Thank God It’s Friday or people usually shortened it as TGIF.  Friday usually become the most of favored day for the workers. Because at the day, they usually have less jobs and more relaxed than another days, plus the fact that the next day is weekend. So, wouldn’t be surprise if  lots of people who liked Friday, and perhaps that is where the slogan of ‘TGIF’ appeared.

Well, unfortunately it didn’t apply to the three best friends who worked as a secretary in a reputable company, Park Shinhye, Kim Jiwon and Im Yoona, because they already lost their peaceful moment to heard the ‘storm’ of households that was happening in one of the leader’s room. Yeah it’s Lee Minho’s wife who well known as a jealous and a little psycho that somehow came with emotional outburst that seen from her face expression and attacked her husband with shouts that sounded like firecrackers from outside. Oh pity them who heard that drama in the end of the lovely weekday.

The three of them held their breath when the psycho wife came out from the room.

“Shinhye-ssi, I told you that you should report everything that is done by my husband whenever and wherever he was, why don’t you do it, huh?!” Park Minyoung half-shouted to the poor secretary who could stare nervously at her.

“C-choseohamnida, maam” Shinhye gulped nervously as she bowed in a flash to her second boss. Aihh Jinjja,  have one boss alone was troublesome, and now I also have to face his wife, aissh so frustrating! – she hissed in her mind, she felt like she wanted to scream outloud but all she could do was just keep in silent.

“Notes to yourself then!” she said as she wore her sunglasses. She raised her face and flicked her long straight hair then walked arrogantly. Typical inheritors. Jung Shinhye is also the wife of the most respected number one bussinessman in South Korea, but she never placed herself like Park Minyoung just did. She never became an arrogant person although she has everything. She never did.

The three of them sighed of relief, “What a stubborn woman!” Kim Jiwon hissed.

“For God’s sake Shinhye-ya, how come you still survive having a boss like him? He involved you into his households drama complete with his jerky wife, aishh so frustrating!” Even Im Yoona also couldn’t understand her. Jung Shinhye only shrugged her shoulder weakly. That’s enough for her to hear her boss’s quarrel this afternoon, she didn’t want to arguing with her best friends as well.

Beep. She pressed the phone button when the line which connected to her boss directly rang.

“Come here” Lee Minho’s soft voice filled the air. Shinhye couldn’t do anything but obey him. She ignored the cynical gaze of her friends who actually wanted to hold her to not get into the room. They were so sure that Minho will only add to the burden by whining about his wife's behavior. But they also knew that Shinhye will never have the heart to ignore her favorite boss was slumped alone. What a tough situation.

Jung Shinhye pushed the door slowly and found her boss was lying weakly on the couch. he closed his eyes as if feeling very tired with what had just happened. she closed the door and walked towards him.

“Umh, I’m sorry sir” she cleared to resuscitate him of her presence.

Minho opened his eyes then fixed his seat position, “Sit down, Shinye-ya” he ordered, even his voice sounded very tired.

Her thought was right, Lee Minho looks very miserable with his facial expressions tangled. Sadness clearly seen in his eyes that at once exudes of tiredness. his appearance looked so mess, he was no longer wearing his black suit. Even his white shirt was already crumpled and no tie. He looks pathetic.

“He was mad at me. For no reason, again” he said as he stared the ceiling blankly.

“Waeyo?” Shinhye braved herself to ask what actually happened.

“This time she accused me of having an affair because she felt she had smelt woman's perfume on my shirt, but not at all. she was just hallucinating somehow” he let out a heavy sigh, “You believe in me, aren’t you?” then he looked at Shinhye’s eyes directly. She nodded him with no doubt.

“I’m tired Shinhye-ya” he closed his eyes again.

Shinhye had no idea what she has to do to comfort him. She just stood up and approached his desk to take a glass of water which put on the table. Then she handed to him, “Here, drink first”. That’s all she could do to him.

He smiled and received the glass, “Gomawo Shinhye-ya” then drank with one gulp. “You know, for some reason I always feel very comfortable when talking to you” he smiled and successful to made her nervous.

“You should laugh more, sir. It’s not good for your health if you continuously stress like this” She gave a warm smile as well.

He laughed softly, “Really? Umh can I ask you a favor?” he raised the glass to pointed her,

“What?”

“Just call my name, or at least call me ‘oppa’. I already consider you as my own friend, so I felt uncomfortable if you continously to call me that way, ahrasso?” Oh that smile, who can resist Lee Minho’s smile by the way? He’s too awesome to be hurt! Well, no wonder if his wife was too jealous over him, who is not afraid to have a husband who is so friendly and handsome like this? Jinjja!

“Nde, sir. Umh I mean, oppa” she lowered her voice when she said the last words. She was too shy to call her boss so casually. Geez! What would people think about it later? She had no idea.

“Sounds good. I like it!” he smiled wider. “Your husband was very lucky to have a wife like you, ah if I had a wife like you too”

Shinhye gaped in awe. Wrong move Minho-ssi!! You must correct your sentences then, you should say: ‘if my wife can imitate your good trait’ or maybe “I envy of your lucky husband”, that would be better to hear than your last one. Damn you Lee Minho! You just made her shock by your nonsense words.

“Shin, whatever my wife said to you, please trust me only. Just ignore her” here he come, his another nonsense.

Shinhye actually felt an awkward. She was in dilemma whether has to follow her boss or his wife. They didn’t know that they completely ruined her life. What a strange couple. But she didn’t know what to do unless nodded him, again, for the umpteenth time.

“Do I need to book a hotel for you?” she offered him, she used to it everytime Minho had quarrel with his wife. He always booked a hotel to sleepover, and she did it for the umpteenth time.

“No need. I’ll give it a try. I’ll face her once again tonight”

“Alright then. If nothing else you need, I’ll leave first” Minho nodded and smiled as a sign for her to leave.

“Thank you, Shin, for always there to comfort me” Shinhye lowered her face to hid her embarrassment and immediately left the room. What a weird man! – she hissed silently.

“Why are you so late, baby?” Yonghwa approached his wife and back hugged her when she was busy prepare their dinner in the kitchen.
“I went shopping with Jiwon to buy a birthday gift to Eunjin. You know, Yoona has invited us to come to her daughter’s birthday party tomorrow” Shinhye explained to him honestly.

“Umh, why didn’t you tell me? I can accompany you as well” Yongie complained as his wife forgot to report what just she did with her friend.

“Mian, I didn’t want to disturb you. You must be so busy” Shinhye said as she placed some fruits into the bowl.

“Ani, I could hand it to Minhyuk everytime you need me” he said nonchalantly
