Taehyung bites his lip to keep from cursing when he stubs his toe getting out of bed. He pauses, waiting to see if anyone has heard him but the house is quiet. Perfect.

Snatching up a pair of sweatpants and pulling on a hoodie, he creeps silently towards the window. It really does come in handy there’s a tree growing right beside it. He used to just use it to look at birds-he even had a nest there for a few years-but now he’s found other uses for it.

Having already cracked the window open earlier, since he knows it would be impossible to do it quietly at midnight, he slowly slides it open fully. The night air hits him and he breathes it in deeply.

His room isn’t really stuffy but after tasting the cool, fresh air from outside, he can’t understand how he thought his room was bearable.

He’s halfway through the window when he hears his door creak open.

His heart stops.

“Hyung?”

Heart settling back down to normal speed, Taehyung slowly turns around to see Bambam in the doorway, T-shirt hanging off one shoulder because it’s too big and rubbing one eye sleepily.

“What’re you doing?” he asks drowsily and not wanting their parents to hear, Taehyung presses a finger to his lips and beckons his younger brother closer.

Bambam blinks sleepily, yawning. “Why are you going outside?”

“It feels nice. Doesn’t it?” Taehyung leans a little so Bambam can feel some of the nice breeze blowing by.

“It does,” exclaims Bambam, becoming a little more alert. “Do you always do this, hyung?” Taehyung looks at him steadily.

“Can I trust you, Bam?”

His brother nods eagerly. He’d always admired Taehyung, though he’d never say. “Are you doing something bad? Are you a spy? A superhero? Is the city in danger?”

Taehyung grins. His brother is only four years younger than him and although he tries not to act like it, it really shows sometime.

“Exactly. I need to go rescue Jungkook from those evil monsters. Will you keep it a secret?” He leans closer, whispering in Bam’s ear. “After all, I can’t have any villains finding out.”

“Are umma and appa villains?”

“In this case, yes.”

“Sungoh hyung?

“Especially Sungoh hyung.”

“Okay hyung!” Bambam smiles and Taehyung know he can count on him to not tell. He ruffles the younger’s hair.

“Go back to bed Bam and remember-none of this happened.”

Bambam nods excitedly and watches as Taehyung gives him one more wink before climbing out of the window.

So, question. Everryon'es heard of UP10TION right? Well one of their members, Hwanhee, looks exceptionally like Baekhyun and acts like him too and I was thinking of adding him in.
