhyun”

Kyuhyun walked in front of her and stopped. He looked at her in the eyes. “Don’t worry, you’re just the one”

“Like I care. Why do you enjoy teasing me, huh?” Seohyun passed by his side and walked away.

Why do you always misunderstand my intentions Seo?

 The next day..

“Oh, looks like you went to school today Hara-ssi” Seohyun said while they were eating ice cream in the park

“It’s suffocating to be at home. Not like it’s so different in school. I don’t understand why they deny what I like. It is ridiculous that I shouldn’t like them just because I’m old enough. That’s why I hate everyone. I can’t come to like anyone.” Hara said

“If you ask me, I like you. It’s refreshing to watch you.” Seohyun said with a smile

“Huh? Well, I hate you-”

“I know” Seohyun said with a forcing a smile

“You’re really different”

“Yeah, and I like it..haha” Seohyun exclaimed

Then the rain suddenly fell. Few drops until it became thousands.

“OOpps, it’s raining. Let’s take a shade in that stall” Seohyun said and grabbed hara’s hand.

“Aissh, weather reports are never right.” Hara complained

Seohyun started to dry himself with her handkerchief.

“Hara-ssi, you don’t have anything to dry yourself?” Seohyun asked

“I do, but I don’t want to use it. It’s my cutest handkerchief” Hara answered

“Ah, then I’ll dry you with my handkerchief.” Seohyun smiled at her

“SNATCHER!!!HELP!!” someone screamed

“ Yah, stop right there.” Seohyun shouted

“Yah, what are you doing?” Hara said

“You won’t stop huh? then I’ll use force” Seohyun said then threw the man to the ground

And that’s how they captured the snatcher.

While Hara and Seohyun were walking back home.

“You’re crazy to challenge an adult man.” Hara told Seohyun

“Am I too weird? or am I too masculine for a girl? Mianhae, I’m just like this so if I made you worry, I’ll apologize. People yell at me a lot and tell me to act more feminine.” Seohyun said then he remembered something someone had said.

Stop trying to act. You’re fine the way you are.

“But I believe, it’s the best to be the way you are” Seohyun finally said.

“Even so, I don’t accept girls who don’t put effort into becoming a good woman. if you don’t polish yourself, you’ll eventually get dumped and cry over it?” Hara said

“Dump by who? Seohyun asked

“Kyuhyun oppa”

“We’re not like that”

“But he sees you as more than just friends”

“Not true. He’s just teasing me and having fun”

“I sympathize with him a little right now” hara whispered

“huh, did you say something”
