Ella’s POV

It has been over a month since the accident at the mall, but every time Chun walks by, my heart starts to pump faster I swear sometimes I think he could hear it. But other than that everything was peaceful, Genie is apparently dating Danson and dad found out that Gui is back so now she is living with us again!

-Ring! Ring! Ring!-

“Hello?” I asked.

“Is this Ella Huan?” a guy asked.

“Yeah this is who are you?”

“I’m Kelvin, your grandmother’s assistant. I’m just calling to tell you that your grandmother wants to speak to you, so please come to her mansion tonight.” Kelvin said, before I could say more he hung up on me.

“Jie!” someone yelled behind me.

“Gui! Stop shouting! FYI you aren’t supposed to call me Jie in school!” I yelled thank god it was after school.

“Sorry! But did you get a call from Kelvin?” she asked.

“Yeah, wonder what grandmother wants to talk about.”

-Grandmother’s mansion-

“Good Evening Ms. Ella, Ms. Genie, Ms. Hebe, and Ms. Even, please come in.” said one of the maids.

We all walked in saying thanks to the maid, before she walked away.

“Wow, I haven’t been in here since I was little, before grandpa died!” Genie said.

“I wonder what grandmother wants to talk about----”

“Grandma!” Genie screamed as she saw grandmother standing at the living room doorway.

“Hi sweet pea!” Grandmother laughed while patting Genie.

“Hello Grandmother,” I said bowing, as Hebe did the same.
