JinAe almost choked on her coffee when she saw LuHan walking straight to the kitchen the next morning. She didn't know how to show her face to him, especially her lips because it got bruised from last night's kissing session with him. Heck, if he would notice it she sure didn't know how to respond. She should better come up with a good and believable lie for that this instant.

JinAe instantly sipped on her coffee again when LuHan dropped himself on the stool next to her. However, he didn't eat yet. He was so busy rubbing his temples. "I'll make some coffee for you." She announced.

"Thanks." He muttered, still not looking up. "Ugh. Hangover, please go away."

She smirked. "That's what you get for drinking too much last night. You should've known better than to drink like that." She said. Minutes later, she got back and placed his cup of coffee in front of him. He immediately sipped on it even though it was hot.

"Yeah, I got carried away." He replied.

Silence took over them for a whole minute before she spoke. "Mark told me last night that you had a fight with Minhyuk. What happened?"

"It's nothing." He said instead and she so wanted to splash the hot coffee on his face.

How on earth would it just be nothing? For heaven's sake, he almost got into a fist fight and it was just nothing? Was it just for fun? She squinted her eyes at him. "How can it be just nothing? You don't start a fight without a reason. And you will not be annoyed to someone who doesn't give against you. So tell me or I'll rip your throat." She told him.

LuHan whirled his head and his eyes landed on her face. She waited for him to reply but instead he frowned as he leaned closer almost abruptly that made her leaned back as fast as she could she almost fell off the stool. "What happened to your lips?" He asked, the same moment he reached for her lips. It was too late for her to turn her head away because his thumb had already touched her lips, or rather the bruise on her lower lip. "Where did you get this?" He asked again, clearly not wanting to let the 'bruise on her lip' get away.

She cleared . "I-I tripped on the stairs and hit my face."

"Stairs?" He frowned even more.

Crap.

She couldn't look at him in the eye as she continued lying on his face. "Y-Yesterday, I didn't take the elevator because it's taking too long to get up so I just took the stairs and I accidentally tripped myself."

LuHan didn't look like he believed her.

Double crap.

“What? You don’t believe me?” She feigned innocence and hoped deep inside it would work out.

“Sounds like bull.” He scoffed. She wrinkled her nose the same time he sipped on his coffee again. Then he looked back at her. “To me, it looks like someone was your face too hard—” He stopped mid-short and frowned again.

To make matters worse, went dry. “Wh-What?” Her voice cracked.

“What did really happen last night, Choi?” He was suspicious. Oh God.

She could feel the panic building up inside her. “I-I don’t know. I was not in the party, remember?”

“No. What I mean is what happened when I arrived home? I remember Mark’s dad drove me home...” He was trying to recall what happened last night. Oh, crap! “…and then I saw you in the parking lot and together we headed upstairs.”

She gave a nervous laugh. “Ha-ha! Nothing happened, really. Can we just eat—”

“Shut up. I’m trying to recall what happened last night…” He cut her off. She gulped. She wanted to die in a whole right now. It didn’t help her when LuHan was staring intently on her face as if he could recall everything last night by looking on her face.
