Taehyung wakes up slowly, having felt something tug at his sheets. Was it aliens? Were they calling him back home? Was he going to go there and reclaim his throne?

Blinking his eyes sleepily, he sees Bambam standing beside his bed, hair still messy and holding onto a teddy bear.

“Wha’ is it Bam?” Taehyung says, yawning and raising half up on his elbow. Bambam bites his lip and shuffles closer.

“I had a nightmare, hyung,” he says and his voice is soft and scared as he rubs at his eyes with a tiny fist. “Can I sleep with you?”

Taehyung’s first thought is to ask why he didn’t go to umma and appa or Sungoh- his second is that he understands why he didn’t.

He pulls the covers back slightly and Bambam smiles, climbing into bed with him and hugging his teddy bear tightly.

Taehyung sloppily tucks the covers around his younger brother before settling back down into a comfortable position.

“Thanks hyung.”

“Mm.” His eyes are already closed but he can feel Bambam snuggling closer to him. It’s not very becoming of a ten-year old boy to sleep with his younger brother but Taehyung doesn’t even care.

He lazily throws an arm over Bambam and pokes his cheek but the younger doesn’t mind. Taehyung is warm and it feels nice underneath the blankets.

“It was scary,” he mumbles quietly and Taehyung cracks an eye open. He doesn’t particularly want to talk now but grits his teeth anyhow. This is Bambam they’re talking about here.

“Aliens?”

“No. Those aren’t scary because you’re one.”

“Stop hanging out with Jimin so much,” mutters Taehyung, closing his eyes once again and ready for sleep. But he can almost feel Bambam smiling. “Go to sleep.”

“Okay.”

They’re quiet for a few minutes and Taehyung’s just about to sink back into slumber when Bambam whispers one last thank you.

They both sleep pretty well that night.

Tbh I wrote this one awhile ago and it's not even that good but I feel bad for making you guys wait, so. Here it is, my terrible writing. I apologize.
