Hyunseung’s POV

They kissed? It wasn’t a dream. I saw it with my own eyes. Why did Junhyung kiss Jiyeon? Weren’t they siblings? My love rival for Jiyeon is… her brother Junhyung? Nothing made sense. Junhyung is dating Jiyoung. His sister is Jiyeon but he… What? The more I thought about it the more I got confused. There was no explanation for it. I relaxed myself on the sofa of my house, thinking back to what I had just seen earlier today. The stillness and silence of the atmosphere was broken when I heard someone knock.

She stood there in my doorstep wearing navy blue trench coat that covered her upper body. Her black Ugg boots were covered in snow as well as her messy hair. She stood shivering as I only stared at her. Her Gucci luggage was next to her, one by one. There must have been five of them!

“Are you just going to stand there? How about a welcome?” she said as she barged in.

“Why are you here?”

“I was ordered to stay here until we move into our new house after the wedding”

“WHAT?”

“Your Father didn’t tell you?”

HyunA looked at me in disbelief. I shrugged the topic away as I gestured for her to sit. I didn’t like her company. I didn’t like anyone’s company except Jiyeon’s. It aggravated me how Father so bluntly puts these things in front of my face without concerning my feelings. He always did that because to him, I was nothing more but a reminder of the memory he most wanted to forget. I was his slave.

“Are you not going to object to anything my Father tells you?” I asked.

“There’s nothing I can do. I just do what I have to do”

“So if Father tells you to sleep with me, you’re going to abide?”

“What?”

“Why aren’t you against this?”

“I have to do what I have to.”

“You sleep in the room. I’ll sleep on the sofa” I said finally giving up on the subject.

“Is that alright with you?” she asked as she looked back at me.

“Do you think we are going to sleep on the same bed!”

“No!”

“Okay then!” I shouted.

Jiyeon’s POV

I was already late for school as I ran to the front entrance of Seoul Academy. Junhyung woke up late again! As I ran by the parking lot with Junhyung behind me, I spotted Hyunseung’s car. I watched him as he got out of the car. Wanting to greet him, I stopped when I saw HyunA exit the car moments later. I didn’t take my eyes off of them as they strangely parted ways before entering the school building. Junhyung caught up with me soon after I could no longer see them.

“What’s wrong?” Junhyung asked.

“…nothing… nothing at all” I murmured.

Why were they together? Are they… dating? Didn’t he say he liked me? I don’t understand you Hyunseung. How can you say you like me a week ago and then be with someone else? I thought while I was changing into my gym shorts. I heard loud voices suddenly. A few girls were entering the locker room to get bottles of water. I slightly hid behind the tall lockers as I heard my name mentioned.

“Really? Jiyeon she dated Hyunseung?” shouted the chubby girl who was fondling with the water bottles.

“Yeahh I heard she was going out with him but she dumped him after two months! Can you believe her?” replied her friend.

“I thought she was dating Kikwang?” said the chubby girl.

“Right after she dumped Hyunseung, she started going out with Kikwang”
