“Finally,” Jungkook breathed out as he walked out of the forest. The sound of river filled his ears and the smell of fresh water filled his nose.
It’s been a long time since he felt so down-to-earth, literally.
The sound of the river allured him to come closer to it. The color of the river was crystal purple. It looked so fresh and clear, yet mysterious in the same way.
He cupped his hands and scooped some of the water from the river.
It really is purple, he thought.
He then saw something sparkling in the river’s base. Curiosity won over him and he reached out into the river and grabbed the sparkling thing.
He opened his fist, revealing a stone. The stone was transparent, he can even see his own reflection in it. It was like a glass.
He looked deeper into his reflection.
“I won’t do that if I was you,” a voice surprised him.
Jungkook turned around and found a white-haired boy with a happy-go-lucky looking boy. The white-haired boy pointed to the stone in Jungkook’s hand. “You better put that down,” he said monotonously.
Jungkook glanced at the stone in his hand and threw it back into the river. “Who are you?” he asked cautiously.
“I’m Dee,” the white-haired boy said. “I’m Dum,” the happy-go-lucky boy said. “But I thought Che—I mean Jimin—said that our name is Suga and.. what was that again?” Dum nudged the boy beside him. “J-hope, I guess?” the other answered shortly.
“Yeah!” Dum one answered.
“But then, is it me or you who are going to be called J-hope?” he asked again. “I don’t know. I can’t even remember his words!” Dee exclaimed, feeling annoyed. “You should pay attention to it! You know I’ll never pay attention to everything he said, he’s too crazy sometimes!” Dum one protested.
“You always blamed it on me!” Dee shouted. “Because it’s all your fault!” the other shouted.
Jungkook can’t even stand the two’s presence, let alone their arguments. “Can’t you guys just choose it on your own?” he said, irritated.
“You’re right! I think you should call me J-hope!” Dum exclaimed with bright grin.
Dee sighed in defeat. “Then you should call me Suga.”
“What is the importance of your new name anyway,” Jungkook mumbled. “We should go to Hatter’s place!” J-hope exclaimed. “We’ll show you the way!” he happily jogged, leaving Suga and Jungkook behind.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow and stared at J-hope. “I think we should follow him,” Suga suggested.
Jungkook shrugged. He needed guidance anyway.
J-hope skipped his way as he was a few meter in front of the two quiet boys. Then he stopped and turned to face the quiet boys.
“Ya, you. The one with sharp eyes,” he called.
The two of them turned to him, obviously annoyed. “What?” they chorused, feeling offended.
J-hope almost twitched at the two’s similar behavior. “Anyway, where are you from?” he asked. Suga remained silent, he knew who J-hope meant was Jungkook.
“I have a name.” instead of answering, Jungkook stated. “It doesn’t matter—“ “It does matter,” Jungkook glared. J-hope raised up his hands, surrendering to his stubborn self. “Fine.
