“Sungoh?”

Blinking his eyes sleepily, Sungoh squints at the door. He can barely make out the outline of his two younger brothers and looking over at the clock, the red numbers inform him it’s almost three in the morning.

“Yeah?”

“Can we sleep with you?” Taehyung asks, Bambam peeking over his shoulder. They had always been more for skinship than Sungoh.

Eyes softening, Sungoh nods and pulls the blankets back slightly. The two smile and get into bed with him, one on each side. Although they all can fit, it’s a tight squeeze and they are forced to snuggle together more so than usual.

Sungoh yawns. “What’s the occasion?” There’s silence for a second.

“Since you’re...you know...leaving for college tomorrow-”

Of course.

“We’re going to miss you.” Taehyung’s voice is very small.

“You’ll come visit, right hyung?” Bambam’s voice is muffled.

“Of course. I’m not leaving forever.”

“It may as well be like it,” mumbles Taehyung.

“I thought you wanted my room,” Sungoh reminds Bambam and the youngest sticks his tongue out, snuggling closer.

“Only if you’re in there, hyung.”

“You guys are really going to miss me?”

“Of course we are!” Taehyung looks up at him from his position and flicks him lightly in the forehead, causing him to wrinkle his nose. “Why? Are you not going to miss us?”

“I’m gonna miss you.”

“Especially me stealing your clothes,” adds Bambam.

“And me taking your books,” says Taehyung.

“Taking too long in the shower.”

“Interrupting you whenever possible.”

“Coming into your room at all hours of the night.”

“Making you drive me everywhere.”

“Okay, I get it,” laughs Sungoh. “You just don’t think I’ll actually miss you?” The other two are quiet and it’s a guilty silence.

“I’m gonna miss you both. Remember that. And take care of umma and appa while I’m gone, okay? They’re gonna be pretty sad now that their favorite child is gone.”

“I have half a mind to shove you from your own bed,” mutters Bambam and Taehyung falls into a fit of giggles.

“I’ll help you.”

“I’m in the middle, how would you do that?”

Bambam grins. “Carefully hyung, very carefully.”

So I just graduated from high school (which is why updates have been so bad) and it's been crazy and bittersweet and going away to college in August seems almost unreal, you know? So there may be a few more chapters of this particular timeline.
