From Fact to Fiction
Jiyeon’s POV
I can’t believe I just said that… I just said that out loud right? Did he hear me? He must’ve… why else would he be smiling like a mad man right now? I grabbed the medicine and bandages for his wound on his hand. I started cleaning it gently and carefully as he continued to stare at me. I looked up and stared at him in annoyance.
“Would you care to explain how you got this cut?” I asked as I continued to treat the wound after.
“Because of you” he muttered.
In frustration, I started to wrap the bandages a little harder before I sighed and asked another question.
“Why am I any part of this?”
“Because I couldn’t stop thinking about you. It was frustrating” he confessed.
“ARE you going TO do THIS again?” I hissed under my breath as I tightly wrapped the bandage so that it hurt.
“Ahh… yah! Why are you doing this to a sick person?” he yelled in pain.
“Just be quiet. Let me check your temperature” I said as I was about to place my hand no his forehead.
Junhyung quickly slapped my hand from reaching his forehead. This man was weird. I attempted again but he avoided my hand yet again.
“What’s wrong?” I asked as I gave up.
“My fever seems to be going down but I feel weird inside”
“What do you mean?” I asked.
He grabbed my hand and placed it over his heart. It was beating. I could feel it. It was beating rapidly. I quickly got out of his hold and stood up.
“I’m going to make you some porridge and then I’ll leave some medicine on the kitchen counter for you. Make sure you eat it when you feel hungry” I stated as I headed for the door.
“Are you leaving?” he asked disappointed.
“My aunt doesn’t know I’m here. I have to go back. She’ll know I am missing”
Before I was able to leave his room, I suddenly heard loud footsteps approaching me from behind. I was about to turn around when I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my body. He held tightly as if he never wanted to let go. I was hyperventilating at that point. What should I do? What should I do? I really didn’t know…
“Let go” I said with a monotone voice.
