[Chapter 28 Review]

~ Jiyeon spends time with L. Joe and Aunt Yeo- Eul is even more determined to get her niece back. Junhyung finally does what he always wanted to do.

Junhyung’s POV

Realizing what I have done I released her slowly. Our lips parted and I stared at her shocked facial expression. Her enlarged eyes made me nervous that she would freak out. I shock her arm and she didn’t respond. Even though, it was wrong, I felt that it was my chance to confess right now and then. I wanted to speak but no words came out. Frustrated at my cowardliness, I walked back to my room. Before I went in, I stopped and looked back at Jiyeon. She was still standing there.

“I’m sorry. It won’t happen again” I said to her.

Before I was able to close the door, She quickly turned to face me.

“What was that?” she asked harshly.

“Are you mad?”

“Am I mad? Are you mad? Are you crazy? How can you do that?”

“I… I…”

“Could it be possible… you… like me?”

I didn’t reply. No I didn’t know how to reply. She was always so direct.

“Impossible” I heard her whisper as she dropped to the ground in merely seconds.

“Aren’t you going to answer any of my questions?” she asked me after.

“I don’t want to talk about this anymore”

“How can you—?”

“Stop or I’ll kiss you again and I’m not afraid to do that” I threatened as I closed the door behind me.

Jiyoung’s POV

Today was the senior hiking trip. Getting out of my car, I stood beside my classmates as we all waited for everyone to arrive at the airport. We were going to Japan for the hiking trip.

“Did you hear that Jiyoung got dumped by Junhyung?” asked the student in front of me.

“Suits her right. How can she date my Oppa? She wasn’t even that attractive anyways. He probably lost interest in her,” giggled her friend nearby.

“How embarrassing! Oppa is coming today too. Won’t it be awkward for her?”

“I know right. I would’ve saved myself the embarrassment and stayed home”

Clenching my fists tightly, I swallowed hardly to try t stop my tears from falling. I won’t cry. I won’t cry. I won’t cry, I thought to myself over and over again. With the little pride I had left, I walked in front of them so that they would know I heard everything they had said.

“Excuse me” I said as I walked in front of them.

“Oh my god! Isn’t that her? Do you think she heard everything we said?”

Junhyung’s POV

We arrived at the hotel; we were staying at, near midnight. Yoseob had given everyone his or her rooms and everyone rushed to their rooms to settle down.

“There was a shortage of rooms, there was only one room left. It’s okay that you guys share a room right?” asked Yoseob as he handed Jiyeon and I our room key.

“What?!?” she yelped.

I grabbed Yoseob aside and spoke to him in private.

“What are you talking about? How can a hotel run out of rooms?” I asked frantically.

“Use this opportunity to confess” he smiled.

“You should thank me” he further continued.

“Thank you? We aren’t even talking since our incident last night” I exclaimed in frustration.

“What happened last night?” he smirked.

“I… I kissed her”

“WOAH!”

“Calm down, would you!” I hushed.

“She didn’t respond like you wanted right?”

“Aish! Then I’m sleeping in your room for the entire trip!”

“Take this opportunity and do it right. That way you two can get closer,” he further said before he left.

Jiyeon’s POV

I had to admit, I felt very uncomfortable. Everything about this situation felt uncomfortable. Since that
