Kikwang POV

There was nothing that could compare to how I felt. I knew something was off with Hara these past couple of weeks but I would have never expected her to do this to me. Leaning over the bar counter, I devoured the soju bottle after bottle. Finishing my fifth bottle, I stared at the soju label as I recalled what had happened just hours ago.

I touched her hand waiting for a response. I didn’t want to hear any excuses but I also didn’t want to hear what I was afraid to hear but nothing stopped her from blurting out the hurtful truth. The words that pierced me so deeply, I almost couldn’t stand upright. I had no energy left in me as I looked at her in disbelief.

“What do you mean?” I stuttered, managing to hold myself together.

“Don’t you get it Kikwang? I cheated on you and I’ve been cheating on you for a while now”

No… No… No way can Hara do this to me. We made promises to each other. We loved each other. We spent every holiday together. We did everything together. How can she… she just end things like this?

“I don’t believe you”

“You saw us today. Don’t deny what you saw. That was me kissing another guy, why can’t you just accept it? It’s over”

“No… no… that wasn’t you. I must have mistaken that girl at school for you. You wouldn’t do this to me… right?”

“It’s over”

“Why? Why would you do this? Did I not love you enough?”

“No you loved me too much. I’m tired of it. We do everything together, I never get a chance to think for myself because you decide everything for us. I’m tired Kikwang. I don’t want this anymore”

“I’ll change! I’ll do whatever you want me to, just don’t do this to me. I’ll forget I ever saw anything”

“No! Don’t forget because I don’t want to be with you anymore. I want to be with him”

“Do you love him?”

“What?”

“Do you love him?”

I watched, as she stayed silent. Her eyes on the ground, she finally looked up at me after moments of silence.

“I will love him when the time comes”

“You’re willing to leave me for a guy you don’t even love?!?”

“Just leave. I don’t want to ever see you again”

She pointed towards the door suggesting my leave. I couldn’t move. I felt like collapsing onto the ground. All my strength were pulled away from her words. The one I thought about everyday, the one I cherished more than anyone, the one I would do anything for… why? I walked out slowly, almost hoping for her to call my name but I heard nothing as I left her house. She made her decision. It was final.

I walked out of the bar. I didn’t even realize that it was already dark outside. Calling a taxi, I clumsily sat myself in the car. The taxi driver’s annoying voice yelled at me. With a major headache, I started to become irritated.

“Mister! Mister! You have arrived”

“Hmm…. Okay… T..hanks… uhh… here’s…”

I reached for my pocket and there was nothing in there. I looked up at the driver with a blurred vision. I had no idea how he looked like or where I was.

“Sor..rrrry…. I forgot my money”

“WHAT?!? Are you kidding me? You can’t pay! Why did you call for a taxi then!” he shouted.

“Ahhh You’re screaming too loud. It’s soo…soo annoying!” I whined.

Grabbing my phone, I dialed the first number on my contacts list. I had no idea who I called until I heard a familiar girl’s voice.

“Come out and get me. I don’t—don’t have money…”

I felt my body lift up from the car seat. Trying to stand up I walked a couple of steps before my feet gave up on me. I heard a silent grunt as I rested my body onto someone soft. The person smelled like vanilla before I passed out.

The next morning I woke up with a headache. My eyes wandered around the place. I looked at the dark blue interior of the room and the black blankets that were covered over me. I turned to my right and Junhyung was sleeping on
