Black and white. Black sofas, black table, white walls, white tiles, everything screamed how meticulous and precise he was. Of course, neatness wasn’t need to be asked. On the back of the room, there’s some letters forming a shiny company emblem.

Silence engulfed the room, the sound of papers being turned echoed throughout the spacious place. The sound of door being knocked broke the serenity and made the young man looked up, before replying with his authoritative voice. “Come in,” Without further command, a man entered the room in silence and walked until he stopped in front of the young man’s table.

He bowed and it was evident that he was somehow intimidated by the presence which was also younger than himself. “Sir, there’s an agreement that Zen Company wants us to comply,” he gave the young man a file that was neatly arranged, just like the way he liked.

The young man examined the file, his eyes scanned each word, not missing any words. His face was unreadable, he could be cringing for all he knows. “Tell them it’s a deal,” he putted down the file on his table, not even looking at the man in front of him.

“I will.” The man bowed and left the room in silence.

The young man glanced at the agreement paper once more before linking his fingers to another and stared straight to his glass-made nameplate.

Out of nowhere, much to Jungkook’s dislike, the door opened. Seeing the older man who has some same facial features as himself, Jungkook straightened himself and stood up before bowing. “Father,”

The older man chuckled and approached his son before giving a pat on his shoulder. “You shouldn’t be that stiff to your own father,” his voice was warm.

Jungkook, as expected, paid no heed to his father’s words. Knowing his son’s personality, Mr. Jeon sighed and sat on one of the sofas in that room. “So how’s the agreement?”

“It’s running great, the Zen Company finally reached an agreement for us to launch a new branch in France” Jungkook explained, not moving an inch from his position. “Great. I know you’ll be a great CEO in the future,” with crinkles at the end of his eyes, Mr. Jeon smiled proudly at his son.

Jungkook was quiet for a few seconds before he bowed his head, “Thank you,” He was supposed to be happy or at least flattered, but that’s hard to guess because he didn’t seem to put any emotion in his words.

“My daughter is a good girl, she’s also successful and befriended every one, I’m proud of her.” Mrs. Sa smiled. “I believe she is, since she grew in such a great family,” Mrs. Jeon politely smiled. Smiling in satisfaction, Mrs. Sa continued her words. “She had always liked your son, Mrs. Jeon,”

“Oh really? I wonder where she knew my son from,” the twinkle in her eyes indicated her sudden interest on the matter. Mrs. Sa chuckled and shook her head. “I have no idea myself, I just knew it from her constant questions about your son,” Then Mrs. Jeon continued the talk with much more interest.

“Oh, I’m sorry to ask you to come to our house, it’s a bit impolite of me,” Mrs. Sa apologized. Mrs. Jeon chuckled, “It’s not. There’s nothing in our house anyway, I’d rather go to someone else’s house,”
