From Fact to Fiction
Jiyeon’s POV
“Aunt, I want to graduate early and attend Oxford in the spring” I said as I arrived home with L. Joe.
L. Joe elbowed me as he mouthed words. I didn’t really pay much attention to him. I waited for Aunt’s response and she nodded in agreement.
“To attend in the spring, you would need to leave Korea in a week… are you sure about this?” she asked.
I nodded excitedly before I went upstairs to my room. L. Joe followed me from behind and when Aunt was nowhere in sight, he walked in front of me so that he could speak with me.
“I didn’t think you would want to leave so early. Are you sure about this? I mean… you and Junhyung… there’s unfinished business…” he said quietly.
“Aunt made it clear. We have nothing, no, I have nothing to do with the Yong family anymore. Why do you keep pestering me about them?” I complained.
“I am not talking about them. I am talking about him! You shouldn’t leave without at least clearing some misunderstandings right?”
“What misunderstandings? He lied to me. He lied to me more than once. He knew how I felt and he didn’t care. There’s nothing to understand” I hissed at him.
“Are you PMSing or something? Why are you so stubborn!” he yelled in a louder voice.
“Why are you so loud? Aunt will hear you” I warned him.
I walked pass him and entered my room. I didn’t want to hear his complaining anymore. He was just as stubborn as I was. Pfft. Little brother my . He acts like he knows everything.

If she is not going to do anything about it, I will. During that night, I snuck out of the house and rode my motorcycle to Junhyung’s house. I knocked on the steel door several times. No one answered. Was he not home? As I was about to leave, it finally opened. Junhyung opened the door slowly. He looked like he was asleep. I entered in as I apologized for waking him up.
“Is there something you need?” he asked me.
“I need you and Noona to sort some things out. She’s leaving for England in one week. This is your last chance if you still want to be with her” I blurted out as a matter of factly.
“Why is she suddenly leaving?” he asked curiously.
“Do I really need to answer that question?”
Junhyung looked away. I sat on the couch and waited for his response but I didn’t get any. Impatient, I grabbed grabbed the bottle of wine next to me and gave it to him.
“What is this?” he
