Taehyung flops on the grass, laying his head back and closing his eyes. “I’m so hot!”

“Tell me something more obvious.” Jungkook rolls his eyes, settling himself next to the other.

Grinning, Taehyung reaches out to ruffle Jungkook’s sweaty hair. “You’re so nice to me, Kookie.”

“Should I take off my shirt?” Jimin wonders aloud.

“No!” Taehyung and Jungkook both shout and Jimin pouts.

“But it’s hot! And practice was hard and you know everyone wants to see.”

“Yoongi hyung isn’t here, so don’t bother,” points out Jungkook, making Jimin stick his tongue out.

“Taehyung!”

They all look up to see Baekhyun striding towards them, one hand holding his phone to his ear and the other waving.

“Your dad?” Jaehyo, another on the team, asks, but Taehyung shakes his head.

“Nope. Umma.”

“Oh.”

“I should probably go meet him,” Taehyung says, getting up and starting to brush grass off of him. Jungkook helps innocently but Taehyung knows he’s being mischievous. “I think he has a meeting or something after this.”

Baekhyun comes closer, still speaking rapidly on the phone. “I told you Kyungsoo, I’m going to be a little late. I have to pick Taehyung up from practice.

No-I’m still here. No. I said...wait, hang on.” He holds the phone away for a second. “Hurry up Tae, we have to go!”

“I know!” his son calls back, gathering his stuff from the bench. The rest of the team is whispering among themselves as Taehyung jogs back to Baekhyun, who’s gone back on the phone.

“Your mom is so hot!” exclaims Kyung and Taehyung frowns as others murmur in agreement.

“That’s so weird.” He knows his mom’s young but they’re fifteen. Isn’t that kind of weird?

“I’ll call you later Tae,” Jimin reminds him. “Don’t hang up on me.”

“Of course not,” laughs Taehyung. He pats Jungkook on the head since the younger's still on the ground. “Bye Kookie. See you tomorrow.”

“Bye hyung.”

Taehyung walks next to Baekhyun as they make their way to the car. Once they’re strapped in, Baekhyun hangs up.

“How was your day?” he asks, starting the car.

“Good. My team thinks you’re hot.”

Baekhyun raises his eyebrows. “Of course. I’m fabulous.”

“Umma,” laughs Taehyung. “That’s weird!”

“Everyone acknowledges my beauty,” says Baekhyun dismissively. “You should be happy you inherited my good looks.”
