Kyunghee High..

It was lunch time, Seohyun was enjoying her lunch at one of the benches under the big oak tree at their school when suddenly she was approached by six guys.

“Annyeonghasaeyo, sunbaenim!” the six guys greeted while bowing 90 degrees.

“Annyeonghasaeyo.” Seohyun stood up and greeted also. “Hmm.  May I help you? Do you need something from me?” she asked

“Actually, we do have a favor to ask you sunbae.” the chinky-eyed guy told her shyly.

“What is it?” Seohyun politely asked

One of the guys elbowed the chinky-eyed guy.

“Ouch, why did you do that?”

The guy who elbowed the other guy looked at Seohyun.

“We’re very sorry for being rude. We should have at least introduced ourselves” the guy said and bowed 90 degrees.

“I’m sorry for being rude” the chinky eyed guy also apologized

Seohyun was amused by the politeness of the six.

“Well, we will introduce ourselves.”

“I’m DooJoon” the guy who elbowed the chinky eyed said

“I’m Hyun Seung”

“I’m Jun Hyung”

“I’m Yo Seob”

“I’m Gi Kwang” the chinky eyed guy said

“and I’m Dong Woon.”

“And we are BEAST” they all said while posing with a thumbs up. (^-^) “Nice to meet you sunbaenim!” They bowed again.

“Nice to meet you also. Wow, you have a nice name.” Seohyun praised

“Actually, we call our group beast because we’re very passionate in everything we do like a beast” the guy named Yo Seob explained

“And we’ve also been friends for a long time so we decided to form the group.” Dong Woon said.

“Ah. So, what was the favor you were asking?” Seohyun remembered

“Actually we would like you to teach us” Jong Hyun said

“Teach you about what?” Seohyun asked

“Everything?”

“Yes!” the six of them exclaimed

“Having you guys expect me to teach you is pretty interesting. But why me?” Seohyun curiously asked

“What are you saying? We’ve always been impressed by your way of living!” Hyun Seung said

“Way of living?” Seohyun asked

“We’ve been watching during the School Festival too” Yo Seob said

“To remodel the school, you even confront the guys with a headstrong attitude.” Gi Kwang added

“You’re also one of the best when it comes to sports and academics. You have the ability to stand above all the other students.” Doo Joon said

“You’re the perfect model of a Student Council President!” They all said to her

“You don’t have to go that far. I’m not that great of a person.” Seohyun said coyly

“For us you’re the perfect role model. We want to become a wonderful person like you.” Gi kwang said

Seohyun just smiled at her juniors’ thoughtfulness.

After Class..

“Seohyun noona.” Yo Seob called her

“You were waiting for me?”

“Yes, we are so excited to learn. And we would like to know everything about you.” Dong Woon said

The six guys started to follow Seohyun around.

In a corner..

“What the hell is that?” Eunhyuk said

“They are sticking to her all day” Yesung said when he saw the six guys with Seohyun

“Their innocence proves that they’re freshmen” KangIn said

“We’re honored to walk home from school with you noona.” Hyun Seung said happily

“Uhmm, you don’t have to do that, I’ll still teach you everything you like.” Seohyun said to them

“But this way, we can know you better.” Gi Kwang innocently said

At the railway station..

“See you guys” Seohyun bid goodbye to the boys

“I heard that you walk to school, so why are you getting on the train?” Dong Woon asked

“Ah right. I heard you have a part-time job.” Jong Hyun interjected

Crap. She thought

“I heard that she works to help out at her house even if it’s just for a few hours” The six talked among themselves.

“Wow. That’s incredible considering that she has a very tight schedule.” Yo Seob amazed. “We must really learn from her”

“PLEASE LET US COME WITH YOU!” all of them begged

I knew they were going to ask that.

“It must be a really honorable job.” Dong Woon said

“A-aniyo, it won’t do you any good as a reference.” Seohyun said carefully

“No, just seeing the job would be a great experience for us”

“It’ll be a great learning experience for us” Yo Seob beamed

“Uh hhmm. Y-you all should go home now, okay? Just go straight home, you really should be doing your homework” Seohyun said trying to convince them

“Yah, you freshmen, the Prez already said no.” KangIn suddenly said

“Just go home already” Yesung added

“You should just  go home already and get you heads started on your homeworks as what Prez has said, araso?” Eunhyuk threatened

“Okay” The six of them said. “Then, have a safe trip noona” they bowed at her

Seohyun was immediately relieved. She entered the Station and bid goodbye.

“See you at school then” she said

“We’ll come with you, Seohyun-ssi” Yesung shouted. And the Pabo trio started to run towards her

“Yah!! you can’t come with me!!” Seohyun reprimanded

The six freshmen saw what happened

“Then, were coming too” and they run inside the railway station.

Upon seeing this, Seohyun started to run so that they could not catch her.

Aissh.

While still running she looked to her back and saw the six still following her.

“Noona!!”

“There’s no way I can take them with me.” she said to herself when suddenly someone grabbed her hand and hid her behind a post.

“Playing tag or something?” Kyuhyun asked

“Kyuhyun?!”

“Noona!!” Kyuhyun and Seohyun heard the six freshmen call. “She’s nowhere to be found. She’s really fast. As expected of her. We should just go home now.” and they left

Seohyun heaved a big sigh of relief. “You saved me”

“When did you become so popular?” Kyuhyun asked

“Actually, they want to learn from me” she answered

“So, you really can’t show them your other self?”

She did not answer.

“You know I’ve got enough points already.” Kyuhyun broke the silence

“What? You’ve gotten so many already?” Seohyun asked

“Impressed?”

“You’re coming too often”

“Well, I’m going to challenge you to a game today, so take a picture with me after that, okay?” Kyuhyun said

(Note: Customers of the café earn points to be able to have the opportunity to challenge the maids in a card game. If they win, they can take a commemorative photo with the maid they would like..lol)

Later at Maid Latte…

“Seohyun-ssi, you look so stiff. Put on a more natural smile as usual” Taeyeon said as she was holding the camera.

“You’re allowed to have one retake, but would you be interested in it, Master?” Tiffany asked Kyuhyun while handing him the commemorative photo taken a while ago.

 Kyuhyun accepted the photo and looked at it. “This will be fine. The usual Seohyun-ssi is the best.”

“Ohhhhhhh” the other staff said

“Seohyun-ssi, you are loved by your master so much.” Taeyeon said. “What a lucky maid you are”

Everyone was happy except for Seohyun. She has practiced so much so that no one would be able to win the card game against her. If she would be able to defeat all those who would like to challenge her, there would be no commemorative photo. No photo means no evidence that she works as maid in the café to worry about. But today, all her hard work was put to waste because someone was able to defeat her-Cho Kyuhyun.

The next day at school..

The Beast members kept following and observing Seohyun the whole morning. When Seohyun looks at them, she would see them writing notes about everything she does. She smiled just at that thought.

SC Office..

“Prez, these are all the suggestions we got on the comment box” Ryeowook placed a pile of papers on Seohyun’s desk.

“Let’s look at them together” Seohyun said. When she turned her gaze at the window, she saw the six freshmen looking. She stood up, opened the door and talked to them.

“You guys, if you’re going to do just that, you better go and study.” Seohyun said to them

“Okay” the six of them replied

Then the six started to take out their notes and books and studied it earnestly.

“It’s the six freshmen who had been following the Prez the whole morning.” Ryewook said

“Yea, they are so diligent” the SC Secretary said

“No wonder it’s Seohyun-ssi’s fanboys” Ryewook said

Seohyun took a glance at the six and they smiled at her. She returned them also a smile.

A few minutes later…

“That was a pleasant experience” Hyun Seung said while walking behind Seohyun

“Will you be going to your part-time job today, noona?” Gi Kwang asked

“Please let us come today.” Dong Woon said

Upon hearing this, Seohyun walked faster.

“Bye” Seohyun said. “Be careful on your way home.” Seohyun still walking very fast

Seeing that Seohyun was getting far, the six boys started to run.

“Please wait for us. Why can’t we come with you?”

“Yah! Don’t run in the hallway,” Seohyun reminded them still walking faster. The six boys stopped running but walked faster.

“Noona!”

Seohyun turned right and looked for some place to hide when someone grabbed her again.

“Looks like you’re having trouble” Kyuhyun said.

“You again?”

“Want me to have a word with them?” Kyuhyun asked

“Ehh?”

“I’ll tell them that you don’t like guys so you want them to stay away.”

Seohyun lowered her gaze. “To be honest, I’m actually happy. They are a pain but I like passionate guys like them.”

For the whole week, things like this happened. It was like a wild goose chase we see in movies. It was always a cycle of running away from the boys. And everytime Seohyun had trouble escaping from them, Kyuhyun would always be there to pull her out.

One day, Seohyun was chased again by the members of Beast. She was running away from them.

“Noona, please let us follow you to work!” they cried

Suddenly, she was pulled into an empty room again.

“Why don’t you just tell them where you work?” Kyuhyun asked

“Isn’t your timing every single day a little too good?” Seohyun said when she saw Kyuhyun again

“Wouldn’t they understand the situation if you explained it to them?” Kyuhyun asked again

Seohyun’s face suddenly became serious. “But..being a maid is a little too…” Sigh. “I want to keep this a secret no matter what. You see they’re looking at my SC President personality as their model. I don’t want to disappoint them.”

“So, you’re going to keep running away like this?”

Seohyun blinked her eyes. “Running away?”

At maid Latte..

There’s no way I would show this to those boys. Seohyun thought as she was taking the orders to one customer.

“Enjoy your stay master!” she bowed and went to the kitchen feeling so out of herself.

“Seohyun-ssi seems to be distressed.” Tiffany observed

“I thought she had adapted to this fairly well” Yoona worriedly said

“Seohyun-ssi” Taeyeon called

“Yes, Manager” Seohyun asked

“Some masters would like to challenge you to a game for a picture with you.” Taeyeon explained

Seohyun saw that the Pabo trio were the ones who will challenge her. She faced the three at their table.

“They want to challenge you to a card game.” Taeyeon said. “What game will it be?”

“Speed please!” Eunhyuk said while saluting to Seohyun

“You’re acting cool, Eunhyuk-ssi but you don’t look cool at all.” Yesung said

“Go for it, a picture with Seohyun-ssi” KangIn said

“Very well, if I may.” Seohyun said then started shuffling the cards.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.” Yesung encouraged Eunhyuk

“We practiced so much.” KangIn added

“Yea! We trained until I shed blood for this moment” Eunhyuk said full with determination in his eyes

“You can do it”

“Fight, Eunhyuk-ssi”

Seohyun placed the cards on the table and the game was about to start.

“Ready or not” Seohyun said

“Bring it on!” Eunhyuk said seriously

“Ready.. and Go.”

The game started and in a blink of an eye Seohyun was able to throw all her cards down. Eunhyuk haven’t even thrown even one card because of his astonishment on how fast Seohyun was in this game.

“Eh?” Yesung uttered

“That was too fast” KangIn said

“Is it possible? Is it possible at all?” Eunhyuk asked

 Taeyeon released a soft giggle. “That’s Seohyun-ssi. She’s merciless.”

“Everyone calls her the final boss” Yoona said

“Who knows how long it would take to leak out to the school from the day I get a picture taken.” Seohyun said

“Damn it! Kyuhyun-ssi won in this so we thought this would be our chance” Eunhyuk whined

“He was the first to beat Seohyun-ssi. That game was amazing” Taeyeon informed them

SEOHYUN’S POV

That Cho Kyuhyun won against me but..

This is my first picture with Prez

What did he do with that picture? he isn’t bringing it to school is he?

 So, you’re going to keep running away like this

I..I just don’t want to disappoint them. It’s not that I’m running away.

I looked at the Pabo trio still whining on why they have not beaten me on the game.

These guys used to think of me as annoying, didn’t they? Now, they’ve become like this after finding out that I work as a maid but…

“Please accumulate more points and challenge her again.” Taeyeon unnie said to them

“Alright, we’ll have our revenge” Yesung said with a closed fist

“Let’s accumulate points again to get our photo with Seohyun-ssi” Eunhyuk added
