A Child's Play
EquationsNote: Ending day one... Enjoy! :D
As soon as they arrived, they immediately headed for the Ngong Ping 360. They got the private crystal cabin to watch the sunset over Hong Kong, and it was gorgeous. Geonwoo stood on the tip of his toes, looking over the changing landscapes. Keia sat on the floor and stared at the changing landscapes that can also be seen underneath them. Jihyo was standing next to her because Gary was watching Geonwoo move from one place to the next.
“Eomma! Eomma! Look at that!” Keia said pointing at the body of water lit by the warm sunset. Jihyo laughed at her innocence and they all enjoyed the look.
“Sunset.” She told Keia. Keia nodded at her mom and continued watching what was happening. After it’s done, there wasn’t much to do since it was late anyway. They got dinner and went back to Ritz-Carlton, the kids were tired from the plane ride too, they were able to tell. The kids showered and got changed into their pajamas. After, Jihyo went to shower, leaving Gary to look after the kids. He wasn’t sure what they had fed the two, but they were running around like their energy had just been recharged.
“Keia, Geonwoo, stop running around like that. You’ll be sweaty again.” Gary said. The two just laughed and paused for a while. They sat on the bed and lied down. Gary joined the two in laughing, after they finally stopped running around. He climbed up the bed with them and bent on his knees, pretending to be a monster. He hovered over them and leaned closer to Keia to give her raspberry kisses, and then moved onto Geonwoo to do the same. The two kids giggled, both for Gary’s act and the ticklish feeling of the kisses. Jihyo got dressed in a t-shirt and her pair of sleeping shorts, smiling as she heard the sound of the two children having fun. She knew Gary must’ve entertained them somehow. She came out of the bathroom to discover Gary playing monster with the two kids, lying flat on the bed. Seeing her mom coming out of the bathroom, Keia leaped out of the bed, giggling and approached her.
“Eomma! Save me!” She said. She hugged Jihyo’s bare legs, looking back at Gary with a big smile on her face. Geonwoo joined them, also escaping from Gary. He held onto Jihyo’s shirt, hiding behind her. His face, too, was plastered with a huge smile. Jihyo laughed and put a hand on each child’s back.
“Chakeun appa is naughty!” Geonwoo shouted, laughing hard. Gary closed in on the kids and scooped each with one arm. The two screamed in between their giggles. Gary spun them around and flew them one at a time onto their bed. Gary then laughed and got up.
“Enough now, appa needs to shower.” He said, still smiling. The kids whined, not wanting to stop playing. “Enough, enough. You’ll sweat again.” He said, laughing at the kids’ whines. He walked over to the bathroom and passed Jihyo on the way. “This is tough.” He said, laughing. She laughed along. She patted his shoulder,
“You’re good with them. Your brother will be here in no time.” She told him, laughing at how tired he must be. He entered the bathroom and took a shower. Meanwhile, Jihyo had somehow managed to calm the kids down for a while. She lied down on the bed with them, watching them talk to each other. Their hands were fumbling with the lego blocks that were all over their bed.
“Keia, why is your name Keia?” Geonwoo suddenly asked. Keia was confused, she didn’t find her name strange. Jihyo laughed at the question. Keia turned her head and snuggled next to her mom. Jihyo wrapped an arm around her.
“Why is oppa’s name Geonwoo?” Keia asked again. Her wit was apparent. Jihyo held back her laugh. She didn’t even think of that. Geonwoo shrugged, but he was really curious. Keia started to think as well, but after a while, she seemed to let it go. Geonwoo continued playing with the lego while Keia moved on. She started twirling Jihyo’s hair, a sign that she’s getting sleepy.
“Are you tired?” Jihyo asked her, caressing her rosy cheeks. Keia pretended that she wasn’t and shook her head. Jihyo then squished her cheeks and laughed at her daughter. Her daughter giggled in return, still feeling playful. Geonwoo then suddenly jumped to Jihyo’s side, leaning on her side, standing next to Keia’s head. Instinctively, Jihyo put a hand on top of Keia’s head, afraid that Geonwoo was going to be too close to step on it. Only after he was stable, she removed her hand and held onto his arm, laughing along with him.
