*Sunmi's POV*

I woke up to the smell of fresh flowers. I opened my eyes and a bright room with gold furnitures greeted my sight. I turned to my right and saw a boquet of pink roses on the night stand.

"OH, You are awake." A handsome middle aged man sat down next to me.

"Um, Where Am I?" I asked the ahjussi politely.

"You are in Matoki palace, sweetheart." He smiled at me with gentle eyes.

"GASP! what am I doing at the enemy palace??" I went into a panic mode. I backed away from the nice looking ahjussi.

"I see that Exo princes have brainwashed you." The ahjussi sighed. Then he snapped his fingers at the door and it revealed the people who I've been praying every night to meet.

My PARENTS.

Appa and Umma walked in hand in hand. They came onto my bed and hugged me.

"Aigoo, our baby looks all grown up now." Umma pinched my cheeks.

"She looks like a lady now" Appa patted my hair.

Then I couldn't help myself. I started crying. It seems like a dream to me. It's like they popped out of nowhere.

"Umma, Appa. Mianhe. I'm so sorry I ran away."

"SHH shh, sweetie. You are safe now." Umma cooed. After minutes of crying and I finally calmed down. Then,Appa said something that made me cry once again.

He said," Sunmi, sweetie. It's time you know the truth. We are not your real parents."

"Yah, you made her cry all over again." The ahjussi from before said.

"Sorry, hyung. But, she needs to know the truth." Appa turned to me and said,"Sunmi-ah, greet this ahjussi. He's your real father." I gaped at them both. I can't believe this. How can something huge like this be hidden from me?

"Appa? Why? Why are you doing this? Umma,please tell me this is all a dream."

"Come with me, Sunmi. I shall tell you the whole truth." The good-looking ahjussi reached for my hand.

*Narrator's POV*

Yunho took Sunmi to his study room. It was decorated with pictures of his late queen, Sunmi's mother. The resemblance between the queen and Sunmi was remarkable.

"Pretty, isn't she?" Yunho said when he saw Sunmi gazing at the portrait.

"Is she-" Sunmi asked.

"Yes, she is your birth mother. Say hi to your umma, Sunmi. She's been waiting for you all this time." Yunho said. Sunmi could hear the sadness in his voice. "What happened?" She asked Yunho. Then, Yunho started telling her about the past. Starting from how he and Sunmi's mother fell in love to how Sunmi was sent away to earth to avoid EXO. Sunmi was overwhelmed with the information thrown at her. She couldn't grasp the idea of Exo princes harming her. She felt like a fool. It turns out that they were waiting to kill her all along. She felt disgusted and betrayed.
