On the day of the festival..

Seohyun reminded the officers of the student council to work well and monitor everything.

“Do your best!”

“Yes, Prez!” they all agreed and everyone dispersed.

Meanwhile, at the storage room..

“Does everyone have their costumes on?”

‘”YES!!!”

“WE WON’T LET PREZ GET ON OUR WAY!” the guys of Class 3-2 shouted

The guys of Class 3-2 were busy talking about their plans when the door suddenly opened.

“Oh, Kyuhyun-ssi” they exclaimed

“Where’s my costume?” Kyuhyun asked

“You’re going to take part of it?!” They all asked

“Deh. I think it is fun” Kyuhyun replied

“Alright! We’ve got the strongest comrade on our side!!” they rejoiced. “Go get Kyuhyun-ssi’s costume”

“Yea, I’ll get it”

They gave Kyuhyun his costume.

“Kyuhyun-ssi you’re so cool!! The sword is plastic but it looks awesome on you” they praised him.

Everything and everyone was doing great in the festival. It seems like everybody is enjoying. The Student Council officers were also busy supervising the different classes.

“Ryewook-ssi, I’ll just go take a look on Class 3-2” Seohyun said

“Yea, Prez” Ryewook answered

Seohyun went to the direction where the café of class 3-2 was.

“The boy’s haven’t complained since then, so I don’t think there should be a problem”

Arriving at the class 3-2, Seohyun was shocked she saw the boys hovering around the girls threatening them to do everything that they say. The room was also very messy and things were scattered everywhere.

“WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?” Seohyun yelled

“Apparently..” she turned to the side where the voice came from. “it’s a battle cosplay café for men. I went along with them because it looked interesting” Kyuhyun said coolly.

Seohyun’s anger burst like a volcano. “All of you, OUT IN THE HALLWAY!!!”

Seohyun gathered all the guys of Class 3-2 in the hallway.

SEOHYUN’S POV

“What on earth is this all about?” I interrogated

“What’s wrong? You said café, so we made it better by adding cosplay.” A guy said

“We asked the girls for their opinions. We want to enjoy the festival too” another one added

“There has to be another way for you to enjoy it. Instead of burdening the girls of what you’re doing, why don’t you guys make yourselves a little more useful.” I scolded them

“Cut the crap”

“Why the hell would we listen to you when all you do is order us around like our moms”

“Whatever we say is futile. You don’t even listen to us”

“Besides, you hate men.”

I was taken aback of what these guys have said.

“Let’s get out of here” the guys said to one another and walked away together.

I stood frozen on my spot. I heard the complaints of the customers inside the café and the panicky voices of the girls left inside. What should I do? The guys won’t cooperate and the girls are starting to panic. Suddenly I remembered something that Kyuhyun said these past few days.

..it wouldn’t hurt if you listen to what the guys have to say once in a while.

You know, if you keep up that hatred to men, they’ll start acting hostile to you.

 In time, you may end up not being able to do a thing.

“So that was what he meant. So, this is all my fault” I said to myself

“Wait!” I called to the guys. Everyone looked at me. “Please help out with the café. I’m begging you” I bowed 90 degrees.

“It’s too late for that” was the answer that I got. Oh crap, what am I going to do? I was so disappointed of what I did so I raised my head and went inside the café.

 “Mian, I’ll help out” I said to the girls of class 3-2

I can apologize later. For now I need to do something about this place. I thought while putting on the apron that the girls prepared.

“Ok, time to work”

“An iced tea for you right? Sorry for the wait!” I served to the customer

“What would you like to order..”

 “Please give us a moment”

I worked hard to help.

“Seohyun-ssi seems so suitable for some reason” the girls said

Meanwhile, the boys are peeping in the window while watching everything that was happening inside the café.

Kyuhyun opened the door of the classroom.

“Kyuhyun-ssi, you’re going in?” a classmate asked

“I think we should help them” he answered and stepped inside

SEOHYUN’S POV

“A cheese tart and lemon tea? Got it.” I took the order

“Can we order too?” another person asked

“Yes, What’s your order MASTER?” I instinctively asked.

“Eh?” the person was shocked at the sudden acknowledgement I gave him

Crap, that word. I was beginning to get nervous when suddenly a person came

“eh?” I said

“Excuse me, another cup of coffee, milady?” Kyuhyun asked the girl with the guy I was taking the order

“Kyuhyun-ssi..” I uttered shocked

“Why are you staring off to space like that?” he asked me which made me come back to myself again. “You’re a maid so you should be working hard.” He added

“Certainly Sir!” I said to him with a smile. You saved me again this time Cho Kyuhyun.

After seeing this, the other guys came in to help as well. Sigh .It’s such a relief. The work inside the café was beginning to lighten up and the customers were also beginning to increase. While I was lost in these thoughts I felt someone bump on me.

“Oh, mianhae, Prez” the guy apologized

I looked at him and he was so afraid that I would scold him or what but instead of doing that..

“Don’t get too crazy, okay?” and I flashed him a big smile

“Prez smiled”

“She smiled”

“She’s pretty cute”

“Yeah” Kyuhyun whispered to me.

“Stop it, you ert” I said pissed.

After making sure that everything was alright, Seohyun made her way back to the other SC officers

“Prez, how was Class 3-2 doing?” Ryewook worriedly asked

“Everything’s fine now” Seohyun answered. “Anyway, I’ll take over of what you’re doing.”

“But..” Ryewook hesitated

“You guys haven’t had the chance to look around the place yet, have you?” Seoyhun asked the Officers.

The officers looked at each other

“What are you waiting for? Go ahead!” she said and they handed the fliers to her. “Enjoy”

“Deh, Kamsahamnida prez” they all said and went away.

One thing was left deeply impressed on Seohyun’s heart today-the thing that Taeyeon said.

Don’t you think it’s wonderful to be able to share good times with each other? If we want our customers to enjoy, we need to have fun too.

And Seohyun finally realized the value of doing what you really want to do and having fun doing it.

It was beginning to get dark and nearly the end of the school festival.

Kyuhyun was walking along the hallway when he noticed Seohyun inside the empty SC Office.

KYUHYUN’S POV

“Prez, aren’t you going to attend the bonfire?” I asked her

“Ommo, you scared me. I was just taking a break for a while.” She said

“I guess I’ll join you” I told her.

Seohyun stood up and approached me.

“Kyuhyun-ssi” she said and I looked at her. “Gomawoyo, you really saved me today.” I was shocked by the sudden act. “Just as you said, I should have listened more to others’ opinions as the SC President. You made me realize a lot of new things again.” she seriously said

“So, I can tell everyone about you being a maid now?” I

“Pabo! This and that are two different matters. And besides you said..”

“Of course..” I cut her words and pinned her to the wall. I held her chin and I leaned closer to her until our faces were just few inches apart “..since you’re my maid and MINE ONLY” I said

I saw her blush upon saying those words.

“Ehhh? Stop it, you idiot!” and she pushed me away and she started walking away.

I just looked at her slowly getting away from me. I smiled secretly to myself

“You keep on surprising me everyday that you’re making me more and more interested of you, Seo.”

I approached the window of the room and saw Seohyun near the bonfire talking to her friends. I stared at her intently, observing everything- what she does and how she looked. Yeah, how pretty she looked that even if my brain tells me not to look at her, my eyes won’t just budge. Blame that to her unique charisma that attracted me to her like a magnet. I have come to like how she talks, how she does everything, how strong-willed she is, how she cares about her friends and family, how she reacts when I and how she pouts when she’s annoyed. I think I can go on with a list. I realized I have gone to like so many things about her, but what I like about her the most is her SMILE. That warm and bright smile of hers. Oh well, she’s just PERFECT.

I placed my hand on my chest and felt that my heart was thumping really hard that I can hear my own heartbeat.  Despite of this, it felt blissful and peaceful…In other words, just WHIMSICAL.
