“Seohyun-ah, I’ve really been meaning to ask you something eversince the Dongguk thing.” Yuri said hesistantly to Seohyun

“What is it Yuri-ssi?” Seohyun asked

“You see, I’ve got three performance tickets and I was wondering if you could come with us with Sooyoung to watch my favorite boy group.” Yuri said

“Really? When would that be” Seohyun asked

“Friday night” Yuri happily said. “Would you come?”

Friday night? but I’ve got work at maid Latte. Seohyun remembered.

“Hmm..Mian, Yuri-ssi but I have plans this Friday night” Seohyun apologized. Yuri somewhat became disappointed. “Don’t worry, next time I’ll come with you. It’s just that I can’t really miss that thing on Friday.”

“That’s okay, I understand. I should’ve let you known ahead of time” Yuri reassured. “But promise me you’ll come next time, neh?”

“Sooyoung, over here!” I waved at Sooyoung when I saw her

“Hey, there are a lot of people here.” Sooyoung said

“I told you, they are quite popular in these areas” I happily said. “Kaja, let’s go nearer the stage” I said and dragged my friend.

I’m thankful that even though Sooyoung is not interested in these kinds of things, she still accompanied me. I looked at her and I gave her a bright smile. She smiled back to me.

After a little while of waiting..

Suddenly the lights faded and all that can be seen were the light sticks the fans were waving.

I heard the fan chants.

“Sooyoung, let’s join the chant” I told Sooyoung

“Yah, I accompanied you here already so stop bickering around, araso?” She said

 “HoOOoooo!!” I was cheering happily when suddenly I saw Choi Minho looked at me. Our eyes were locked together when he suddenly smiled at me. I was so astonished that from then on until the end of the performance, I was speechless. It was just my imagination, right? I just came to myself when Sooyoug nudged my arm.

“Hey Yuri, what are you spacing out there?” Sooyoung nudge my arm. “Aren’t we going on the fan signing?”

“Mian, of course I can’t let the fan signing go” I told Sooyoung. “I’ll get all their signatures.” I happily said.

After the fan signing..

“As gratitude to all the fans, Shinee will have a special fanservice meeting with one of you guys.” an MC announced

“Really??”

“That would be great”

“I hope I’ll get picked”

These were all the fans’ comments.

“Now, to pick the lucky winner, let’s ask the members of Shinee.” the MC asked

“We’ll let Minho-ssi, our maknae choose” Onew said

“Okay, Minho-ssi, please choose one from the fans” the MC said

Minho scattered her gaze to the crowd. My heart was throbbing violently in my chest when he looked at where we were.

“Yuri, I think she’s looking at you.” Sooyoung whispered to me

“A-Ani, I don’t think so” I nervously answered but I hoped he would choose me.

Minho suddenly spoke at the mic. “I’ll choose..” Minho pointed his finger. “..that girl in the pink dress” he said looking at me

I blushed when he winked at me.

“Yuri-ah, you’ve got picked” Sooyoung said to me

“Me?” I can’t believe it

“Please, come up the stage” the MC told me

Everybody cheered and I heard some fans getting envious of me. I was the happiest at that time. When I got at the stage..

“Annyeong” the members of Shinee bowed 90 degrees

“Oh, annyeong” I also bowed 90 degrees.

Then the MC talked to me. “Please introduce yourself”

“Annyeong, Yuri-imnida” I introduced myself

“Everyone, let’s clap for Yuri” the MC said and everyone clapped. I looked at where Sooyoung was. She was smiling at me. “What do you feel now?” the MC asked

“Oh, I’m really happy today. I’m a big fan of Shinee so I’m looking forward to meeting them” I said

“Kamsahamnida!!” the Shinee members said

That moment was so joyful. I’ve also got to shake hands with them. Minho-ssi is really handsome and he seems nice. I reaIly, really like him. I’m looking forward to meeting them again soon.

At school..

“Next Wednesday?” Seohyun asked

“Yeah. Are you available after school” Yuri asked cheerfully. “Let’s go to a party. Yaaaay!!!”

“Apparently, there will be a fanservice meeting with the guys from Yuri’s favorite boy group.” Sooyoung explained.

“Guys from a boy group?” Seohyun asked

“Actually they are just boys from Chungwoon High.” Sooyoung boredly said

“They’re pretty famous here” Yuri said happily. “They said that I should bring friends with me”

“Okay” Seohyun said

“Apparently, Yuri is in-love with the Group’s maknae” Sooyoung said

“Yaha! Stop it Sooyoungie you’re embarrassing me” Yuri said excitedly

“Love?” Seohyun asked

“Yup. I love him.” Yuri said with an eye smile. “So I wanted to introduce him to you” Yuri said shyly. “Is next week no good?” Yuri worriedly asked

“Are you really sure I can come” Seohyun hesitatingly asked

“Of course!” and gave Seohyun a big hug. “Here, you’ve got to listen to their songs before coming to the meeting on Wednesday” Yuri handed Seohyun their CD.

Soehyun looked at the CD. “SHINEE, so it’s this group?”

“Yes, their songs are really happy and touching.” Yuri praised

“You also listened to their songs Sooyoung?” Seohyun asked

“yes” Sooyoung replied

“Was it happy and touching?” Seohyun asked

“I think that depends on the person’s preference.” Sooyoung answered

After class..

Seohyun was consolidating the files on her table.

“Hey, you still haven’t gone home, Prez?” Kyuhyun asked from the door of the SC Office. “Shouldn’t SC works be over now?”

“Yeah, but I have something to do” Seohyun answered without looking at him. “I’m trying to open up a day next week, so I’m trying to finish some work in advance”

“Is something happening next week?” Kyuhyun walked towards Seohyun

“Yuri wants me to go with her after school”

“Just you two?”

“No, Sooyoung is going as well.”

“Who are you seeing?” Kyuhyun suddenly asked

“I don’t remember the name but they’re some kind of a group” Seohyun answered still focused on the Papers

“Is it a male group?” Kyuhyun asked again

“Yeah!”

“So they’re people you don’t know.” Kyuhyun stated. Suddenly, Seohyun got distracted.

“Would you be quiet? I can’t get these papers done. Just go home already.” Seohyun scolded him but Kyuhyun just looked at the paper Seohyun was holding.                                                                   

“That? Should go there.” Kyuhyun pointed a pile of papers

Seohyun placed the paper where Kyuhyun pointed

“So, what will you all do?” Kyuhyun started to ask questions again

“Probably just chat at a café or something” Seohyun shrugged

“That’s..” Kyuhyun whispered

“What?” Seohyun looked at him. “You look like you have something to say”

“Just thinking how rare it is for you to take part in activities like that.” Kyuhyun stated a matter of fact

“You’re right. Middle school was probably the last time I hung out with friends after school.” Seohyun realized. “Maybe that’s why I’m looking forward to this” Seohyun showed a ‘thumbs up’ and a smile

 And why is she that happy? Kyuhyun thought.

The next day at maid Latte..

Seohyun was humming a song of SHinee she listened to last night.

“Is that SHinee?” Taeyeon asked

“You know them unnie?” Seohyun wondered

“Of course! They are quite popular but I just learned of them recently” Taeyeon said. “Because of that, I’m thinking of holding a visual band day here. Isn’t it nice, Seo?”

“Oh” Seohyun said. “I better get back to work, unnie”

“Yeh, work hard Seo” Taeyeon said

“Here’s your omelet rice milady!” Seohyun placed it on the table. “Excuse me for a second”

Seohyun scattered her sight and found something missing.

Come to think of it. I haven’t seen the Pabo Trio around for a while. I hope their being studious at home.

Yuri was always hyped up. She’s really excited about the fanmeeting on Wednesday. At breaktime, she would talk endlessly about Shinee and draw Minho’s face in her notebook. She also sings their songs. Seohyun and Sooyoung were happy seeing Yuri so cheerful being in love.

Yuri left Sooyoung and Seohyun for a while to get some drinks.

“I wasn’t expecting that” Sooyoung said

“That you would come to Yuri’s Fanmeeting with Shinee” Sooyoung replied. “Music is a world totally new to you.”

“It’s not like it’s new to me. I just didn’t have the time but I really do love music. And you know, seeing such a happy Yuri, I wanted to cheer her on.” Seohyun said

“I hope it’ll go well” Sooyoung worriedly said
