Jihyo went home late that night. She carefully opened the door to their house and tiptoed in, carrying her bags. She the living room light, it was empty. The house was silent. She then opened the door to Keia’s room and found both Keia and Gary sleeping next to each other, their legs sprawled across the bed. Jihyo smiled at the similarity of their pose and their face. She went over to the bed and kissed Gary. He woke up.

“Wasseo?” Gary said, half-asleep. Jihyo smiled, nodding. She then bent over to kiss Keia. Gary stood up and followed walked behind Jihyo, giving Keia a goodnight kiss before walking behind Jihyo. With his sleepy eyes, he hugged her while rubbing his eyes. He then sat down on the sofa, pulling Jihyo close. She sat on his lap and stopped his fingers from rubbing his eyes.

“Don’t do that, oppa. Keia copies you all the time.” She said, laughing. Gary pouted and rested his chin on her shoulder.

“Are you feeling better? You work too hard. You shouldn’t push yourself too hard when you’re sick.” Jihyo smiled at how caring he can be. Jihyo was not feeling well that morning, but she told Gary she had to leave. He felt uncomfortable the whole day thinking that she’d be working with an upset stomach. Jihyo turned her face to kiss Gary. Gary smiled cheekily. “Is this where we’re going tonight?” He asked. He returned her kiss, but Jihyo pulled away.

“Ah, that’s right.” Jihyo said out of the blue. She took one of the bags she brought back and took it to Keia’s room, putting it on top of Keia’s dresser. Gary groaned and shouted in his whisper.

“Ya, Song Jihyo, are you gonna leave me hanging like this?” He chuckled. Jihyo came out from Keia’s room and smiled, looking at a whiney Gary. She headed towards their bedroom. Gary laughed helplessly and followed her. “You got something for Keia?” He asked. Jihyo nodded.

“Just a t-shirt.” She said and washed herself, changing into her nightwear. Once she was done, she sat on the bed, focused on replying messages on her phone.

“Go to bed. Are you still feeling nauseous?” Gary said. Jihyo put the phone away and snuggled close to Gary. She shook her head. “Good night.” Gary said, kissing the top of Jihyo’s head.

“Good night, oppa.” Jihyo said, replying the chat the last time then went to bed. Gary stayed awake for a while, looking at Jihyo. He felt sorry that she still had to work so hard and take care of their family. Gary smiled and left to go brush his teeth. When he went back to their bed, Jihyo’s phone lit up again. He looked at the phone, in case it was important.

“Jihyo-ya, it was so good to meet you today. You’re coming over again tomorrow, right?” The text said, “I know you’re busy with work and the family, so thank you so much for always making time, Jihyo-ya.” Gary immediately picked up the phone, looking at the sender’s name: Son Jihoon. As curious as he was, he set the phone down. But it lit up once again. “I can’t wait to meet you again.” Gary tried to look away and settle in his side of the bed. He looked at Jihyo, staring at her peaceful face as he tried to sleep it off. He couldn’t sleep for a while, but decided that it was probably nothing. This time, it was him who snuggled closer to her.

When she woke up the next morning, she looked at Gary. His face was snuggled upon her shoulders. She chuckled and checked her phone, replying to the same text that made Gary insecure last night. She then put her phone down and went outside. She checked on Keia, finding her still asleep. It was still very early in the morning. She decided to make breakfast, but as she was making breakfast, she dropped a pan and the noise woke Keia and Gary up. While Gary ignored it and fell back asleep, Keia started to cry. Jihyo abandoned what she was doing and headed to Keia’s room hurriedly.

“Did Eomma wake you?” Jihyo laughed at her clumsiness. “Mianhae.” She said giving Keia a kiss. Keia lied down again, still sleepy. “Do you still want to sleep?” Keia just sobbed, her eyes still closed. Jihyo chuckled, seeing her daughter like that. She rubbed Keia’s back softly, letting Keia wake up slowly.

“Eomma…” Keia sobbed, not really talking to Jihyo. She was still lying down, her eyes still closed. Jihyo chuckled.

“I’m here.” Jihyo said. “O, Keia… I got you a new shirt. Should we try it?” She asked. Keia reached out her arms towards Jihyo and Jihyo lifted her up. She took the bag she brought home last night and took out a shirt that was in it. She put it on Keia and smiled brightly. “Wa… It suits you very well.” Jihyo said.

“Keia likes it.” Keia said, although she couldn’t read what the shirt says.

“Jinjja?” Jihyo asked, smiling even wider. She gave Keia kisses on her cheeks, and fixed her hair. “Can you wake Appa up? Eomma will make breakfast for you.” Keia nodded. “Thank you, Keia.” She said. She made breakfast as she watched Keia opening the door to their room abruptly. She laughed, it probably woke Gary up even before she climbed unto the bed.

“Appa…” Keia said, pulling Gary’s blanket. Gary pulled Keia into a hug and stayed like that for a while. Keia closed her eyes and started to doze off with Gary. Jihyo set up their breakfast on the table and went to check on the two. She laughed when she saw the two who fell back asleep.

“You two, seriously.” She said, pulling the covers. Keia woke up and crawled into Jihyo’s arms, asking to be carried out. Jihyo hugged her, but set her down as they got to the door. She took Keia to the kitchen and grabbed her a plate for breakfast. Gary followed behind them. Before leaving their room, Jihyo’s phone lit up. He peeked, and saw the familiar name Son Jihoon.

“Jihyo-ya…” He called for Jihyo. “Your phone’s ringing.” He took it and handed it to her. Jihyo answered it and brought the phone back into their bedroom. Gary looked at her, a little disappointed, but he went over to Keia.

“Appa, igeo.” Keia said, giving him her fork. She pointed at the sausage. Gary stared at Jihyo and sighed. “Appa…” Keia called.

“Hmm?” Gary said, finally paying attention to Keia.

“The sausage.” Keia said, pointing. Gary took the fork and gave Keia a piece of sausage. He then looked at Keia, tilting his head, confused. “Wae, Appa?” Keia asked, feeling the strangeness of her dad’s stare.

“Is your shirt new?” He asked. Keia nodded. “Who got it for you? Did Eomma?” She nodded again. Jihyo came out of the room, still

Chapter 62: As a reader of this story and Carousel: Part 2 I really want end this stories big smile on my face. I want to remember them as a lovely family. Maybe you can write last one or two chapter for the closure.
But If you are not comfortable and happy to write about them then don't write you don't have to.Everyone can use own imagination and give this stories their own end.
I am a still MC fan, I still love them and support them but I don't read MC stories anymore it's make me little bit sad. I also want to respect their private life too. KG is a married man now and I wish him so much happiness. For SJH I do not want to associate her with a married man. Time to move on for me.

Lastly ;
I love your writing style and storytelling.I hope you continue to write another stories with Jihyo. You can use different male lead, environment and AU. I mean she has a wonderful chemistry with everyone.
