Sparkling StardustLuHan woke up with an awful pain on his neck. He cursed at the wind as he opened his eyes and got off the bed. No, scratch that. It wasn't a bed, it was a couch. He only then realized he was at JinAe's apartment. Everything that happened last night in his apartment came all back to him. He muttered another curse as he ran his fingers through his hair.
Just by looking at the window, he knew the sun had rose up high already. He let out a sigh. "Don't tell me that girl is still not awake..." He muttered to himself.
He ventured towards the only bedroom in her apartment and softly knocked. No response. He knocked again but silence greeted him. With no luck, he twisted the doorknob open as slowly as he could. And there she was, on the bed, still snoring at this time of the day.
"Hey," he kicked her bed but she didn't budge. "Wake up."
Still snoring.
Seriously?
He leaned forward and tugged her comforter. She moaned but didn't wake up. The corner of his lips slowly twitched upward. JinAe looked so peaceful while she was sleeping. He fought the urge to brush off the strand of her hair from her face.
But then he couldn’t stop himself. His fingers brushed lightly against the softness of her skin. It felt tingly and…warm. So weird.
JinAe stirred and moaned. “L-LuHan…”
His jaw dropped. “What?” He snickered. “Did she just…”
“LuHan, that’s my tteokbokki. Don’t eat it or I’ll kill you…” She murmured in her sleep.
Great. Just as when he thought she was fantasizing him in her dreams. He chuckled. An idea came to his mind. “Just one tteokbokki, Choi. Just give me one or else…” He leaned closer until his face was almost close to hers. “…I’ll kiss you.”
She moaned again. “No way…You’ve already kissed that frog, haven’t you?”
He scowled. “Frog?”
“Yes…that pink cat?”
“What?” A frown appeared on his forehead. He should have known. Talking to a person who is sleep talking would just lead to nowhere. He chuckled quietly to himself feeling amused. "Yeah...that pink cat." He said.
“His name is LuHan..."
"That pink cat?"
"No...he is LuHan."
He smirked. "That LuHan guy...do you like him?"
"No, he's an idiot. He likes to bully me..." she replied that made him flicked her forehead. JinAe stirred and her eyes fluttered. He grinned as he waited for the moment that she will open her eyes. And when she finally did, her eyes automatically went like saucers at the sight of him. "What the—hey! How did you get inside my room?!" JinAe freaked out as she pulled the comforter up to her neck as if he'd molested her or something.
He rolled her eyes. "The door. Where else? And good morning." He stood up straight. "Get off the bed now and buy me clothes."
"What the heck! Why me?"
He looked at her like she had grown two heads. "Because you are my assistant."
"Well, not in my house!" She retorted. "Go and buy on your own. In fact, you owe me one for interrupting my sleep last night. Do you know how hard it is for me to sleep again after waking up in the middle of the night?"
"No," he said laced with sarcasm.
"I fell back asleep at four in the morning!"
