Main characters:

Park Bom was a tomboy since she was always surrounded by her four elder brothers. Although she had four elder brothers, she was the heiress to her mother's company because the company was originally owned by her great grandmother. So it had been passed down as tradition that only women of the family could succeed the company. She was 21 years old.

Choi Seunghyun aka TOP was the President of the TOP Department Store. He was always arrogant and rude, but he actually had a soft heart. He felt pity for others easily although he never really showed it. He was engaged to a celebrity, CL, by an arranged marriage by his parents, although he didn't have any feelings for CL. He was 26 years old.

Park Gi Kwang was the father of Bom. He was once a poor man, but then married Yoo In Na, a rich woman. He then loaned some money from his wife, and set up an entertainment agency for famous celebrities called GK Agency.

Yoo In Na was the mother of Bom. She married Park Gi Kwang and even confessed that Gi Kwang was her first love. She was kind, generous and always being helpful. She urged her children to find their true love and hated arranged marriages.

CL was a famous celebrity in Korea. She was engaged to Choi Seunghyun and actually had feelings for him. She was under the GK Agency and was often regarded as the most beautiful women in the agency. Although Choi Seunghyun knew her feelings for him, he didn't care much about it which sometimes made CL annoyed.
