Wednesday, after class..at the café where the Pabo Trio works…

Yesung shook their piggy bank where they placed their savings. “Oooh, we’ve saved up pretty well”

“Soon, our dream will come true” KangIn said

“Our dream! Dream! Maid Latte’s full menu and..” Eunhyuk said dreamily

“We will accumulate the points and challenge Seohyun-ssi in a game.” they all said

“We won’t lose this time” Eunhyuk said

“The only thing we’re going for is a photo with Seohyun-ssi” Yesung said

“Okay, time to work.”KangIn said

“Yesung-ssi, you better not break plates today” Eunhyuk reminded Yesung

“You, too. Don’t make any wrong orders.” Yesung retorted

“Oh, look, we have customers.” KangIn said when the door opened

“Got to guide them in” Yesung said

“Haa?!?” they all said when they saw Seohyun, Yuri and Sooyoung

Meanwhile, Seohyun, Sooyoung and Yuri went to a vacant table. Yuri got her small mirror and looked at her face.

“neh, Sooyoung, is my hair okay?” Yuri asked

“That’s the eight time you’ve asked that question” Sooyoung said irritatingly

“Yah! why are you like that? Today is a special day” Yuri said. “Seohyun-ah, Sooyoung is being cold to me”

“It looks nice Yuri” Seohyun said with a smile. “It’s perfect”

“Really? Thanks Seo” Yuri smiled brightly

Meanwhile at the counter..

“What a surprise” KangIn said

“I’ve never thought that Seohyun-ssi would come” Yesung said

“Is there something going on today? Eunhyuk asked

“Okay let me take the order” Yesung suddenly said and started to fix his hair

“Wait, let me go” Eunhyuk said

“No, I should be the one” KangIn said

Then the Pabo trio started to fight

“I’m going!!” Eunhyuk said

“No, you make so many mistakes” Yesung protested

“What did you say???”

“You got a problem?!”

Then suddenly the door opened again.

“Huh?”

“Minho-ssi!!” Yuri called to the 3 members of Shinee

The three looked towards the direction of the voice.

“Hey” Minho smiled and waved at her.

So, he’s the one that Yuri likes. Seohyun thought to herself

Meanwhile, the Pabo trio..

“What is this?” Yesung asked

“What’s the meeting about? It’s like a triple date.” Eunhyuk said

Back to the conversation..

Yuri, Sooyoung and Seohyun introduced themselves.

“Time for us to introduce ourselves” Onew announced. “I’m Onew, the leader of the group”

“I’m Jonghyun, nice to meet you”

“And I’m Minho, the maknae” Minho introduced. “Oh, right Yuri-ssi, this is a gift for you. It’s the poster you were talking about the other day.”

“Really” Yuri asked happily. “This is really great. Kamsahamnida!!”

Wow, Yuri sure is hyped up. I can’t keep up with her. Seohyun said in her mind. Uh? Sooyoung. Seohyun looked at Sooyoung but she was busy reading a book totally ignoring everything that’s happening. She’s being oblivious.

“This really isn’t a dream right?” Yuri asked

“About what?” Jonghyun asked

“How all of you are sitting in front of me” Yuri joyfully said. “I still can’t believe it. I’m glad I became your fan”

“Hehe you’re overreacting” Onew said

“Not at all” Yuri said. “I really like all of you. When Minho-ssi called out to me, I was so happy, I thought my heart would stop”

Seohyun looked at Yuri then smiled. It’s not a big deal if I can’t keep up with her. Yuri in love is cute.

A little while later..Minho and Onew excused themselves to go in the washroom.

“She brought along only two friends. We shouldn’t have brought many tickets. Let’s stop this menial fan service already. We’re getting enough of an audience base.” Minho irritatingly said

“Hey, how could you say that.” Onew said. “Looks like she’s totally fallen for you”

“I like the other girl, you know” Minho said. “Her name is Seohyun-ssi, right? Maybe I’ll make her mine” Minho said with a grin.

Outside the washroom, the Pabo trio were eavesdropping..

“WHAT???” The 3 said

“Make Seohyun-ssi…”Eunhyuk uttered

“HIS?” Yesung completed

“What the hell!!” KangIn said

“ahhh Seohyun-ssi” they all cried

SEOHYUN’S POV

“To your live performance?” I asked

“Yeah, what do you think, Seohyun-ssi?” Minho asked. “I’m sure it will be fun”

“Well, I don’t have much free time” I said kindly

“How about you?” Jonghyun asked Sooyoung

“No, thanks” Sooyoung replied still focused on her book

“What a waste” Yuri interrupted. “These tickets are really hard to get, right Minho-ssi?”

“So, you think you can make it, Seohyun-ssi?” Minho-ssi ignored Yuri and I saw Yuri was really astonished.

“We’ll I don’t have the money to, anyways?” I said uneasily

“Then keep that ticket” he said

I looked at Yuri and she forced a smile at me.

“Um..w-will you be going Yuri?” I asked.

“Of course” she said

“Yeah. I always see you in our performances” Onew said

“I see. You’re such a perfect fan” I complimented Yuri. “I always hear her talking about Shinee. She really likes you”

“So Seohyun-ssi, will you come?” Minho interrupted

“uh? Please excuse me for a while I’ll just go to the washroom.” I avoided

At the girl’s washroom..

Am I mistaking things? It seems that Minho-ssi keeps on talking to me. How can I get him to face Yuri?

I heaved a big sigh as I stepped out the washroom.

“Hi there!” I met Minho and Onew

“What are you doing here?” I asked

“Well I wanted to chat with you a bit” Minho answered

“Then we can do that in our table” I defended

“No, since they are having their own fun” Minho said

“What are you talking about? Don’t you understand Yuri’s feelings?” I asked

“yeah, but I have no interest in her” he replied coldly

“The why did you ask her out?” I asked angrily

“As fan service obviously” Minho said

“She seems pretty serious about him, so I’m sure she’ll get the hint with this” Onew said

“I can’t deal with every girl, so I need to reject her sooner than later” Minho said arrogantly

“You can’t be serious” I said

“You think I’m joking?” Minho asked. “This is kindness. I’m being considerate to my fans. If it’s early on, it wouldn’t hurt too much, right?”

 “Being considerate?” I asked

“Hey, Minho stop that” Onew said

“But then, if you become our fan, I might change my mind” Minho said as he touched my hair

My eyes grew wide with what I’ve heard. I’ve never thought that people could be this heartless. Suddenly a metal tray came in between our faces.

“Uh?” he uttered in surprise

“I’m sorry for the wait. But may I take your order?” Kyuhyun asked

“Kyuhyun, why are you here?” I asked in shock

“What’s with this waiter?” Minho irritatingly said. “Is he someone you know, Seohyun-ssi?”

“Her boyfriend maybe. Just think of the timing” Onew said

“No! He’s not” I disagreed

“THEN, WHAT ARE YOU?!” Minho asked

Kyuhyun looked at him with a smirk. “Just her stalker”

“Wait, He’s just a..a s-stalker bu..but not really” I stuttered. “He’s um..how do I say it?”

Minho looked at Kyuhyun.

“Whatever. What a drag. Enjoy your time” he commented and they walked back to our table

“I’m a stalker but not, so what am I?” Kyuhyun started to tease again

“Yah, you, what are you doing here, anyways? When did you start working here?” I evaded the question

“I’m not” he answered

“Then, that uniform..” I said

FLASHBACK

Kyuhun saw the Pabo Trio eavesdropping on the men’s washroom

 “WHAT???” The 3 said

“Make Seohyun-ssi…”Eunhyuk uttered

“HIS?” Yesung completed

“What the hell!!” KangIn said

“ahhh Seohyun-ssi” they all cried

When they turned around they saw Kyuhyun with a deathly glare.

“Kyuhyun-ssi..?” the pabo trio asked in fear

“Eunhyuk-ssi, could I borrow your uniform?” Kyuhyun asked but more like threatened Eunhyuk

“W-wae..Wae-yo?” Eunhyuk asked nervously

“Cause someone’s gonna go home badly beaten if I don’t get a uniform.” Kyuhyun said sarcastically scary.

“U.uhm..here take it. Use it all you want.” Eunhyuk said and Kyuhyun went to change

“Kyuhyun-ssi sure is scary” Yesung said

“I happened to run across a person I know” Kyuhyun answered. “Then I felt like ripping the clothes off him.”

“I think you’re really messed up” Seohyun said

Kyuhyun’s face suddenly became serious. “What can I do? There are times when I feel annoyed too.”

“But just because you’re annoyed--”

Seohyun was cut in her words when Kyuhyun suddenly whispered to her. “Besides, I’m really possessive. I can’t overlook things like this.”

Seohyun blushed. “Don’t get me wrong. I’m here because of Yuri. She was looking forward for this day. Yet this is just…”

“Hmmk, look at that face of yours, Seo.” Kyuhyun noticed that Seohyun was blushing

Seohyun slightly covered her face with one hand. “What should I do? I am not familiar with things like these. I just don’t know the best way to handle this.”

“Best neh?” Kyuhyun said. “I don’t think anyone knows that”

Kyuhyun gave her a calming pat on the head before going away.

What’s up with him? He sure enjoys patting my head.

Back to where Yuri and the others were…

An awkward silence prevailed so Yuri tried to start a conversation.

“Minho-ssi, you’ll be singing a new song in the performance, right?” Yuri asked

“Oh yeah” He said boredly looking outside

“I’m really looking forward to it” Yuri still tried to be cheerful.

“okay”

“Uhm, what kind of song is it?” Yuri asked again

“I don’t know” Minho still answered uninterestingly

“Ah, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be asking this right?” Yuri apologized but Minho just yawned. Yuri just looked down.

“Hey” Minho called

“Yes!” she became alert again

“You think you can do anything about this?” Minho asked

“Eh?”

“You are close friends with her, right?

“Yes”

“Then, bring her to our performance”

“Uhm, Seohyun-ssi is busy with many things. She’s the Student Council President too.” Yuri explained

“Eh?” Minho suddenly became interested. “Really? Seohyun-ssi is the President? That’s so cool. She’s cute, stylish and the SC prez as well. That’s pretty awesome. Hey! Do you think it will help if her bestfriend Yuri-ssi would beg her?” Minho asked. “Or perhaps not?”

Yuri suddenly felt down.Then Seohyun came back.

“Seohyun-ssi, welcome back!” Minho said

Seohyun took her seat beside Sakura.

“Neh, Seohyun-ssi, you think you can come to the performance with me?” Yuri cheerlessly asked.

“Ehh?”

“I’ll help out with your work at the student council so..”

“Yuri-ssi?” Seohyun butted

Yuri looked at her with a forced smile. “You see, Minho-ssi really likes you to come.” Then Yuri looked down. “While you were gone, we kept talking about you. Minho really wants you to come”

Seohyun gave Minho an angry stare but Minho just smirked at her.

“I heard you are the SC prez. Someone who works hard and diligently needs some break.” Minho said. “If you can’t come, we should go out on a date for once.” Minho arrogantly said.

YURI’S POV

“You’re the type that appears diligent but is actually a party animal right?” Minho started to insult Seohyun. But Yuri noticed that Seohyun did not do anything other than give dagger looks on Minho.

“I wonder if smart girls are good at taking care of guys, too.” Minho did not stop

“Hey, Minho-ssi!” Onew-ssi tried to stop him but he still continued on his rants.

“Was the guy a while ago someone you like to party with also?” Minho mocked.

Seohyun is not like that. She’s really kind and diligent. I said to myself.

“You two really had to put on a show there. Oh, I don’t hear an excuse, so did I hit the Bull’s eye? I never knew that Kyunghee’s SC prez is a party animal” Minho continued to mock

“STOP IT!!!!” I angrily stood up and slammed my hands on the table to stop Minho. “Please don’t talk about Seohyun-ssi like that.” I said in tears

“Yuri-ssi” Minho called. “Do you hate me now?” Minho even dared to ask

“Hey, Minho, I always told you to take better care of your fans” Jonghyun reminded him

“Yea, Yea, sales activity right?” Minho said

“Things like that make me sick” Seohyun interrupted. “Is this your way of being considerate?” Seohyun stood up from her seat. “I’ve never seen such horrible sense of consideration. I can’t even comprehend it. Yuri was looking forward to this day so much. And to trample her feelings like this…”

“What? Do you dislike me now too, Seohyun-ssi?” Minho asked

“I HATE YOU! I TOTALLY DESPISE YOU!” Seohyun said and grabbed Minho’s collar. “I’ll never..LET YOU HAVE YURI!!”

7:20 pm..After the Fanmeeting…in a park

“Mianhae” Seohyun bowed as she apologized to the fuming Sooyoung

“NO, I WILL YELL AT YOU!” Sooyoung angrily said. “YAH!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU TWO ARE DOING YELLING SO LOUDLY IN A CAFÉ!??! EVEN IF YOU WERE ANGRY, THINK OF THE TROUBLE YOU CAUSE TO OTHER PEOPLE!!! YOU NEED MORE PATIENCE SEOHYUN-SSI!!”

“Mianhae” Seohyun bowed again

“AND YOU YURI-SSI. DID YOU FORGET WHAT I’VE TOLD YOU BEFORE? I TOLD YOU THAT YOU ARE EASILY TRICKED, SO YOU SHOULD CHOOSE MEN CAREFULLY!!” Sooyoung ranted

Yuri was still crying. “Waaa!! I thought I had” she said in between her cries.

“DEVELOP A BETTER EYE FOR MEN THEN!!” Sooyoung answered

“I’ve never seen Sooyoung so angry like this” Seohyun observed

“I sat through such a stressful environment. I was on my limits too” Sooyoung said

“Sooyoung is not kind at all” Yuri said still crying

“BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WON’T LEARN IF I’M NICE WITH YOU” Sooyoung continued to lecture

“Sooyoung, let her off the hook now, okay?” Seohyun suggested

“Seohyun!” Yuri called as she ran towards Seohyun to hug her. Yuri hugged Seohyun tighter as she continued to cry on her chest.

“Ah..well..”Seohyun panicked at the sudden gesture of Yuri. She did not know what to say to comfort her friend so she just gave Yuri a calming pat on the head.

Yuri abruptly stopped crying and looked at Seohyun. Seohyun was smiling at her while patting her head.

“Next time, I’ll choose someone who will pat my head like this!” Yuri said as she embraced Seohyun again.

7:45 pm, along the streets..

SEOHYUN’S POV

I was crossing the street when I thought of Yuri.

Next time, I’ll choose someone who will pat my head like this. I remembered what she said

‘Choose someone to pat my head’, neh? I hope Yuri will find a good person soon.

On the other side of the street, I saw Kyuhyun leaning on the street post. He faced my direction when he saw me.

“You’re finally back!” I heard Kyuhyun say. “You sure took your sweet time, neh Seo?”

Then I remembered what happened in the café a while ago, on how Kyuhyun-ssi gave me a pat on the head just like what he always does. I unconsciously touched my head where Kyuhyun usually pats it.

The next thing I knew was that he approached me and worriedly asked, “Is something wrong with your head?”

I realized that I was still touching my head so I removed it immediately. “Uh..It’s nothing” I said. “Besides, why are you waiting?”

“Don’t let it bother you. I’m just a stalker.” He answered. “Since I’m your stalker, maybe I should follow you to your home” He started to tease again

“DON’T YOU DARE!”

“Don’t I always tell you to grow up a little?!” Onew scolded Minho

“Aissh, Onew-hyung, you sound like my dad” Minho complained
