Yonghwa threw his back against the chair after he spent the last three espresso that day. He loosened his tie, combed his well-trimmed hair with his fingers then gently massaging his temple to relieve the dizziness. He was thinking about Shinhye. He felt so guilty for having lied to her last night. He still had not dared to tell the truth. He was afraid that his confession would only make her jealous and might be able to destroy their household, although Shinhye had never known Eunhye before. Yeah, Yonghwa was sure that his wife didn’t know about his past at all, because Yoon Eunhye is part of his past that no one dares to reveal it to his wife, including himself. He has long buried that pretty woman in his memory until finally she returned and forced him to re-looked at her.

Tired. Jung Yonghwa frankly very tired of her, mentally. It took quite a long time for him to forget her, to accept the harsh reality and resumed his life. Until at least he found Park Shinhye, someone who is able to restore his life. Someone who has managed to heal the wounds in his heart that he thought it would be forever. Yonghwa was successfully move on and be happy with Shinhye whom he married wholeheartedly.

Of course Eunhye's arrival was really unexpected. To be honest, Yonghwa wasn’t ready for this. Half of his heart is still questioned about her disappearance even though he didn’t know if he still loves her or just curious. However, its presence successfully destroyed his heart that is well defined, with love from his beloved wife.

His reverie dispersed when he heard someone knocking on his door. It was his co-partner, Kang Minhyuk.

“Can I coming?” He popped his head thru’ the door. Then went inside after his hyung nodded his head as an agreement.

“Are busy hyung?” He approached Yonghwa’s desk then sat in front of him.

“Not really” Yonghwa took aside some files that scattered on the table and put it all together in one stack.

“Omo! You drink coffee?” Minhyuk glanced towards the three empty cups of coffee in surprise, “Did noona has forbidden you to drink coffee during the pregnancy programm? Aigoo you’re gonna in trouble hyung” he hissed as pointed those cups confusely.

“How do you know?” Yonghwa frowned.

“Soojung told me so”

Yonghwa chuckled, “Eiy, what has she told you, huh? Are you guys that close?”

“Ani” He pouted, then his face turned to be serious “Could it be it’s because of Eunhye noona?”

Yonghwa’s smile vanished in a moment. He became strained when he heard the allegation that uttered by his best friend. It was indeed true, and he didn’t know how to answer him.

Yonghwa cleared his throat nervously, “Yya! Don’t talk nonsense, hyukkie-ya”

“I didn’t, I actually come here to ask something to you, hyung” Minhyuk was successful to make his hyung uneasy. He smell there was something he hide . “Did you meet her last night?”

OUCH nice shot, Hyukkie-ya!!

“What do you mean?” Yonghwa even didn’t dare to stare at him. He threw his gaze everywhere but him.

“Eunhye noona called me just now. She asked about you, she said she couldn’t call you because your phone is inactive” Minhyuk paused to see his reaction. Yes he was so sure that Yonghwa did something stupid behind his wife. He could see his face turned tense. “She said that your suit left behind in her apartment”

Yonghwa felt dizzy suddenly. Why he could be so careless to let it left behind? Oh ! God damn !! – he cursed himself silently while Minhyuk was waiting for his explanation. Oh c’mon Jung, be gentle to tell the truth, he’s your dongsaeng actually!

“Yes I did” he finally confessed. He forced his eyes to see Minhyuk directly who was staring at him confusely.

“How come hyung?” Minhyuk felt unbelievable, “Why you meet her again? Damn! She’s just your past, how could you be so stupid, hyung?!” Minhyuk threw his back against the chair roughly. Like he wanted to explode his mind.

“Kang Minhyuk, mind your words!” Yonghwa warned him with a cold stare, but Minhyuk didn’t mind it, he even felt so angry towards him.

“I’m asking you, hyung, just tell me the truth. Did you tell Shinhye noona about this?” Minhyuk stood and face him with anger, Yonghwa didn’t response him, he remained in silent. “DID YOU?!”

Minhyuk sighed heavily, “You shouldn’t have hurt your wife, hyung. For God’s sake what’s lacking in her? She’s beautiful, she’s kind, she has everything that other women are not necessarily have and the most important thing is SHE LOVES YOU!” Minhyuk emphasized the last word to realize how stupid he was because he had lied to his perfect wife. Minhyuk closed his eyes as he tried to managed his breath after blabbering out those long sentences.

“Just mind your own bussiness. I know what I did and I know what’s good for me and Shinhye” Yonghwa stood and threw back the sharp stare to his friend. They were standing face to face.

“Alright, I won’t. I’m sorry for being rude, hyung” Minhyuk raised his hands, “I trust you to solve it wisely, but I hope you won’t ever hurt Shinhye noona, because someday you’ll regret what you did to her” Minhyuk turned around then walked to the door and left him behind.

Yonghwa hit the upper chair when Minhyuk has left.

He wasn’t mad at Minhyuk, but himself. Every word that has uttered by him was true. All of it indeed were true. He slumped onto the chair and closed his eyes as he memorized the moment with Eunhye in her apartement last night.

Yonghwa put Eunhye on her bed carefully when they arrived at her apartment. Luckily, she has not changed the password on her door and he still remembered it well so it’s not difficult for him to get into her house. Yonghwa pulled the thin pink blanket to cover her body up to chest and let out a heavy sigh. He stared at her sleeping face who look so peaceful then smiled secretly.

It seems been a long time I'm not looking at you, Eunhye-ah, feels like centuries. Why are you suddenly appear when I'm married? Where have you been, huh? – Yonghwa said in his mind. Yeah there are so many things that he wanted to ask her since their first meeting at his office. But he didn’t dare to ask. He remained on silent and let it be so as he could forget about her easily. Unfortunately, the fact says different. Yonghwa has to face his past once again and finish the unfinish bussiness which had weighed him for all this time.

Yonghwa stood and was about to leave until he felt something was grabbing his wrist. He found Eunhye’s palm around his.

“Stay, please stay for a while, yong” She begged with eyes closed. Yonghwa released her palm carefully. He still froze beside her.

“Wae? you should rest, Eunhye-ssi” he said

“I just want you to stay, please Yong, for once” she opened her eyes then forced herself to sit, Yonghwa helped her to manage her position.

“I’m sorry Eunhye-ssi, I need to go home. It’s already late” He glimpsed at his watch that shown 8pm.

“Andwae. Please stay here for a while, I wanna talk with you” she kept holding his palm.

“...what is it?” He frowned then decided to took the nearest chair and sat on it. He knew he has to go home, but he couldn’t hold his curiousity to know what she wants to say.

“I’m sorry for troubling you, yong..” she paused then observed the man in front of her.

“It’s okay, I just..”

“Please, listen to me first” she cut off his sentences as she held his palm. Yonghwa nodded his head as an agreement. “I know maybe it’s too late for me to say sorry to you. But I think it would be better if I say this, mianheyo Yongie-ya. I really regret what I did. Jinjjaeyo” she paused for a moment to wiped the tears that streaming down her cheeks. “I never thought that it would be so hurt without you. For years I tried to forget you but I failed, I .. I still love you” then her tears turned into sobs. She tried hard to control her emotion. She covered her face by her palm then wiped every single tears though it useless.

Yonghwa was just freezing. He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t know what to do. He even felt surprise to hear her confession just now. He let out a heavy sigh, “Gwenchanaeyo Eunhye-ssi” he said sincerely. “Let’s forget about the past and start new life”

Eunhye shook her head slowly, “I can’t. I don’t know how to forget you”, she managed her breath between her sobs,

“I’m sorry, Eunhye-ssi” that’s all that he could say.

“Ani, it’s not your fault. Maybe this is karma that I should face”, she lowered her head, “And I know you’re already married. I fully understand it. I just can’t help, pabo.. I’m so stupid, aren’t I?” she scolded herself for being so honest as gently hit her head.

“Don’t do that please, Eunhye-ssi” Yonghwa stopped her hand then pulled her into his embrace. He rubbed her back to calm her who was still crying bitterly.

“Then tell me how can I forget you?! tell me, yong!” She leaned her head on his chest and gently hit his chest.

“You should move on, pooh. Just let it go and I’m sure someday you’ll find a better man than me” he assured Eunhye by rubbing her back.

“Do you still love me?” She raised her head to face him directly, “I mean, have you really forgotten me?” Yonghwa couldn’t stand with those pair of puppy eyes. He almost gave up until he realized that he already has Shinhye by himself.

Yonghwa nodded his head, “Humh, mianhata Eunhye-ssi. But I could not marry another girl if I haven’t succeeded forget you” he honest.
