BONUS STORY IV: JUNHYUNG
Five years later…
Junhyung’s POV
“YAH! Where are you? You… you’re not with her again, are you?” hissed Jiyeon over the phone.
“I’m at the hotel” I said before I heard a loud knock on the door.
That couldn’t be her. That couldn’t be… I opened the door and sure enough, there she was. She stormed in the room and looked at her. She glared at me before speaking to my assistant.
“Soojung ssi, you can leave now. I can help my boyfriend”
I looked her at in disbelief. She was so harsh with her all the time since the incident. It wasn’t even Soojung’s fault. She had spilled coffee on me and subconsciously, I took my jacket and shirt off. She was helping me wipe off the coffee and Jiyeon walked into my office out of nowhere. I explained to her so many times and she still doubts. Sighs… this was going to be a long night.
“Soojung ssi, I’m sorry. I can do the rest myself. You are excused.” I said to my assistant.
She left without uttering another word and I faced Jiyeon. She was angry again. I could tell. She always flares her nostrils when she is upset.
“She’s my assistant. If she doesn’t help me with tomorrow’s case then we are losing our sponsors” I explained logically to Jiyeon.
“You told me that you weren’t going to work late with her! You lied!”
“We aren’t doing anything. It’s just business. Why are you so paranoid?” I asked a little annoyed.
“I know girls. She likes you. You better not cheat on me Yong Junhyung!” she threatened.
“There is no other girl for me but you. You have to believe me” I said as I tried to calm her.
“How are you going to finish everything now?” she muttered guiltily.
“That’s what I’m saying! You shooed her away” I complained as I looked over the papers again.
