The employees of Maid latte were having a meeting..

“I called for a meeting because I want to propose something” Taeyeon said.

“What is it, Manager?” Tiffany said

“I was thinking of coming up with something different to attract more customers to the café. I think we can do something different at least once in a month so that our customers would not be bored”

“So..” Yoona said

“So for this month I am planning to hold a Little Dongsaeng’s Day” Taeyeon answered

“Little Dongsaeng’s Day?” they all asked

“Yea, instead of the usual maid, I would like you all to dress like little sisters. I think little sisters are a mixture of soothing and adorable characters. It would give our customers a relaxed atmosphere.” Taeyeon said

“I think it’s a good idea” Tiffany said

“Yeah, for a change” the other’s said

“Okay, let’s hold the Little Dongsaeng’s Day next week” Taeyeon announced

“Deh!!” everyone agreed

In one corner, Seohyun was wondering how on earth would she do that. She doesn’t know how to act one.

“Oh, this is a big problem” she whispered to herself

“Seo, is there something wrong?” Hyohyeon asked

“Aniyo unnie” seohyun answered

“Then the meeting is adjourned” Taeyeon announced. “Thanks for the hard work everyone!!!”

“Deh! Kamsahamnida!” everyone bid goodbye and prepared to knock off work.

Everyone went out of the backdoor and one by one the employees went home. Seohyun was on her way to the train station when..

“Yo, Prez..what took you so long? I was waiting for you.” Kyuhyun asked

“Aish. Cho Kyuhyun. I told you not to wait for me, aren’t you listening?” Seohyun said

“I felt like waiting for you that’s why” Kyuhyn answered

“Then don’t complain to me why you waited so long. It’s your fault.” Seohyun said then she looked at him. “And it seems that you enjoy stalking on me huh?” she asked with an icy glare

“That’s because I’m your MASTER and you are my MAID!” Kyuhyun teased

“Aish, YOU!!” she said and attempted to punch him but he evaded her attack. “I can go home alone. You go home now!”

“deh! See you tomorrow Seo!” Kyuhyun waved at her and walked away

After a few minutes, Seohyun reached their home.

“I’m home” seohyun announced

“Welcome home, unnie!” Suzy said

Seohyun saw her sister infront of the table reading a magazine. She went infront of her and observed her.

Maybe I can make my sister as a reference for the Little Dongsaeng’s Day. Seohyun thought

After some time observing, Suzy noticed that her sister was looking at her all the while.

“Unnie, what are you doing. It looks creepy” Suzy said coldly

“Oh, just ignore me, go on with what you’re doing” seohyun answered

“In that case, I won’t mind you then” Suzy answered. “oh , I remember, between kimchi, vegetables and goguma, what would you prefer to have unnie?”

“Is that a prized contest again?”

Suzy nodded.

Sigh. This won’t do. I can’t use her as a reference. Seohyun disappointedly thought.

The next day at maid latte..

“Not a maid but a little sister.. I still can’t imagine what I’ll do” Seoyhun worriedly said

“Then Seo, would you care to give it a try right now?” taeyeon encouraged her

“You should probably change your hairstyle to something like that of the little children we see in the park” Tiffany suggested

“A twintail would probably suit you best Seo” Yoona said. “Instead of calling the customers Master, we can call them OPPA for guys and Unnie for females.”

Then Hyoyeon fixed Seohyun’s hair into Twintails

“You’re so cute Seohyun” Tiffany praised

Seohyun blushed and felt embarrassed of how she looked

“Try calling the customers Oppa” Yoona said

“O-Op-pa” Seohyun said awkwardly

“What are you doing Seohyun? Do it properly” Yoona’s alter ego was on.

“Yoona sure is very strict when it comes to this” Taeyeon said

“Yeah, she’s very passionate” Hyoyeon said

“Follow after me! Welcome home oppa” Yoona showed a cute example

“W-Wel-come Home O-Op-pa” SEohyun said stutteringly. She was disappointed of herself. “Come on, don’t we all have something that’s not our thing? This is a little too extreme for me”

“You’re going to use that as an excuse for not being competent enough for your job?” Yoona asked sarcastically.

“Yoona-ssi!” Tiffany said

“I’ve been meaning to say this for a while. I don’t mind if you’re using your aloofness as your selling point but isn’t it common sense to put extra effort into learning if you’re being hired to work?” Yoona said evilly

“Oh there goes her alter ego again, Black Yoona” Taeyeon worriedly said

“You accept it after someone tells you you’re fine the way you are, not daring to take a step out from your comfort zone. That’s absolute foolishness. Quit acting so spoiled, kid” Yoona continued and stepped closer to Seohyun who was now sweating nervously on the sudden change of Yoona

“uhh?!!” Seohyun was speechless

After Yoona gave Seohyun a lecture, Seohyun knocked off work..Seohyun was depressed walking away when..

“SEOHYUUUUN!!” Taeyeon shouted while running towards Seohyun

Seohyun stopped walking and turned to the person calling her.

“Hang on. Don’t worry about it too much. If you really can’t do it, we can change your shift. You can just make up for it in the next event.” Taeyeon said panting. “ Oh, that reminds me, our next event is Maid Ranger’s Day! I really wanted to be the pink ranger but Yoona insisted that she’s going to be pink. What color would you like to be, Seo? Taeyeon asked excitedly

“It doesn’t really matter to me. Anything is fine!” Seohyun said

“You’re already done for today?” Seohyun heard someone from her back

“KYUHYUN?!” Seohyun said startled

“Ommo, you’re the one who always comes to see Seohyun-ssi! So you’re name is Kyuhyun-ssi!” Taeyeon happily said. “Oh yeah, maybe you might know! What color should Seohyun-ssi represent?”

“Color?” Kyuhyun asked

“Hmm..We’re going to have a Maid Ranger’s day as the next event of the café, so I was wondering what would be best for Seo. I personally thought lavender or sky blue would be best but that would overlap with the other girls’ choices. I’m thinking of making maid uniforms that differ in color.” Taeyeon explained

“Then, a transparent see-through, please” Kyuhyun said seriously

“Shut up, ert!” Seohyun scolded

“Well, well, you don’t have to answer right away. Could you give yourself some time to think about it?” Taeyeon stopped the two from fighting

“Okay” Kyuhyun answered

“Kamsahamnida! Then I’ll be counting on you Kyuhyun-ssi.” Taeyeon said and went back to the café

“Transparent see-through huh?” Seohyun said. “You’re such a ert”

Kyuhyun put her hands around Sehyun’s shoulder. “I was just kidding, Seohyun” Kyuhyun said

“Don’t call me Seohyun we’re not even close. And could you remove your hand from me” she said with a glare

“I don’t want to” Kyuhyun answered

“Alright! That’s it!” and Seohyun tried to remove his hand but Kyuhyun just tightened her hands on seohyun’s shoulder

“I won’t remove this until you allow me to call you Seohyun or Seo” Kyuhyun smiled

“Aissh, Araso.  Can you remove it now?” Seohyun said

“Of course. Whatever you say.” Kyuhyun said and removed his hand. “Go home safely Seo! And by the way you can also call me Kyuhyun or Kyu or…Oppa” He teased

“Can you just go home now? You’re so annoying” she said irritatingly

“Okay annyeong” Kyuhyun waved at her and rode the train.

“Aissh you’re such a nuisance, Cho Kyuhyun” Seohyun whispered and got in to the other train.

The next day at school, the Pabo Trio was having a meeting at the back of one of the classrooms. They were talking about a gift for Seohyun as a peace offering.

“I think we should just give her a portrait and attach a message on it saying that we’re sorry” Eunhyuk suggested

“That’s great! But how would we do that?” KangIn asked

“ You don’t know but I’m actually good at drawing” Eunhyuk boasted and started to sketch Seohyun’s face with a flower on her hair.

“Oh, you’re really good on this Eunhyuk” Yesung praised

Then someone grabbed the paper where Eunhyuk drew a portrait of Seohyun

“Ohhh?!” the three said

“This is pretty good” Kyuhyun said

“K-Kyuhyun-ssi , please don’t punish us” the three pleaded

“I won’t punish you but then what color would this flower be?” Kyuhyun asked referring to the flower on Seohyun’s portrait

“Flower?”

“color?”

“Eh, why so sudden?”

The Pabo Trio asked

“Question: What’s the color that would suit Seohyun-ssi, and at the same time can express her? You have ten seconds to answer. 10, 9, 8,3,2,…”

“eehhh? I think it should be red because it represents her passionate air and strength of feminity” Yesung answered

“I think it should be purple because she has both coolness and maturity.” Eunhyuk disagreed

“I vote for black because it would look best on that well knit figure of hers!” KagIn said

“Uhmm” Kyuhyun thought. “Different people have different opinions” he said and left the Pabo trio still arguing on the color that suits Seohyun

At the SC office..

“Ryeowook-ssi, what do you usually talk about with your little sister?” Seohyun asked

“The ordinary stuffs I guess. Why did you suddenly ask, Prez?” Ryeowook said

“Oh, nothing I was just wondering”

“Okay, then I’ll go ahead”

“Okay”

Ryeowook already went to his next class and Seohyun saw the magazines which were confiscated and she saw that there were magazines that talks about little sisters so she opened it but..

“Prez..” Kyuhyun called

“I-I was just looking on the trend on the confiscated to-” She stutteringly explained. “Oh it’s just you Kyuhyun” Seohyun sighed in relief

“So, what were you looking at?” Kyuhyun asked

“None of your business” She answered

At lunchtime..

“Siblings?” Yuri asked

“I have some. Have I never told you?” Sooyoung said. “I’ve got an older brother and a little sister”

“You have an older brother?” Seohyun asked

“Yea, what’s the matter?” Sooyoung asked

“Huh? A-aniyo, well, you see I don’t have any brothers.” Seohyun explained. “I was just wondering how it would feel like. So, do you two get along well?”

“We’re not on bad terms but we’re not on great terms either.” Sooyoung answered

“And what about you Yuri?” Seohyun asked

“I have an older sister and we get along sooo well. We do things together.”

Oh, so both Sooyoung and Yuri are both dongsaengs. Watching them does soothe me, now that I think about it. Well I guess, it’s not simply because they are little sisters, I guess Taeyeon unnie wants to create a place that would give the same kind of soothing feeling. Seohyun thought

“Seo, is there something wrong? You’re spacing out.” Yuri worried

“Aniyo, I was just thinking of how cute you two are” She said and smiled at them

“Aigoo..Seo” Yuri and Sooyoung said and hugged Seohyun

At the SC office..

Kyuhyun was sitting on the table looking at Seohyun who was currently reading her notes because her class has an exam the next period.

“Aissh, What are you looking at?” She said annoyed to Kyuhyun

“Just making an observation. I was wondering what color you’d be” he said

“I told you just pick any color! Anything other than transparent” then she looked away

“I guess your mind is filled with OPPA and UNNIE right now” he said

“Shut up!”

“Don’t you have a little sister? Shouldn’t it be easy for you to come up with the right image?”

“Mine isn’t the typical one” Seohyun put her palm on her chin

“If you can’t do it, why don’t you ask them to change your shift? Just take the day off”

“I don’t want to let out the words like ‘it’s impossible’ or ‘I can’t do it’ so easily. And what makes maid latte different from regular cafés is that it gives its customers entertainment and relaxation that can’t be experienced in daily life. In any case it’s a place where you can feel a special atmosphere. I finally realized that the staff are encouraged to create that atmosphere. That’s why I’m going to act like a soothing charac..” Seohyun was cut

“Then isn’t that all the more the reason not to overwork yourself?” Kyuhyun said

“What? What do you mean?”

“I think you’re fine the way you are.” Kyuhyun stood up and faced Seohyun. “If your normal self was my little sister..”

“If I were your sister?” seohyun asked

Kyuhyun placed both of his hands on the table and leaned closer to Seohyun.

“I’d be so ” Kyuhyun whispered

SILENCE..

“I’d take pictures of your sleeping face daily and put it in a photo album” Kyuhyun mocked

“Get away” and pushed kyuhyun slightly. “ In other words, you’re just a creep.”

The Little Sister’s Day..

“Welcome Home, Oppa!” Seohyun greeted cutely

“She still has a hint of awkwardness but she sounds really natural.” Taeyeon said

“I’ll acknowledge the fact that she put an effort into becoming a little sister character.” Yoona said

The chimes on the front door resounded then..

“Welcome home, O-op-pa!” Seohyun saw Kyuhyun walk in the café and sat in one table

“S-Something wrong?” Seohyun asked Kyuhyun

“I should be asking you that, Seo” Kyuhyun answered a bit annoyed

“huh?”

“You never call me Oppa. Being so hyped up all of a sudden is a little creepy.” Kyuhyun looked at her

Seohyun was holding back not to talk back to the annoying person infront of her.

“What are you thinking about o-op-pa. I’m always like this” she said still continuing the act. “Here’s your water” Seohyun placed the water on the table irritatingly

“Where did you get that water? I only drink water from Alps. Could you get me some?” Kyuhyun continued teasing her.

“Come on, stop being so mean. Please don’t give Seo so much trouble, oppa” she said still controlling her anger. “Anyway what would you like to eat today?”

“Oppa would like to eat a roasted lobster.” Kyuhyun ordered something that was not on the menu

“Come on stop being so unreasonable. I keep asking you not to trouble Seohyun” Seohyun said

“Seo, you shouldn’t be acting so spoiled, saying you can’t do this and that. And stop giving complaints to your oppa.”

“I DID NOT COMPLAIN YOU ARROGANT EVIL BRAT!!!” she angrily said to kyuhyun

Silence, and then all eyes were on them.

“Uh-oh, she finally snapped.”Hyoyeon said

“You seem to be in a bad mood today, so I’m gonna leave.” Kyuhyun stood up and walked out

9 pm maid latte..

“Good work everyone” Taeyeon said

“You know I didn’t expect her to put in so much effort as she did” Yoona said

“Yeah, but that’s her nature isn’t it” Tiffany said

“Although I wanted to see more of her cute side there, it’s just that it’s not Seo. The real Seo is the tough and strong one” Hyoyeon said

“Because you know, Seohyun…is cutest when she’s next to Kyuhyun-ssi” Taeyeon dreamingly said

Meanwhile, Kyuhyun and Seohyun were walking to the train station together.

“Aren’t you going to thank me?” Kyuhyun asked

“Why should I?” Seohyun said

“It was a success. Thanks to me, right?”

Seohyun looked down. “I would hardly consider that as a success. It was an embarrassing display of my inability. When I’m putting everything into acting, I lose the ability to make calm decisions, causing me to flip out like I did.” Seohyun said

“So, stop trying to act. You’re fine the way you are.” Kyuhyun looked at her

“There’s no way I can soothe anyone by always acting the way I usually do.” Seohyun still looking down.

“Really? I think you’d make the greatest sister in the world.”

“Shut up, you stupid.”

The next day at school…

KYUHYUN’S POV

I found a letter in my locker. It’s from a girl and she wants me to meet her behind the building of the Library.

“Oh, here comes Kyuhyun-ssi” a girl said

“Good luck Gyuri, you can do it. Fighting!” another girl said

The girl named Gyuri approached me.

“Can I help you?” I asked

“Yes, I-I’m sorry for calling you out here” Gyuri said. “W-Well there’s something I want to tell you upfront..”

I saw in my peripheral vision two guys fighting inside the library. They were both in a ladder and they were throwing books at each other. Then I saw Seohyun approach them and scolded them.

“The thing is, I’ve always have feelings for you even before I entered this school.” Gyuri continued while her head was bent down

I looked towards the window of the library then suddenly one of the metal ladders began to sway and the guy on the ladder was falling down. Seohyun covered the guy who fell with her right arm before the ladder lands on the guy. But unfortunately, the arm that Seohyun used to cover the guy was the one that received the impact from the metal ladder.

“Will you go out with me?” Gyuri blurted out

“That was close. Kwaenchanayo?” I heard Seohyun ask the student who fell

“Kyuhyun Oppa?” Gyuri lifted her face

I looked at the girl.

“I’m sorry but I can’t” Iapologized then turned my back and started to walk away.

“ Waeyo Oppa? I’ll change myself to suit your taste.” Gyuri shouted

I stopped from walking when I heard her and I looked back at the girl.

“But that won’t do…” I said and resumed from walking. I already have someone I really like. I said to myself

It’s just 30 minutes before the break ends. I need to find Seo immediately. I went to the infirmary but she was not there.

“Aissh that girl. What is she thinking not treating her hand.” I said to myself

I went to the second floor of our building. The students were already inside their classrooms. Then I saw her walking towards my direction. I leaned on the wall and waited for her.

“Kyuhyun, the next class is about to begin” I heard her say

“Prez” I approached her and cornered her. I put my hands beside her head. I saw her shocked of what I did. “Please… take off your uniform”

She looked at me with a what-are-you-doing look and said “What..THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING, YOU ERT?”

And she started to kick but luckily I was able to avoid her kicks. Then I grabbed her right hand and squeezed it a bit.

“Ouuucch” she said painfully nearly crying of what I did.

“You see.” I said then I dragged her to the infirmary.

“Sit there.” I said pointing to the chair. I got the first aid kit and told her to remove her blazer.

She removed it and revealed a very swollen arm.

“Were you going to hold in the pain until the next break?” I asked her while treating her hand

“I’m not visibly bleeding or anything” she said

“A strong-minded way of thinking, as expected from you” I told her

“Besides, were you watching that? Your timing is always so good.” she asked me pertaining to the incident that happened a while ago.

I smiled. “It’s not like I can help it. You’re always there wherever I go. It is destiny, I guess. Besides, I’m the one who’s surprised everytime, especially when I see you at school. Most of the time you’re protecting the girls and sweeping off the guys.” I said

“What’s wrong with a girl protecting other girls?” She said

“Did I say there was something wrong with it?” I said bandaging now her arm. “But I didn’t expect you to put your body on line to protect a guy, just like what you did earlier.”

She looked at me. I kept my gaze at the thing I was doing. “What could I do? I couldn’t just sit back and watch.” She said

I was done bandaging her hand. Then I looked at her. “So even if you get hurt really badly, you’d go and save someone regardless of their gender?” I asked her

“Of course” she said and smiled at me. “I’d even go and save you.” She added

I was taken aback of what she said. ‘You’re making me fall for you even more SEO JOO HYUN’ I said to myself.

“I’m glad to hear that from you, Seo.” I said

“You’re making fun of me, aren’t you?” She asked pissed

“Hahaha” I just laughed

 KRiiiiiiiiing. The school bell rang

“Oh it’s time for the next class.” She said then stood up. “By the way, thanks” she said then ran out of the infirmary.

“Anything for you”

Later at Maid Latte..

“Ommo, what happened to your arm Seohyun-ssi” Taeyeon worriedly asked

“Mianhae unnie, something happened at school. Someone made a big deal out of it and applied too much medicine and bandage on it.” Seohyun assured their manager

“I’m surprised you can say that when it was so swollen.” Kyuhyun interrupted

“Kyuhyun?!? Men aren’t allowed inside the employees’ locker room.” Seohyun reprimanded Kyuhyun. “I’m going to go work my shift so hurry up and go home.” Then Seohyun went out of the locker room.

“Let me know if it starts hurting again, Seo” taeyeon said

Taeyeon approached Kyuhyun

“Well then, I’ll be supporting Seohyun throughout the day, so don’t worry” Taeyeon said

“If you help her out so obviously, she’ll just try to work harder. So please don’t let her realize that you are helping her out.” Kyuhyun said

Taeyeon was so amazed of what Kyuhyun said. “You’re so sweet. It must be hard for you, kyuhyun-ssi” Taeyeon asked

“Not really” Kyuhyun said seriously. “I’m just having fun, so I’ve never thought of it as a bother.”

“I guess, the hardworking Seohyun is fun to watch.” Taeyeon said. “Not everyone can put their all into everything they do even if they try. Even so, Seohyun does that to the point that it makes us worry. She’s an outstanding girl who can already do just about everything, but it’s hard to look away from her since you can really tell that she’s trying to work harder. It’s almost like she’s giving you strength to work harder yourself. Isn’t that what makes it fun for you, Kyuhyun-ssi?”

Kyuhyun smiled at the ideas of the very thoughtful manager of Maid latte.

“Oh yeah, I thought of a good color for Seohyun.” Kyuhyun said

“huh?”

“With her will power to proceed on the path she thinks is right, and refusing to let anyone else’s color dye hers..WHITE!”

“Wow that was unexpected.” Taeyeon said

“Why are you still here Cho Kyuhyun? I told you to go home early” SEohyun asked

Kyuhyun tapped her head to stop her from talking.

“Oh and another reason for my choice is because I’d like to dye her with mine.” Then Kyuhyun smirked at Seohyun.

“What are you talking about?” Seohyun asked

“Hey, you’re blushing red.” Kyuhyun teased

“Seohyun-ah, you have a very thoughtful boyfriend” Taeyeon said

“She’s not my boyfriend unnie! He’s just a erted alien”

“Why don’t you say I’m your Master” Kyuhyun teased again

“Yah! Shut up.” Seohyun said
