Luhan is putting the last dish on the table that he set for this special night. Tonight is the night that he is going to confess his undying love for Dara. He just hopes that everything will turn out good.

After their afternoon delight, he was mercilessly dragged by Julia in the mall. They grab stuff that Luhan needed to make the most romantic dinner, as Julia per say. Julia told him to cook Dara’s favorite dishes. Sehun, Kai and Julia helped him to prepare everything he needed.

He went to the living room and look at the DVD’s that Julia personally picked to watch when he and Dara finished dinner.

“Remember oppa, when the guy is going to confess to the girl. You’ll start your confession speech. Look her straight in the eyes and hold her hands with outmost care and gentleness. You have to do it with full courage oppa. Don’t make unnie take it the other way around or else she might think that you are just being friendly again.”

“That’s right! You can do it Luhan. Fighting!” He said while pumping a fist in the air.

“I’m home!!” Her angelic soft voice echoed inside their apartment. Luhan immediately made his way to the door to meet Dara.

“Welcome home baby!” Luhan enthusiastically greeted the girl in his arms.

“Thank you Hannie.” And Dara peck Luhan’s cheek making the latter to blush.

“Come on. Let’s have our dinner. I cook your favorite food then will have to watch movies.” Luhan cheerfully said thanking the heavens that he didn’t stammer.

Dara happily skip to the dining area and was stunned to see all her favorite food prepared in the table. “Hannie, you cook all of them?” She asked without tearing her eyes from the food.

Luhan shyly scratch his un-itchy nape. “Yeah. I was thinking that you~” Luhan word were interrupted by a soft pair of lips at the tip of his nose.

“Thank you Hannie. You are just too perfect.” Dara beam before taking her seat.

The duo start eating their dinner while talking about random things such as their Jeju get-away, soccer, school, Chiihunnie’s weirdness and such. They had a great time sharing the food that Luhan personally cooked for them.

Luhan’s nervousness and anxiety increases every minute that their dinner is about to end. Oh how he wish that their dinner would take much longer so he could of feel relax a bit, but no. no matter what he do, his anxiety won’t drop down. He was sweating non-stop and he has to wipe it several times on his pants.

“Hannie, thank you for the wonderful and delicious dinner.” Dara cheekily said while patting her tummy.

Luhan smile widely as butterflies explodes inside his tummy. “You’re welcome baby. Now, why don’t you take a shower then will watch a movie after?” Knowing that it took 30 minutes for Dara to finish shower, it’s enough time for him to prepare himself for the confession of his life.

“But I want to help you do the dishes.” Dara cutely whine with a pout on her face.

Luhan has to take an ounce of self-control or else he might end up harassing that pink soft looking lips.

“I…ah…” Luhan’s throat suddenly feels dry. He cleared his throat. “I…I know you’re tired so I’ll take care of it. Go freshen up now baby.” He said trying to hide his uneasiness by smiling.

Dara pout even more but nonetheless followed Luhan’s order. Once the girl is out of his sight, he let out a breath that he unconsciously held for a while. “Fck Luha! Stop being a coward! You’re just going to confess to her, it doesn’t matter if she’ll reciprocate it just as long you’ve confess to her.”

After doing the dishes Luhan proceed to the living room to arrange the things in there. He bring the chips and the ice cream at the living room and place it on the coffee table.

After a couple of minutes Dara joined Luhan at the floor and grab the cushion placing it on her lap. “What are we going to watch?”

“Secret” He grin before walking towards the dvd player. He put on the dvd and start the film. He scoots back beside Dara whose eyes are focus on the screen. They’re watching a Japanese movie that Julia personally recommended. She said that ‘our’ situation is the same with the movie. The guy is in love with his best friend but doesn’t have the courage to confess until his best friend got a boyfriend.

From time to time, Luhan’s gaze fell on the girl beside him who is silently just watching the movie as some tears drift on her face when a sad scenes flash on the screen.

Such an adorable crybaby. He said to himself as he continue to stare at the girl than into the screen.

When the part of the movie where the guy is standing in front of the girl as the guy is about to confess his feelings, that’s Luhan’s cue to start his confession as well.

He took a deep breath and tightly close his eyes trying to calm his ragging heart. Please calm down you fool! You, pounding hard and fast is not helping! He internally scolded his stubborn heart for beating so fast.

He took one last breath before poking Dara’s side. “I have something to tell you.” He said as his voice miserably shakes. Dara looks confuse but nod nonetheless to let Luhan say whatever he wanted to tell her.

“We’ve known each other for more than 2 years, right?” He asked and Dara nods in agreement.

“We’ve gotten close and end up being best friends. But you see Dara, something happened the first time that I met you. I got this unexplainable feeling and I don’t know how to describe it. It’s the first time that I ever felt something so strong that made my every cell to get excited.” He chuckled while eyes glued at the screen afraid that if he looks directly on Dara’s eyes he might lost for words in that beautiful eyes.

Dara just keep mum giving Luhan the impression to just continue with his speech. “I really wanted to tell you about it but whenever I look into your eyes I always lost at words. Whenever you’re near, the feeling is so intense that it knocks all my senses. Whenever I got a glimpse of you, my heart swells in so much happiness that it may explode anytime but I never once complain about it because it is the most amazing feeling that you can only cause me. I know you are getting weirded out by my words but what I really wanted to tell you is that, Dara I am in love with you. I have been since the first time I laid my eyes on you. I love you Dara.” A feel of relief wash Luhan’s body as he finally confess his feelings for his own best friend.

“Dara, will you be my….” He tilted his head to look at Dara but got disappointed to see Dara who’s fast asleep.

“You got to be ting me!” He cries in frustration. Of all the time to fall asleep, Dara chose to fall asleep when he is in the middle of his confession.

“Great! Guess she didn’t even hear half of it!” He sarcastically said to himself.

“Gad! Why does it has to happen to me?!”
