“The school’s sports festival is near. Are all the preparations done already?” Seohyun asked the officers.

“The broadcasting department is all set Prez.” the broadcast committee representative said

“We only need to find some materials for the race” the PE representative said

“How about the other committees?” Seohyun asked

“We only need the approval of the principal for the prizes on the different contests Prez” Ryeowook said

“I bet the prizes really would increase the interest of the students in joining the contests seriously” Minsoo commented.

“Yea, I hope so. Everyone should enjoy the Sports Fest this year” Seohyun said

Later at Maid Latte..

“Unnie, can I go undertime for this week?” Seohyun asked

“Wae, Seo?” Taeyeon said

“I really need to prepare for the upcoming Sports Festival at school this week” Seohyun answered. “I’ll make it up to you next week, I promise”

“Wait, let me see” Taeyeon said and looked at the Staff Schedule. “I think I can allow you. We have enough people this week”

“Really unnie?”

“Deh, so you are now permitted”Taeyeon said with a smile

“Thanks a lot unnie.”

8:00 pm..

Seohyun knocked off work a little early and went for her training in preparation for the Sports Fest. She went to jog around the town when Kyuhyun saw her.

“Yo, Seo” Kyuhyun called

Seohyun stopped running and turned to the owner of the voice.

“Neh, Kyuhyun?” Seohyun said. “What are you doing here in times like this?”

“I just went to buy some stuff at the convenient store” Kyuhyun answered showing a bag of things. “How about you?”

“I was just running around” Seohyun replied

“Are you doing that because the sports Fest is coming up?” Kyuhyun asked

“Of course!” Seohyun said with determination. “I’ll finish first in all the races and get all the prizes for the sake of all the girls of Kyunghee!”

At the day of the Sports Fest…

It was a bright and clear day..

“We will now begin Kyunghee’s sports festival!” the PE representative announced over the microphone

“YEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHH!” was the scream that could be heard

“They are all so fired up” Ryeowook observed

“Naturally, Ryeowook-ssi, Kyunghee’s Sports Festival is fought between classes: every class from freshmen to seniors and the girls group.” the PE rep. said. “And the special rules heat things up even more—There’s a prize for each race. The team with the winner will receive the prizes. Prizes include the right to play any music you like for a month during lunch break, right to request a new menu at the cafeteria, extra serving of food during lunch and many others. Besides, the obstacle race comes with a special prize—a kiss from Kwon Yuri!”

“Ahhhh, no way!” Yuri cried

“Give it up Kwon Yuri, you’ve been chosen by the school survey as the No. 1 girl we want to be kissed by” Hankyung said

“huhu I don’t want to do this” Yuri sobbed

“Yuri-ah” Seohyun called. “Mianhae, it’s all my fault. I thought I had banned this reward but it seems like it was officially announced to everyone already”

“Kwon Yuri’s kiss. I, Hankyung will definitely make it mine. Hahaha!” Hankyung said

Yuri looked at Seohyun. “Seohyun-ah, this is too unfair”

“Don’t worry..” Seohyun faced Yuri. “I will protect you” Seohyun assured. “Anyone who goes near Yuri, I will Crush them one by one” Seohyun said in an serious tone

Suddenly everyone felt a very cold aura and ran away from them.

Meanwhile, Class 3-2..

The students are convincing Kyuhyun to participate in the race.

“Kyuhyun-ssi” Changmin called. “Why won’t you run the 1000m race for the class?”

Kyuhyun just stared at them nonchalantly.

“The prize is to have an extra serving of food for lunch for 30 days. Please participate. You’re the best runner in class” a student begged

“I’m not running!” Kyuhyun answered coldly and walked away

“Yeah, he only watched last year too” Changmin said. “Let’s give up and try the best with just us”

“It has finally started, Kyunghee High’s sports Fest, Your announcer for today will be me, Jin Yoo, the broadcasting Rep! Which class will be the winner? The freshmen? The 2^nd Year? the Seniors? or the Girl’s Team? Our first race for today will be the 100m dash! Will she be the winner? The Girl’s team’s Prez Seohyun? All the runners are lining up at the starting point. Who will be getting the right to play any music he likes for a month during lunch break? Let us all watch the race Ladies and gentlemen!!”

“I am going to come in first and play hard rock on the entire school” one racer said

“You won’t be able to do that. Over my dead body!” Seohyun said to him with a glare

“Seohyun Fighting!!!” the Girls Team cheered

BAAng! The signal for the race was fired

“Wow, everyone is running now. So Prez really is the fastest…and GOAL!!” Jin Yoo acted like a commentator. “Our winner, Prez Seohyun!!”

“You’re so cool Seo” Yuri shouted happily.

“You’re amazing Seohyun unnie” the girls from the Freshmen class said

“The peace during the lunch hour is preserved” Sooyoung said

The races continued..Seohyun participated in all the races

“200m dash, first place Girls Team”

“400m race, first place, again the Girls team”

“Girls Team comes in first for the 1500m run too”

Because of the continued winnings of the Girls Team, the other classes complained

“We can’t accept this!!”

 “Forbid them from letting one person do everything” everyone ranted

“But there is no rule that repetitive entry is not allowed” the PE rep explained

“Even though, this is unfair” they still complained

“Unfair?” Seohyun interrupted. “What a funny thing to say. I’m fighting with everything I’ve got” she said still panting. She was breathing labouredly from exhaustion. She sat down to rest a bit.

“Seohyun kwaenchana?” Sooyoung asked

“Deh!!” she said and took deep repeated breaths

“Participants in the Cavalry, please gather up” an announcement was heard

“The Cavalry is next” Sooyoung said

“You’ll get to rest Seo” Yuri said

“Yeah, this contest is a team contest” a 2^nd year girl student said

“You don’t have to compete in it Seo” Yuri said

“I want to win as many prizes as possible and create an environment that is more relaxing for the girls. Mianhae, that we can’t win this contest” Seohyun apologized

All the members of the girls team looked at Seohyun..

“SEohyun-ssi, Gomawoyo” they all said and all of them ran towards her for a group hug. “But for now you need to rest. Leave it to us for the meantime.”

After the Cavalry..

Okay. Next is the 1000m race. I sat out during the Cavalry so I better win this one

“The winner for the 1000m race, first place, Girls Team” Jin Yoo announced

Kyuhyun was watching in a corner when he accidentally eavesdropped on someone else’s conversation.

“Hankyung-ssi, I think beating her to take the first place is impossible” Heechul said

“Don’t worry. I’ll use whatever means it takes to win” Hankyung answered

“We are starting the last race ladies and gentleman, the Obstacle course” Jin Yoo announced. “ The number of participants is unlimited. Who will be the first to go around the school and avoid all the traps? And who will be the one to win the kiss?!”

“I will protect Yuri no matter what!” Seohyun said seriously

“Crap, she looks like she’s ready to kill anyone” Heechul said. “Are we really going to do it, hankyung-ssi?”

“Of course, and by any means”

Kyuhyun’s face immediately turned serious and he started to prepare for the race.

“On your marks, Get set..”

 BaAng!!

“Everyone’s running hard now” Jin Yoo said. “First obstacle is the steep wall. We are already seeing people being eliminated. Next is the tight rope walk. I’m sorry for those who could not make it. “Hankyung-ssi is now taking a big lead” Jin Yoo said

“I must catch up” Seohyun said and starts to run but Kyuhyun stopped her

“It’s cute watching you try so hard” Kyuhyun said. “But can you leave this to me?”

And Kyuhyun ran off.

“He’s fast” Seohyun said. “Uh? I must catch up” and she started to run too.

“We’re at the volleyball court now. Hankyung-ssi is leading the race by himself” Jin Yoo announced

“Alright!” Hankyung said. “At this rate, Kwon Yuri’s kiss is mine”

“That one back there was a bit underhanded wasn’t it, Hankyung-ssi” Kyuhyun said.

Hankyung was amazed that Kyuhyun has already caught up with him.

“What a surprise!!!” Jin Woon said. “Cho Kyuhyun of class 3-2 has caught up with the leader already and Prez Seohyun isn’t far behind too”

Aisssh that girl, jinja. Kyuhyun thought

Kyuhyun and Hankyung are now at the final stretch of the race.

“The two leads are now back in the field.”Jin Yoo announced. “They are now a few meters away from the goal”

“Damn it! Kiss the ground” Hankyung said while he tried to trip Kyuhyun over. Fortunately, Kyuhyun anticipated it and was able to jump over Hankyung’s kick.

“Too bad” Kyuhyun smirked at Hankyung

“GOAL!!” Jin Woo declared. “First place, Class 3-2 Cho Kyuhyun!!”

Hankyung could not believe it and slumped on the ground after being defeated by Kyuhyun. Later, Seohyun finishes at 2^nd place.

“Coming in 2^nd place is President Seohyun!! Which means that Cho Kyuhyun wins the prize to be kissed by Kwon Yuri!” Jin Yoo announced while handing Kyuhyun the ticket for the prize.

“Mianhae Yuri-ah” Seohyun apologized

“It’s fine Seohyun. You’ve fought so much for me” Yuri assured

“Oh, so it’s a ticket to getting kissed?!” Kyuhyun said

“Ehh??” Yuri and Seohyun asked

“Then, I don’t need it!” Kyuhyun said handing the ticket to Seohyun. “Rather than receiving, I prefer doing it” Kyuhyun said with a smirk

“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA??!!?” was everyone’s reaction

“So, the kiss ticket goes to the 2^nd place, Prez Seohyun” Jin Woo said

“Ehh, really?” Yuri asked. “Then, Kiss!” Yuri kissed Seohyun’s cheek.

Out in one corner..

“I should’ve finished in second place..” Hankyung said in regret.

And that’s how Kyunghee High’s Sport’s Fest ended.
